"Everyone will look for us," Arla uttered while they walked fast to the point of almost running in the hallway.
"Then let them look for us. But I think no one will dare disturb the newlyweds on their wedding night," Drake stated as he looked at Arla who was walking behind him.
When they got into their room, they were surprised to see it decorated with candles. There was also a wine basket in the middle of the bed. Drake took the note attached to it and read out loud.
"Dear Drake,
Congratulations to you and Arla on your wedding day. Please don't think that I put something in this wine and please let this serve as my peace offering. I will continue loving our mother in my own way but I will try my best not to be influenced by her.
I want the three of us to start again, and perhaps Hera if ever they accept me in Qiryn. I hope we can become friends again.
