Elsa fixes her intense gaze on Chris while he firmly grasps her hands, preventing her from inspecting his chest.
"I'm perfectly fine, my princess. You must be hungry, right? Why don't we have a meal?" Chris smiles, but Elsa remains skeptical.
"I've lost my appetite," she declares before striking his chest, causing him to wince in pain and giving Elsa an opportunity to carry out her plan. She swiftly seizes his collar and peeks at his chest. "You're lying!"
Elsa saw the same purplish discoloration on Chris' chest with dark veins spreading outward. "Being away for days has clearly affected your sanity! Why keep something like this from me?"
"I was planning to tell you, but I wanted to wait until after the party. I'm sure I could handle it. I'm not as fragile as the people you healed at the camp. I'm much stronger, and I can endure longer," Chris attempts to explain.
