2 weeks later
The sound of people murmuring as footsteps came behind them. For the past two weeks Siren, John, and Clockwork have been in the hospital due to their injuries, and its been painful annoying.
Every single day from the moment they wake up to until the sun comes down, people from the elf district have come in and out of the hospital to visit them after what happened there. Most came to thank them, but the others. . . They were irritating. They came in either demanding autograph or they were news reporters trying to ask them questions. But thankfully, this was the last day of them being there. But something that worried him, is that Charlotte hasn't left his side since he got here.
Right there, at the edge of the bed, near his thigh, she laid. Although she was asleep now, Siren could tell that she hadn't gotten any sleep lately, her eyes gaining bags under them as her body laid in a bad position.
Siren leaned up as he pull the cover off of him as he looked at his right arm.
It was gone, whatever that gun the robot used wasn't just plasma, it made it so that you couldn't regenerate it the way Siren does, even though John and Clockwork's injuries healed naturally, Siren has permanently lost his arm.
Due to it being his dominant arm, its going to make things harder, but he's faced worse.
With a heavy sigh he pulled Charlotte off the chair she was sitting on and laid her on his lap, her body was dead cold, but it was something he was going to get used to as he leaned back and looked over to his left and right, John and Clockwork being on both sides.
He rubbed Charlotte's head as he smiled. He's never noticed how peaceful she looks in her sleep until now, but now that he's sitting here thinking about everything that's happened this month, he sighed.
"John, new guy. . . I have a question." Siren says as he leans back.
"John and Clockwork both sit up as they look in his direction.
"Do you guys wanna help take out Coldstorm?" He asks.
"Hell, might as well. I already hated the guy." John says.
"Absolutely, I was gonna kill him anyways." Clockwork states.
There was a warm feeling in Siren's heart, hearing others also want to help bring that man down as he rubbed Charlotte's horn.
"When we get out of here, were gonna make sure that man doesn't do what he's did today." Siren declares as he sticks his arm in the air.
*They were gonna make sure nobody else suffers from that man's actions.
