Upon delivering his directives to the trusted alphas, Chris leisurely joined Elsa on the balcony for breakfast, bracing himself for a potential outburst.
"I'm aware you're behind me; I'm not deaf," Elsa remarked, half-turning to meet his gaze. "Come, join me," she urged.
"You're not upset?" Chris inquired.
"I wasn't. I was just having a bit of fun with you. So, what was your discussion about?" she asked, deftly arranging sausages and eggs on Chris' plate.
"I said to them what I shared with you earlier regarding Neia and also filled them in on our upcoming journey," Chris explained.
"Journey? What journey?" Elsa tilted her head in a cute way, making Chris pause for a moment.
"We're heading to Qiryn," Chris declared. "I plan to talk with the Elven Council about using their portal to rescue your father. My faith is in you, and I hope he's still alive too. Additionally, I want to seek their permission to let Elandir join our fight."
