Two Months after....

*walking into hallway*
Jasper: ahm nics, lets go home together later?
nics: hmm i'll think about it, because my friend needs me hehe he have so many probs.
Jasper: okay. *did she mention 'he'*
Nics POV
me and jasper we're talking for like two months and i can sense that he likes me *thinking* hmm i don't want to fall inlove, im scared enough from my past.
*Relapsing
aughhh this trauma i can't get rid off. like its been a year since it happen and now im still scared to love again.
*Class dismissed at 5:30 pm*
*chats*
ley: nics, can you go with me? im just.. you know just wanna rant some problems.
nics: yes sure, tell me everything later.
5 minutes later....
ley: where are you? i'll meet you at the exit gate.
nics: on my way.
"ley!" as i call him, i see those sad eye of his.
*Quick introduction*
ley is my long time best friend. We've been friends since i was in grade 5, and he was my classmate at that time, and we used to bully each other. He's been 7 years with me.
"beh" he said while looking down ('beh' was a call for a friend in the Philippines. We use this as we call our friend, family, relative, even if we don't know a person we use this 'beh' as a call.)
"yes?" as i response " dad and i fought again" he said " what happened this time?" as we keep walking " i just want to be with my mom and he keep saying that i should stay with him. You know the situation right? " as he speaks with sadness "Yes, you're dad has an affair right?" i response " and dad said that i should stop seeking for my mom presence." "hmm why??" "he said that we can live without my moms presence and he said that he and that woman we'll live as a family."
As we walk and reach our destination, he started to cry, cry as a baby. I taped his back and tell him that 'its okay to cry you know, its better to cry it all out than to keep it."
*Quick background*
ley is the eldest son of uncle Raymond (short for ray or mon) . Uncle Raymond and aunt lina was separated because of uncle's affair. So ley and his little sister sophy, living without a presence of their mom. Uncle Ray does not have an expectation about ley accepting his new Girlfriend (Aunt saly).
Suddenly he stopped crying and ask me to go with him into a convenience store to buy an ice cream (our comfort dessert). We buy ice cream and find a seat near the store and he keep telling his problem about that.
"beh, i don't want to go home right now." as he said "ley you need to go home, uncle might worry to you and its already late. What if we walk onto our way home?" as i response "okay, but i'll buy another ice cream." while looking inosently.
As we walk our way home he suddenly ask "beh do you remember our promise?" while looking into my eyes "here you go again" i rolled my eyes and we both laugh. "now you feel better?" i asked " yes, thankyou always for listening" he hugged me. i patted his back and said "now you're being sweet ha! anyways i gotta go, see you tom" we parted ways.
Prologue
way back on our elementary days, when we became friends we had this little cheeky promise. Well we promised that when we become 30 years old and still have no husband or boyfriend we'll marry each other. Well as we grow up i didn't take it seriously because we're just too young back then.

a message from jasper.
jasper: hi nics, good eve! take care on your way home!
Jasper: nics? u home na?
Nics: yes, im home na.
Jasper: why are u late?
Nics: did i just told you earlier that i'll meet my friend? And anyway why you keep asking?
Jasper: ahm nothing, i just cared for you.
Nics: What do you mean by that?
Jasper: ah nothing. May i ask if you're free tomorrow?
Nics: ahm yes, why?
Jasper: Can we walk home together tomorrow?
Nics: hmm okay.
Jasper: Have a rest nics! Good night!

im confuse huh, why he asking for my time tomorrow? will he confess to me? i hope not please, i don't want to turn him down i'll feel bad about it huhu *getting senti* well i like him little because for the past few months he's good to me but anyways i know boys, only in the start they are interested then after a couple of months they will aughhh nevermind. i hope he will not confess.
Tomorrow morning...
"hi nics!" jasper startled me " oh sht aughh you know im easily scared right" i said as i laugh a bit. " you're free later right? " "ah yeah" "so can we walk home together after school?" "ahm okay" "promise" "w-what? you're funny huh" he shakes his hand with a pink promise and grab mine "you're so childish" why am i getting hot in my face hahaha maybe because it's summer hehe r-right its summer now so i get easily be hot and sweaty....
*After school*
"hey nics" as he approached me "h-hey" as we walk to a night with a beautuful night view in the sky he suddenly stop "a-ahm nics may i ask yoy something?" " yeah what is it? " *omg he will not confess please* "ahm.. (blush) c-can i-i c-court y-you? " as he spoke to me while stuttering "ahmmm hehe this is so awkward why suddenly ask? is this a prank? " "no its not, i really admired you since-" i interrupted " please stop." "w-why is there something wrong?" "yeah, you know in not totally ready for those courting things but you're a good guy huh ngl, but im not ready for this. I knew that you like me from the start but can you give me a time to think about it? " as i spoke gently " y-yes ofcourse, i'll wait for you no matter what. i'll ask you always if i can court you until you say 'yes' i'll wait for you and confess again about my feelings about you" as he spoke with those sparkling eyes.
" thank you" we keep walking until to our way path. " Thanks for taking me home, take care on your way home" i wave.
