-First Person Perspective-
"See you both tomorrow!" I waved goodbye to the two young adults after they ordered the minimum necessities for raising their partner.
The two, especially Alex, planned to buy a ton of berries before I stopped them and recommended they come back tomorrow for a more effective food for the Pokemon, which is none other than Pokeblocks!
And so, After I successfully convinced Alex and Jason to only buy enough berries to last the night I brought the two to the Pokedex section and got them to buy a Gen 6 Pokedex, the only Pokedex I stocked up for now.
It can also work as a regular phone but is also much safer, as it has tighter security and a higher grade of anti-malware.
The two also brought some MooMoo milk, which I made sure to always stock up on, since day 1.
Overall, I got a pretty decent amount of money from their purchase in the shop.
"Siesta, close the shop for now" I stretched while voicing my request which Siesta followed through.
Right now, it's enough for the two of them to buy Pokemon, and I have this gut feeling that If I open the shop even after this sale, It would be completely useless.
Anyhow, I got 4,700 points from this transaction, and it's more than enough as my points are now a total of 19,250!!
Almost 20K! It makes me extremely proud.
Plus!! I got two more Gacha Tokens! So overall I don't need to be that desperate to sell eggs.
For now, I should go ahead and study some Pokeblock recipes in the library.
And so, I did just that. I spent a few hours reading books about pokeblocks, their recipes, effects, and taste.
Once I finished, I went back to the second floor, and walked straight through the kitchen, passing by Siesta who seemed to have taken a fresh bath not long ago.
I turned on the pokeblock machine with excitement, just like a kid who was given a new toy to play with.
I then went on and fetched some of the berries from the pantry, before starting my attempts at making the most simple general pokeblock.
It lasted for 3 hours, failure after failure, either by not getting the timing right on adding each berries, or failing to get the right temperature, etc.
The failed attempts either became burnt and black, or the taste was horrible, heck on the first try the pokeblock ended up becoming a black sludge.
Exactly the black sludge that is so poisonous it enhances poison-type moves.
But after countless attempts, which had depleted a quarter of the berries I had on hand, I had finally succeeded in making a successful Pokeblock.
Aside from its looks, it's just like any normal pokeblock, it looks like how a max revive would look. Super pointy but still success is a success so starting from there the success rate of making a pokeblock turned into ⅓ which is not bad, considering I had attempted only 3 hours ago.
So right in front of me is a medium-sized bowl full of generic Pokeblocks that would still do the job and strengthen low-leveled Pokemon regardless of their type
Although the effects won't be as great as a specialized pokeblock.
___
Over the days, the shop went on as usual, although I did make some changes on how large the scope I can receive customers.
Mainly changing it to only receive customers in one city each day, so I have not been as busy as I was a few days ago.
And of course, it's not just any city, it's only for the places where I had customers before.
I had Alex, Chitoge, Andre and the rest install software on the Pokedex which they bought during their visits.
It's a scheduling app that would notify them when it's their city's turn where the shop would open.
It also doubles down as a forum where they can share their moments and progress on raising the Pokemon and also talk to each other.
Currently, all of the trainers that have both owned the Pokedex and Pokemon have reached a rather modest but still big number… Which is 60
Of course, they came from all around the world, from Japan to the US, UK, Philippines, and even India and much more.
Which was funny, as the customer from India actually hatched a miltank.
One of the customers was surprisingly the current Queen of England, who upon seeing Yamper immediately fell in love and offered me a ton of money.
Although there was trouble with the bodyguards, it went well, as she and her bodyguards were quite vigilant at first before being dumbfounded after seeing what Yamper could do.
Yamper, who after seeing her majesty, surprisingly ran around her happily which is the reason why the queen offered to buy him off from me.
I had of course explained everything I needed to her, the plans I had in mind as well as the mom's potential.
She was hesitant at first but when I listed down the benefits it could give to her entire land, she accepted.
There were Intimidations here and there, and she even wanted to monopolize the shop like I had thought of before, but explaining the potential destruction capabilities Pokemon could do cooled her down.
So, the two of us reached an agreement, she would become one of the pillars of the Pokemon alliance in the future, and she would send people into the shop once a month who would pick one egg to hatch.
She had also asked for knowledge, which I freely provided, as the knowledge she asked for was just common ones, like the type charts, as well as recipes for 3 pokeblocks and a generic training manual for Pokemon.
In exchange, she will help regulate the Pokemon safety in her land and make sure that the trainers are not in danger, as well as fully supporting the shop and its cause.
I had of course made some restrictions on her, one being that the Pokemon should not be subjected to any tests and experiments that would endanger and hurt them.
As well as to not interfere and mess with any other family, clans, and countries that I want to be a pillar.
One thing to note is that the queen of this world is quite young. Possibly in her early twenties or early thirties at highest, but I did not ask as it's quite rude to ask a lady her age.
She was truly gorgeous, she had the temperament of a queen but, that did not affect me one bit.
After all the formalities, she went back with Yamper on her side, while both her bodyguards were accompanied by their partner, a galarian farfetched and a litleo.
The three also brought a Pokedex each, and the generic pokeblocks and moo-moo milk.
Other than the big shot customer, there was Chitoge's Beehive gang, which was represented by her father.
I had made the same deal with him but with higher restrictions due to them being part of the mafia.
One of the terms he agreed upon was to never initiate any wars using the Pokemon they had acquired, and if they did the Pokemon would get confiscated from them, and even Chitoge, and they would never get accepted again from the alliance in the future.
But of course, if they are retaliating then that would be allowed.
I had also warned them to not use the Pokemon to do any crime, ever… unless of course the Pokemon were fully grown and they could understand what they were doing.
I had of course made the same condition to the queen, which was to not in any circumstances start a war using the Pokemon until they arrived and fully settled down in the world.
After all, once the Pokemon arrived, they had a much higher priority than invading others, which was to protect each of their country and family from the inevitable invasion of the Pokemon.
As for nuclear stuff? There was no need to worry as when the Pokemon arrived, Siesta said that any nuclear elements that would cause mass destruction would be dealt with by the "higher-ups."
Meaning, that they would be deleted from this world, only leaving things like guns and other things that don't cause death in masse alive.
After all, what can a bullet do to the Pokemon with tougher bodies than most normal animal has today?
Much less to the stronger and more evolved ones, especially steel and rock types.
Overall, the world will experience chaos, there Will be death to come, and I would cause all of that, but it does not matter as in the end, everything will become better.
The planet would have been overpopulated if it were the normal size like Earth, but thankfully this world will become much much bigger afterwards, and there will be a lot of unexplored and unclaimed places once the world expands.
Moving on… Since I have been busy with mastering making poke blocks, I haven't had the time to enter the Build Trial but it's fine as the trial won't run away.
I have a much more important matter to attend today.
And that is to finally invite my family to the shop. I have put it off long enough, even Pokemon were slowly getting known by many.
Especially in Japan as it had become a popular topic over time, much to the senate's chargin, as they still haven't found out where they(Pokemon) came from.
Even though, there are only a few customers from Japan, like five or so except for my family.
A particular Pokemon gained a lot of recognition due to it saving a child who had accidentally fell a tall building.
Thankfully, a customer who owned a psychic type Pokemon, Abra was just walking past by and when she saw what happened, she hurriedly called out Abra and asked it to teleport itself towards the child before teleporting both of them to safety.
It had caused a massive commotion, but the customer successfully escaped with the Abra who was drained after all of that.
That's what she said anyway, which I of course applauded him and gave her a reward of a month's worth of specialized psychic type pokeblock.
Not made by me, but bought from the shop.
I also gifted them a twisted spoon, which Abra greatly appreciated.
However, I asked her to lay low for now.
The customer in question is a normal middle-aged woman, who is happily married and has children.
After Abra was done with his check-up, the two went on their way, along with the items I gifted her as well as a basket full of berries.
I did get teased by Siesta though, asking if a middle-aged lady is my type but I scoffed and shrugged it off before I came out to continue farming for the berries.
I typically open the shop for an hour and a half each day before closing it and focusing on farming the berries, as berries were most definitely the most used resource that I have right now, due to training on making pokeblocks.
But today, I closed the shop except for the one in front of Anteiku as I was planning on receiving my family there.
I had asked Siesta to disguise myself as my Shop Manager persona while I went out to my grandparents' house.
This would be the first official and public partnership that the shop would have, the reason being that the partnership with the queen is a secret matter, much less the beehive gang.
___
"Are we there yet?" Ryuuko asked in anticipation as she walked, alongside her father Uncle Nate, and mother, Aunt Kyouko.
"No need to hurry, my friend had closed the shop especially today, so he can meet our family properly" I voiced as I led them to the alleyway that leads to Anteiku and the shop.
Meanwhile, the adults were much more tense as this meeting was an opportunity for the whole family to rise and become an integral part of the world.
So they had stayed silent the whole way, which of course me and Ryuuko had noticed, meanwhile, Arisu was looking around the new environment with much curiosity so she did not make any noise as she walked, holding the hands of her parents.
Once we reached Anteiku, Ryuuko exclaimed in surprise as she voiced
"WHAT?! That super popular Cafe was located in this place?! No wonder only a few knew about the location of this place despite being popular, it turned out it's located in this unassuming alleyway"
Her words got my curiosity so I asked for her clarification and she replied with great enthusiasm.
"Actually, there's these three really popular gourmet and food raters who give really accurate and good reviews, and the two of them had called out this particular Cafe and said it makes the best coffee there is in the whole city.
But they did not say where the Cafe is located as the owner preferred the Cafe to be a quiet and serene place.
Apparently, the Cafe is just a hobby of his, a place where he can just relax and blend some coffee. Oh and! Get this the Cafe owner got a really cute pet owl recently"
"Hooh? Well, that's certainly something, the owner Mr. Yoshimura is a pretty amiable person, and now apparently he's pretty humble as well, and I agree with the reviews that those three had made, he brews the best coffee there is."
I, of course, knew about the owl as Mr. Yoshimura is one of the customers who had bought a Pokemon, and he even got lucky and hatched a Rowlett, which I guess became well known.
"I see, why don't we go and drink some coffee after this meeting? Auntie, do you guys agree?" I recommended, turning my head towards my aunts and uncles, Uncle Nate smiled and nodded.
"Of course, when we're done with the meeting let's go and get some coffee, maybe buy some of the beans the owner uses for your grandpa as well"
"Right! Speaking of meetings, we actually arrived, the shop is that one!" I voiced, before pointing to the bland-looking building with the plaque
[The Poke' Pet Store]
"Now everyone, you might be surprised once you enter the shop, but I won't spoil anything, but just brace yourself for the surprise of your lifetime!" I voiced, before I opened the door for my family, revealing the hallways with the eye-catching paintings and the door that leads to the lobby.
"All right, guys follow me! My friend is waiting in the lobby" I voiced, before leading the way, ignoring their amazed reactions to the paintings.
I stopped when I noticed that they were not moving one bit, and turned around before calling out to my younger cousin.
"Arisu~ why don't you come with your big brother and I'll introduce you to some friends like Shinx. AuntKyouko, can I have Shinx for a bit? My friend had mentioned to me before that he wants to see Shinx before he meets all of you. In the meantime, why don't you check the paintings out and get ready? "
Hearing my words, my aunts and uncle nodded before Aunt Kyouko handed me the Pokeball containing Shinx, while aunt Yuuko led Arisu towards me.
Meanwhile, my uncle's and Ryuuko were fully engrossed in the paintings so I did not bother inviting Ryuuko.
