Maggie, dressed in a black backless long dress and carrying a Chanel purse, sat on the living room sofa, taking in the environment within the villa. Seeing Alla descending from the spiral staircase, she quickly rose from the sofa intending to greet Alla, but Alla beat her by rushing towards her.
"Slow down, be careful not to fall."
After Maggie steadied her, she gently touched Alla's short hair, "You used to have long hair, now it's cut short, it looks more lively."
Alla felt a bit bitter inside, but didn't show it in front of Maggie: "I used to be always sick, it's better to be a bit more spirited now."
Maggie smiled with relief: "It's important that you think this way, more than anything else."
Alla returned the smile, "Maggie, have you had breakfast yet?"
Maggie nodded: "Yes."
After she finished speaking, she looked around and asked Alla: "Where is Mr. Collins?"
