In the dim light, it took several changes of the nightclub lights before Maggie could make out the person's features. Despite the short hair, the red dress, and the transformation from her previous appearance, that face was forever etched in her heart. The person she would never forget in her lifetime, was standing right there.
She stood stunned, the cigarette held between her fingers dropping to the ground.
"Maggie!" Alla called out tearfully.
Maggie, not believing her eyes, walked towards Alla, "Alla, is that really you...?"
Alla's tears, which she had been holding back, suddenly fell, "Maggie..."
Hearing her voice, Maggie dared to confirm that she was not seeing the wrong person.
She trembled all over, her raised hand wanted to touch Alla's face several times, but was too excited to keep still.
Alla grabbed her hand, placed it on her own cheek, and tearfully said to her, "Maggie, I'm back."
