The patriarch wanted to respond, but Fred did not give him a chance to speak, continuing to berate him:
"Casiano has told you countless times that Alla Barton is his life. You know he's attempted suicide many times for Ms. Barton. Do you really want to stick to your own stubborn opinions, tear them apart, and drive your brilliant grandson to death?
You should realize that no one in the Davies family can compare to Casiano. Only with him as the head can the family continue to grow. If you kill him over his marriage, then the Davies family is truly over!"
After finishing his speech, Fred tugged at the patriarch's pant leg, pleading, "Dad, haven't you understood all these principles after thinking for so many years?"
The patriarch pushed away his hand and bellowed, "Get out! Do you think I don't know all this?"
Fred retorted, "You obviously don't know, or else you wouldn't be so stubborn," and then he narrowly escaped a slap from the patriarch!
