Chapter 3 - Poisonous mushrooms on the face

Mushrooms growing on the face, but the woman uses it to cook rice.

However, as soon as night comes, she starts vomiting uncontrollably and keeps cursing.

Chen Laogou noticed her strange behavior and suspected that she had eaten something unclean.

As expected, the mushroom on the table confirmed his suspicion.

He grabbed the mushroom and found blood vessels growing inside it, indicating that it had grown in a very dark place.

Chen Laogou immediately asked where the mushroom was harvested. "In the back mountains, it's in the back mountains," they replied.

Without hesitation, they set off immediately, led by Chun Ni.

They soon found the picking spot, which appeared to be a messy piece of land.

However, as Chen Laogou walked closer, he unintentionally stepped on it and revealed the true face of the Lu Mountain underneath.

Under a few broken wooden planks were several skeletons covered in mushrooms.

Everyone gasped in shock at the sight, but Chen Laogou ignored them and took out a bamboo scroll from his pocket.

He threw a piece of chicken meat into it and carefully placed it on top of the skeleton's head.

Everyone was confused, not knowing what medicine Chen Laogou was selling in this show.

After he calmed down and sat down, he instructed Xiaobian to watch over the skeleton's head.

After a while, something eerie happened. The skull suddenly moved.

Xiaobian was frightened and didn't know if it was the White Bone Demon.

However, in the next second, two centipedes crawled out from inside the skull.

They seemed to be attracted by the chicken meat and quickly crawled into the bamboo tube.

Xiaobian understood what was happening and quickly covered the bamboo tube as per Chen Laogou's instructions.

Before the centipedes could react, he sealed it shut. After obtaining what they wanted, they started to head back.

As soon as Chen Laogou arrived home, he poured out the centipedes.

Everyone was curious about what method Chen Laogou would use to save the woman.

He picked up the woman's hand and handed her the centipede, which she promptly bit.

The bitten finger immediately turned black, but the poison did not spread.

Instead, it formed a straight line from the left side to the right side.

When the time was right, Chen Laogou pricked the woman's finger, releasing some dark blood.

Only after the woman's blood turned back to red did her complexion gradually return to normal. She would be fine by tomorrow morning.

However, before leaving, Chen Laogou instructed the family to burn some paper money on the grave to appease the deceased.

With that, the matter was considered resolved.
