Synopsis

Prologue

History repeats itself, the past of a million casualties, the horror of every mankind in history happened again one way or another. But this isn't the exact place of my hometown, why did I ever end up in this hell.

Dark smoke was emitting from place to place, shells of bullets scattered everywhere and blood shed of countless bodies painting the whole dark brown soil like there was no single living life of plants to exist. The surrounding was silent like horror as I sat down in the trench waiting for terror to happen. My assistant came towards me with a worried face and raised her hand trying to heal my wounded arm. Her palm suddenly emitted a glowing crest with magic overflowing, pointing at my bleeding arm.

"Your arms are bleeding!" She says, while her face was in worry and stress

Glimpse of past memories came into my head, thinking back to how my life was simple. Those times I still see my mother smiling brightly together with the whole family with my father. Things wouldn't have been more the same after our father left. I don't understand why this needs to happen to me in the first place. Suddenly the 204th battalion gently raised their Kar98k rifle waiting for the signal for the commander in our infantry. The silence took second and finally the commander raised his hand and shouted.

"Fire!!!"

A bloody battle, guns firing at every corner as opposing infantry groups charge towards getting shot.

"For our fatherland" The remaining of our allied troops shouted.

Every day, countless soldiers die in a single second, men are blown apart, limbs are severed from torsos leaving their body stranded throughout the battle

field. Giant rats pick at the dead and the wounded. Suddenly, a loud faint pop sound approaching towards the trench. A person ran and took cover behind the trench and suddenly shouted.

"Incoming!!

It was artillery coming from the other side. Suddenly a big bang flashes throughout the area, the loud explosion causing temporary damage to the ears. The shockwave blown away by the blast hitting other things in a fallout. Tons of shells came towards the trench. My assistant ran towards my front and summoned a shield to protect me.

"Don't worry I'll make sure you won't get hurt." She says, while breathing heavily with her feet struggling to stand up.

At that moment a beam of light completely flashed throughout the area. The bright light caused a temporary blindness to our eyes along with a powerful wave that completely pushed us in the distance as I hit the ground hard, making me unconscious for a minute.

Is this the end of my chapter?
