Chapter 1 - Prologue: The World of Netheral

In the corners of the world, vast lands teem with magic, ancient civilizations, and forgotten legends: The Forest of Zagroth in the West, The Underground Kingdom of Dawn near the North, The Kingdom of Isan located on the Eastern border of the world, The Mountain of Ragir near the South, and The Forsaken Lands at the core of the world. Now, for the last location, it is said to be known as a myth to most and a reality to few: The Aerial Temple…

To the west, within the heart of an eternal forest, is the sacred land of the Elves—The Forest of Zagroth. This sacred land of the Elf race has been theirs since ancient times with the forest earning its title from the great warrior Zagroth, whose bloodline continues to rule today.

Far to the north, beneath the unyielding mountains, lies The Underground Kingdom of Dawn. The Underground Kingdom of Dawn is a Dwarf kingdom known for its fine works and unique architecture. The Dwarves have been around just as long as the Elves and have greatly impacted the world with the creation of the Divine Arts.

The Kingdom of Isan, though young compared to other ancient lands, has gained fame through its legendary heroes and its success in numerous wars, including the Great War. Though it has not stood for centuries like many other civilizations, Isan has established itself as a powerful force, and its people are respected for their courage, wisdom, and strength. Positioned on the eastern border of the known world, Isan thrives in fertile lands, serving as a key location in trade, politics, and military might.

In the south, towering above the landscape is the Mountain of Ragir, an Ogre stronghold ruled by the powerful chief Ragir. Over centuries, the Ogres of Ragir have grown from brutish barbarians into a sophisticated and formidable society. They have developed an uneasy coexistence with other races, though their strength and pride make them both respected and feared.

At the very core of the world lies the Forsaken Lands, a desolate and dangerous region where ancient magic, forgotten relics, and powerful artifacts lie hidden. The Forsaken Lands are a place few dare to enter, as the odds of surviving are slim to none. Those who seek its treasures often fail, and their names are lost to time.

And high above the world, in the distant skies, is the Aerial Temple, a mythical structure last entered during the Great War. The temple was once a source of immense power, where the leaders of Isan sought the Spirits' help to battle the Demonic Spirit that threatened their world. Now, the Aerial Temple is seen as little more than a legend, and its path is thought to be lost to time. Yet some still believe that its power could be lingering.
