Chapter 2: The Boy Who Runs A Shop (2)
"You... You're the owner of this shop?!" Liza pointed at Aiden in disbelief. Well, who wouldn't when the boy in front of her was too young to own a shop by himself.
Aiden nodded his head, then pointed at the framed copy of the shop's deed behind the counter.
"It's real." Shane murmured in a low voice when she saw Aiden's name on the deed. She then turn to look at the spear in her hands.
She does not care who owns the shop, all she cares at this moment was to buy this spear. This was the first time she felt something like this towards a weapon. She even have no idea of the value of the materials on this spear and she had never heard of their names. But judging by the weapon itself, it should be very rare materials.
Shane to look at Aiden and was just about to ask for the pirce of the spear. Aiden was already pointing like he already knew what she was going to ask.
When she looked at the direction where he was pointing, she was greeted by six zeroes.
[Tempest Breaker: Red Grade]
{Price: 1 000 000 Gold Coins}
"WHAT? Even the weapons here are overpriced?" Came Roan's voice as he looked at the price of the spear. Behind him, Jason was holding a bottle of potion.
"That's a Flask of Freedom Potion. Anyone who takes it will breakthrough their limits for about 2 hours, increasing their strength by three levels. There will be no side-effects after the effects wear out but it can only be taken once. Taking the potion again will not produce any effect but will only end up with a, uhmm... stinky problem." Aiden explain the the effects of the potion. The reason is that he did not put any descriptions on the shelf as he believes that no one will buy any of his potions.
These are just ones of his failed attempts on creating Divine Potions. Though it might be failed attempts for him but a masterpiece to others.
"Really? This potion has that effect?" Jason was surprised just like the others. He had just pick it up because it was the cheapest one on the shelf. He never thought that it would have such effects.
"So amazing? How about this one?" Roan asked as he raised a scabbard, made of wood.
Aiden only glanced at the scabbard and then said like he don't care, "That's for free. There will be items for free in this shop, finding them will defend on your luck. That scabbard has no name, I just threw it here since it was useless. Aside from repairing and mainting any weapon sheathed on that scabbard, it has no other uses."
"Woah... Cool. I'll be keeping it then, thank you." Roan simply answered He then took out his sword from his scabbard and put it in his new one.
Liza have been staring at the Aiden this whole time. Her eyebrows raised everytime someone from her team ask a question, but the boy in front of her was too much for his age.
She also doubt whether the effects he was telling them was real or not. She was not like the other who would just believe in eveything he said.
"That potion cost 10 000 gold coins by the way." Aiden said.
"I know." Jason answered as he handed a bag containing the payment.
"Nice doing business with you." Aiden smiled as he turned to look at Shane who had been hesitating until now.
Although she had enough money to pay for the spear, Shane had been saving it for an armor she had her eyes on for a long time already.
But the connection she was feeling with the spear made her hesitate on her decision to just give up the weapon. Adding the fact that she really did not need a replacement for her armor for the meantime.
Shane decided to just give it try.
"Here..." Shane also handed a bag towards Aiden, who just receive it without looking at the inside.
Shane, Roan, Jason, and Liza who did not pick anything left the shop.

"Guys, I'm telling you, something is wrong with that kid." Liza, who had been suspicious from the very beginning began talking as soon as they come out of the shop.
Shane was still fascinated with the spear so she did hear Liza's question. Roan was busy strapping the new scabbard into his waist. Even though he did not believe what Aiden said, he like the design of the scabbard so he decided to take it. Jason was the only person who bothered to answer Liza. The potion he bought will not show its value too soon.
"I can understand what you're unto. A shop that is weirdly hidden, a very young owner and items being sold made out of unknown materials."
