I stared at the school building with a grim face. This is where it all began, my misery I mean.

I walked inside steadily but with unsure steps. I walked up the stairs and was grateful that they were all in class.

I got to my locker and unlocked it carefully. I stared at my neatly decorated locker, I was gonna miss it so very much.

I began offloading my stuffs into my back pack but in the process as if luck was not on my side, the bell rang and students came gushing out of the classrooms, none of them spared me a glance well why was I disturbed…

"Renasmey". He called out, right behind me and I jolted in fear.

Oh yeah, he's the reason I'm disturbed. I didn't turn back as I just stood there,

"Are you deaf or something". He pulled me by my hair and I hissed in pain. "Where are you going?" He asked and I stared at him as he left my hair.

"I'm leaving the country". I said ever so gently as I hung my head low.

"Because?" He asked as I rose up my head to see him chew on a gum which he always had on him.

Jayvion Luther, an eighteen year old, he is my class. Born to one of the richest Artisans in Europe. He was about six foot tall, a short turtled jet black hair, he is a swimmer and a hockey player so I'm sure you could imagine his body but most importantly is that…he is a bully.

"Am moving". I stuttered.

"Why?" He asked.

"My mum got a better job so…" I trailed.

"So…?" He asked with narrowed eyes.

"…" I just stared at my feet.

"So you where gonna leave without telling me about it?" He asked with seriously squinted eyes.

"Sorry…I have to go, my parents are waiting". I immediately said as I slammed the locker swiftly before walking away quickly.

I didn't have friends to wish goodbye to so I walked to where my mum stood alongside my father and older brother.

"You done?" Mum asked and I nodded.

"Okay then, let's go". Dad clapped his hands and I looked at DIMSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL one more time before getting into the car.

The real reason I was leaving the school and country was because, I was…pregnant.

"Mum, Dad". I called loudly as I ran to them. They engulfed me in a warm hug. "You guys made it".

"How could we miss our baby's birthday after ten good years?" Mum said after I stepped away from them and I smiled.

"What about Edward?" I asked as I looked behind them in search of him.

"Ed will be here later tonight, his flight got postponed". Dad said and I nodded understandingly as I led them inside the apartment.

"Nice house". Dad said.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys earlier that I moved, Dane helped me get a new place". I said as I took their suitcase up the stairs.

"It's better than the old one though". Mum said.

"Yeah, and it's closer to the office". I said as they both sat down and I made them tea.

"So does Dane stay close by?" Mum asked.

"Yeah he does, about two blocks away", I said and she nodded.

"How's Aunt Janet by the way?"

"She's good, she went to Africa last week for one of her NGO trips and will be back next week". Mum said and I nodded as I gave them the tea.

We spoke about random things. It wasn't up to an hour, when Dane came over.

Later that night, Edward came over and we went out for dinner. We sat in a restaurant as we ate dinner.

I went to pay the bill after we were done eating as they waited outside.

"Hey, please I'll like to pay for our meal". I called the cashier who's back faced me, and when he turned to look at me… I stared at him in shock "Wesley!?"

"Asmey". He smiled at me. "It's nice meeting you after what, ten years?"

"…you work here?" I asked as I recovered from my shock.

"Yeah". He said and I just sighed as I took out the cash and dropped it on the counter.

"What happened?" I asked. Wesley was an influencer in school and one of the richest.

"Life did". He said with a somewhat sad smile as he took the money.

"Okay then, bye". I smiled before walking out. I didn't want to get involved in his drama.

When I got out, I breathed out in relief. When we got back home, I showered before getting into my Pj's.

I laid on my bed as I thought about the past. I took my phone shakenly and checked the group chat and unmuted the chat.

I began to read the messages from the beginning of the month.

They still have something stupid against me… Jayvion. Probably he was only asking for him to pick on me again.

We were twenty in class.

Antonio Tessa, the bitchy rich girl with a perfectly sculpted body. She once dated Jayvion but he broke up with her after three months. She is currently an ambassador.

Arthur Zach, the class clown. He didn't bully me physically but closely mentally. He was the song to musician Tk. Now his currently a director and owns his own company where he directs music videos.

Benjamin Billy, another really rude bitch. She was far bossier than Tessa. She treated me like shit in school. She was the daughter of a businessman. She is currently engaged to a wealthy businessman. She is a model.

Calhoun Tia, she was quite rude and too straightforward. She always said things that made me cry but surprisingly in a good way. She never bullied me. She clearly hated the treatment but also didn't want to involve herself in my dirt. She was the daughter to a millionaire engineer and is Jayvion's adopted sister, complicated girl though. She always had a book and pen on her, I expected her to be writer or something like that but surprisingly turned out to be a nurse.

Dolan Mike, the second clown of our class. He was always by my side but also never by MY side. I laughed at the irony. He was an orphan who lived with his fashion icon aunt and partied around. Right now is a comedian, suits him though.

David Jason, he was and is still Jayvion's best friend or should I say only friend. He was nice and always stayed on his own. He had one problem though, he never helped and just behaved as if I was a fading shadow he couldn't see. He is the son to a chief general and currently is a surgeon and is dating an actress. He owns the hospital Tia works in.

Ellen Mae, the daughter of a very famous activist. She is surprisingly my cousin who never acknowledged me. Aunt Janet is her mum, she is nothing like her mum, clearly. She never liked me and vice versa. She was part of Jenny and Billy's click, pretending to be someone she wasn't. She is currently engaged to James and is a psychologist and therapist.

George James, the player after Jayvion. He was born into a family of athletes and is currently one now. He was a coward, stupid for the matter of fact. He bullied me in front of everyone but tried to make a move on me behind the curtains. He is currently engaged to Mae.

Henry Wesley, the son to a businessman. He was the one to tell my news to the whole school and we know how he turned out.

Israel Kate, the daughter of the present minister of finance. She bullied me through the internet. She is presently now a lawyer and is in fact married.

Johnson Jake, son of a famous Artisan. He was a cool guy and always felt sick so hardly ever had time for me. He is currently the father of two adorable girls, he is an actor and of course just had his third baby mama.

Kale Dane, my only friend now. He is the son to a really famous barrister and is currently a news anchor. We never spoke in high school but met again in college, where our friendship began.

Karl Rou, a real friend of mine who left without notice, I don't know how she ended up, but am sure she's good or more like I hope.

Then the main character of my life in high school, Luther Jayvion. Son of a trained martial art lady and drug baron father. He was born with a golden spoon which I envied and still do. Am sure that he doesn't know the words 'PAIN AND SUFFERING'. He bullied me a lot and literally had a say and right over my life that even my parents didn't have on me. He is presently an illustrator, artist and basketballer, lucky right? I haven't heard on his relationship status so…

The others where the cheerers and most have spread around the globe.

Then finally me… I am still me, trying my best to make the best out of life so when I look back I'll know it wasn't a waste of time. I am a publisher and I'm very comfortable. I am not dating anyone. I had lost my child two weeks after moving to London in a car accident. I sound selfish right now but sometimes I was grateful that he died because if he was still alive, I would have dragged him to my messed up life.

I snapped out of my thoughts when my phone beeped. I checked and saw they were birthday messages, oh yeah it's my birthday…at least they are still few people in my lives that love me.
