Previously, the character dubbed as the 'mysterious' and 'ominous' figure had landed on earth, having destroyed most of the universe's magic schools, in order to destroy the ones on earth. After Julia and Nitro felt his presence, Julia alerts Nitro to run away when the ominous figure appears anywhere in the school's proximity. The chapter will now begin with Nitro and Julia running through the school in order to away themselves from further trouble.
Nitro: *slightly surprised* W-whoa Julia, slow down! We need to talk this out!
Julia: *turns back to Nitro* Nitro, you need to understand that the only thing we can do in this position is run! Didn't you notice, upon looking at him, how menacing and soul-deteriorating his very gaze was?!
Nitro: *acknowledges* Well y-yeah... He was pretty intimidating, to say the least.
Julia: *sighs* Now that you understand that, let's continue running!
Nitro: *smirks* You don't need to tell ME twice!
Julia: *smirks* Hmph.
Nitro: *concerned* (Damn, whatever that thing is, it better not try to do anything that would result in the school collapsing to its end...)
*scene changes to the exact figure who is about to be fighting some bronze magic knights who were to guard the gate*

Zaldroth: *stands on a high point in the magic school* Stop you, villainous fiend!!
*from afar*
MK 2: Damn, the captain is doing it again... He's always quick to fight an opponent without a strategy.
MK 3: Yeah, and this time, we haven't a clue who we are fighting...
MK 4: Eh, really? *uses an ancient relic capable of seeing objects from 200 metres away and uses it on the figure* Yikes...!
MK 3: Huh, what is it? Did you spot something...?
MK 4: W-well, kinda... From here that figure we are supposed to hold back kinda looks like that villain from legend... The one who resides himself in the depths of hell...
MK 2: *looks at MK 4* Wait, are you referring to *him* by any chance?
MK 4: Yeah...
MK 3: H-he's the one that is mainly referred to as the 'bringer of chaos', and the 'seed of utter destruction'.
MK 2: Damn, and captain is fighting him...
MK 3: *gulps* Ye-... yeah...
At that very moment, all the knights that were observing from afar broke many sweats upon who they thought that figure was, and that the thought of their captain standing the least bit of a chance against him was slim...
Zaldroth: *a little confused* H-hey! I told you to face me, you senile prick!!
???: *leans his head behind to see Zaldroth* Hm... (My - what a loud individual... Does he want to fight?)
Zaldroth: *makes a menacing yet annoyed face*
???: *smirks* (Oh well I'll make quick work out of him...)
Zaldroth: (Hmph... That *thing* thinks he can take me on... Well with the power of Crimson Flame magic, the captain of the Bronze Knights will lose to no one!) I'll-
The ominous figure moves so quickly in front of Zaldroth that it seemed that he teleported in front of him, not only that, he never gave Zaldroth the time to speak his next line. Given the current momentum, Zaldroth now has a chance to take a look at him at a very close perspective and the size comparison, *laughs* well... It's shocking...
Zaldroth: *Slowly looks up in fear and starts shivering! The seemingly unbreakable and immovable captain was terrified!*
???: *stands patiently, whilst bearing a menacing aura*
Zaldroth: *contemplates reality* (W-what, when did he...?!)
???: *yawns* Despite me being who I am, I will continue to hold some amount of chivalry.
Zaldroth: *visibly and terrifyingly confused* H-heh..?
???: *scornfully* Oi, don't question me - YOU attack first, bastard.
Zaldroth: *prepares for an attack* A-AHHHH! G-get away from me, you sacrilegious beast!! I'll... I'll...!!
???: *swiftly appears behind him*
Zaldroth: *gasps in alerting fear and immediately turns around* DEMON KI-
*SLASH!*
The sound of the ominous, villainous figure slashing Zaldroth in half, and as he lands, his organs fall out... What a terrible sight. You could even see craters of the claw marks in the outcome.
???: Shit. What a moron. I'd not want to have my very title spoiled by a worthless human TO worthless humans... Actually, come to think of it - I didn't get to hear what he attempted to say to me earlier.
*shrugs* (Nah, he just wanted to kill me, typical behaviour of a moron).
He then looks over to the three magic knights who were to watch the battle from afar
all three of the MKs: (W-what?!)
MK 2: *sweating nervously* Damn, captain was finished off instantly...!
MK 4: He hadn't the chance to speak before he could fight him...
Whilst noticing them, the creature glares intensely, giving an eerie and soul-stopping look toward them as the blood from his fingers dried up instantly and crumbled up, due to the heat emitting off of his body,
MK 3: *gulps nervously* G-guys I think he noticed us...
MK 2: *annoyed yet scared* Well aren't you Mister Obvious in given situations, of course he noticed us!
???: (Ah, there's more fodder? Fair enough, fodder is fodder).
The devilish figure reaches out his arm and points his finger towards them. Dark red, chaotic energy is concentrated on his fingertip like an orb, and the magic knights are astonished. He then releases the energy taking its form as a large destructive ray as wide as your average building which vaporized anything in its reach, which means the magic knights and anyone within the ray's reach was extinguished (including various teachers/students at the magic school, cities, villages and other countries!!!). The move he used was called, 'Extermination Ray'.
???: *strangely surprised* Shit, for the school's last line of defence, I didn't expect them to be that useless. Heh oh well... *destroys more parts of the school in his wake*
*scene change*
Nitro: *so astonished that she struggled to speak* J-Julia...
Julia: *gulps* Y-yeah, I know...
Nitro: *her head lowers down as she trembles* I can't believe it...
Julia: Magic knights were killed so quickly, they weren't even given a chance to counteract...
Nitro: Not only that, countless of students and staff in the school were vaporized within the proximity of that energy beam. And most of all....
Julia: ...
Nitro: *saddens*...Our friends were in the rooms of that part of the school, and we could not do anything as a result of their deaths...
Julia: *puts her hand on Nitro's shoulder* Nitro, what we must do given the dire situation we're in, is to run...
Nitro: *looks back at Julia, wipes her tears then smiles* Right!
The two girls run out of the right-hand-side hallway through the library and from there the store room, up to the school roof. From there, they could see all the damage the demon had caused to the school. Students running for their lives, others mourning upon their companions' death(s), and others trying to kill each other! The site was abysmal and terrible to watch, even the Gods of Death themselves would be appalled upon seeing this.
*Heavy winds blow as the flames of hell erupt.*
Nitro: *concerned* So Julia, what is our best course of action now...?
Julia: *makes a face of shock and holds her mouth with her hands* I...*holds herself whilst she pants heavily* ...can't... with... this... I CA-
Nitro: *gets annoyed and slaps Julia so hard that she lands on the ground* OI, YOU WHINEY BITCH!!!
Julia: *makes a face filled with shock and dread*
Nitro: *yells* Keep yourself together, will ya?! All of those people are gone now, I don't want that to be you nor me or anyone else, understand?!
Julia: *a tear falls down her left eye*
Nitro: *heavy and annoyed sigh* Now tell me, what do you think is our best course of action...
Julia: *stops crying, gets up, wipes her tear away and smiles a little* (Sorry, I lost myself there...) Nitro...
Nitro: Y-yeah...?
Julia: I think we should... split up... *moves to take off, then stops when Nitro calls her*
Nitro: *astonished* W-wait! Wouldn't it be the best decision to stay together and think things through?
Julia: Y-yes, but considering the size of the school and the state it is in now, we'd make ourselves more noticeable to that thing and we'd be killed, whereas if we were to split up we can work our way out in separate ways and meet up at a designated spot...
Nitro: Ah ok. But the question is, where to meet...
Julia: At the back of the schoolyard...
Nitro: A-alright...
The atmosphere within this scene turns into a dark atmosphere, as Nitro and Julia are about to part ways. As their hair flows through the hellish wind, they both speak.
Julia: Well, I guess this is goodbye, for now...
Nitro: *smirks* Don't get yourself killed, Julia.
Julia: *smiles*
Nitro then leaves and Julia stands there on the roof, taking a deep breath, before making her move as well.
They agree to the plan, though reluctantly. Nitro then traverses the chaotic school alone, focused on escaping. They then fatefully meet up again near the stairwell exit, looking at each other with determined perspicacity, believing that they will both survive this hellish event.
As Nitro and Julia near a stairwell exit, the wall detonates beside them. Rubble flies as an enormous hand reaches through the dusty haze, claws outstretched toward Julia.
Julia: "Nitro, look out!"
She shoves Nitro out of the way just as the clawed fingers snatch her up, clamping around her torso. Nitro tumbles behind debris, peering out in horror.
Julia: "No! Let me go!" she screams, kicking fruitlessly as the hand lifts her high.
Through the jagged hole, the creature's face appears. His mouth stretches impossibly wide, flesh tearing until a draconic maw of iron fangs emerges. Infernal flames glow deep within his throat.
Nitro meets Julia's terrified eyes. She sees the reflection of the hellfire about to engulf her friend. Nitro shakes uncontrollably, trying to scream but no sound emerges.
The flames erupt, swallowing Julia alive. Her agonised wails pierce Nitro's heart. The stench of burning flesh floods her senses. Julia's blackened, charred corpse falls to the floor with a sickening thud.
Nitro stares, eyes swollen with tears, unable to comprehend Julia's horrific demise. The mysterious creature regards her with an icy grin before vanishing into smoke. Its glowing yellow eyes fade as walks back. Nitro crawls to Julia's remains, collapsing upon them. Sobs wrack her small body as searing anguish floods her mind.
After mourning her friend's death, Nitro hesitantly got up, mustering her courage to take one more step again.
Nitro then runs through the school floor, running past all the bad outcomes of this attack, trying to ignore all the bad that has happened, in order to get to her exit.
Nitro: (Damn it! I was hoping nothing terrible would happen when he showed up... and yet I was wrong...He, killed her...)
As she runs, she comes to realise that there may be no escape from this hell. Nothing seemed or felt real to her at that moment. Meeting up with the devilish creature once again, wasn't a surprise for her.
Nitro: *sarcastically* (Oh... How I wonder how I've ended up seeing him so fast... How cliche. I wonder what sis sis and pops would do in this situation...) How...
*Two figures walk towards Nitro as she trembles and sobs. When they get very close to her, one of them touches Nitro's shoulder.*
Nitra: *smirks*
Arthur: *laughs* Right...
Nitro: *stops in some shock*
both Arthur and Nitra: How what?
Nitro: *turns to find her father and older sister behind her and then starts to cry tears of joy* Dad, sis sis... I'm so glad you've come...
Arthur: ...
Nitra: ...
Nitro: *sniffs* School seemed normal as any school day should be, kids talking and playing with each and teachers teaching them. However, when *he* showed up, everything was ruined... Many died trying to run or fight him but all failed... It was absolutely hopeless...
Nitra: Oh dear sister, I'd imagine just how bad that would have been seeing that on the spot... A girl your age shouldn't watch anyone die...
Arthur: *smirks* That's right... *plays with Nitro's hair* Lighten up a little! Once Nitra and I are done here, everything will tone down, alright? You moron...
Nitro: *calms down a little* Y-yeah...
Nitra: *smiles*
Arthur: *laughs*
*Although all seemed alright at first, there was still one thing Nitro couldn't shake off her chest...*
Nitro: Dad, sis sis...
Nitra: Eh, what's wrong Nitro?
Nitro: Julia...
*The tone shifts to a dark tone*
Nitra: Nitro? Little sister, is something the matter?
Nitro musters up the courage to try and say what it is she wants to utter. However, she can only mutter, nothing but a few words. With an utterly gut-wrenchingly terrified visage, she speaks.
Nitro: Julia...is dead...
A pause. A deep, and silent one at that. The soundlessness... is so potent and overwhelming, that it can be heard.
Nitra: *bewilldered* Oh...
Nitro: ...
Arthur: ...
Nitro's tears of sadness turn to anger. She exclaims.
Nitro: God, why the hell do you do this to people... Why is it that when one person deserves to live a happy life, dies a tragic death...
Nitra: *concerned* Nitro-
Nitro: *yells* I don't understand!!! Why is it that she had to die?! Why?! Why?! She and I promised that we'd see each other again, *alive* might I add, after this catastrophic event! And yet...! And yet.... *starts to cry* She died...
Nitra: *goes over to hug her* Nitro, there was nothing else she could have done in her position... Mentally she was having a terrible time, she couldn't cope when she saw a monster take so many lives and she not being able to do anything to stop it...
Nitro: *continues to wail and cry, and scornfully looks at Nitra with anger* You have no fucking idea, what happened to her. He burnt her to a fucking crisp.
Nitra: *benevolently soothes Nitro* I know that you are conflicted upon what had happened, I'd be too. However, when it came to a position in which she herself couldn't handle, then she wouldn't have a second thought about dying...
Nitro: *stops crying and looks up at Nitra*
Nitra: *strokes her* There, there... Be calm...
Nitro: *calms down a little* R-right....
Arthur: *smiles* Looks like you've calmed down, Nitro.
Nitro: *smiles back* Well, yeah a little... I was still startled about that...
Arthur: *laughs* Don't worry...
Nitra: We all would...
Nitro: Yeah...
Arthur: *turns to Nitra* Alright, daughter. Let's do what we came here to do....!
Nitra: *realizes* That's right!
Nitro: *confused* W-wait, what are you here for, again?
Nitra: *giggles* Take a guess.
Nitro: *still confused* No seriously, I don't know!!
Arthur: *laughs whilst talking* You really don't know, you moron! *stops laughing* We came here to fight the lead cause to all this destruction! *says this whilst pointing at exactly that*
Nitro: *shocked* HUH!? SERIOUSLY!?
Nitra: Why yes. Why else would we be here for?
Nitro: I-I don't know! But I didn't expect you guys to want to fight him! You both could die in the process of fighting him! It's suicidal!
Arthur: Nitro...
Nitro: Y-yes, dad?
Arthur: *plays with her hair* Now when was there a time Nitra and let alone ME found something incredibly difficult for ourselves?
Nitro: *conflicted* I-i don't know! I haven't lived for that long to know that, old man!
Arthur: *laughs* Well let me tell you, never!
*looks back to Nitra* Now then, let's go and beat the living hell out of this demon!
Nitra: *giggles* Yes, let's go.
Nitro: Wait, guys!
both Nitra and Arthur at the same time: Hm...?
Nitro: *sighs* Don't die on me, alright?
Arthur: *laughs and pats Nitro's head* Don't worry, we won't...
At that moment, both Nitra and Arthur head to the diabolical creature's coherent position, in order to either chase him out of the area or to kill him, but either way those two choices would result in them ultimately fighting him to the death in the first place. Minutes later, they are standing 9 meters behind the figure waiting for him to notice them. Eventually the villain feels their presence and he turns only to see them filled with rage and detest. The atmosphere upon them meeting each other was one that reeked death, suspicion and hatred...
???: *scratches his ear* So you are the last of the vermin of this 'utopia', eh? *tilts his head to the right* Well if you were able to get to my location let alone withstand the destruction I have caused in the area, then that tells me that you are possibly this very planet's finest warriors.
Nitra: ...
Arthur: Well if not, we wouldn't even be here now would we...
???: *yawns* (Ah, I'm bored)...Well since you are the only ones then I suggest we should fight...
Nitra: Hmph. You know your stuff, huh?
Arthur: *looks toward Nitra* Oi, daughter...
Nitra: Yes, father?
Arthur: When it comes to fighting him, we have to fight strategically, because his moves are almost unpredictable. Don't get too reckless...
Nitra: Heh! I should be saying that to you...
Arthur: *turns back to the villain* Now then, we shall begin...
???: *smirks* Yes indeed, primitive.
The fight begins with both Nitra and Arthur charging right at the ominous figure at light speed right in front of him as they launch their fists right at him. The figure stood there and endured the damage that they applied. The heroes, acknowledging that their attacks were nullified by their opponents, had resulted in backing away in order to come up with more countermeasures. Eventually, they do come up with more ideas in the battle at hand as a result of them 'sparring' with him later on, both testing their magic abilities on him. However, all that had changed when the villainous figure anticipated in not only their attacks but also their tactics, furthermore he gets even more serious.
And as a result of him being in that state where he can anticipate his opponents' moves, said opponents had to result in getting serious as well. The battle continues on, as both sides are making calculating yet powerful strikes to weaken the enemy, hell young Nitra, in a given situation, was able to cut the titan's ear off, leaving it cut off as a result. All seems well and awarding for both heroes, as if the Goddess of Victory smiled upon their faces, but then again, She pitied them also, as the villain was able to get them in a 'corner' that seemed inescapable for any normal man.
Both heroes were bloody, down to the bone in front of chaos itself as their faces that once resembled hope turned to despair and hatred. Infuriated, they are for letting such a thing to happen to them, right before their inevitable deaths. One was skewered by the claws of chaos from the naves to the chaps and the other was burnt by the pride-shattering, man-breaking flames of hell. It was a terrible sight, and what makes it worse is that the little girl came back only to see the end result. She walked and walked through 'hell above hell' witnessing all the terrible happenings in the area, compensating that there wasn't a single way to fight or escape from this villainous creature. There wasn't a way... She walked even further to then find both dead in the arms of the demon one dripping plenty of blood and the other with his skin charred, chipping off ever so slightly. She then stopped in awe trying to deduce everything that had just happened and right after that very moment she stops, HE noticed her...
???: *he turns* Hm...?
Nitro: *shedding tears, whilst appearing visibly distraught*
???: *leans his head sideways* (Ah, so there was still someone alive of the bunch and not only that, they seem to be related to the maiden and the knight, whom I killed. *looks directly at her eyes* That girl has the eyes of a woman in despair and at a fit of rage but then again the eyes of a warrior, who would crush anyone who'd hurt their own! Well sadly, she is just a child, but that spirit alone far surpasses the alternative...) Interesting....
From that very moment in time the villain gave Nitro such a menacing evil smile that even the devil would fear. She then, while trembling, speaks to the monster.
Nitro: Why...
???: *stops smiling* ...
Nitro: *angry* Why would you do something like this...! To... to innocent people! WHY?! What gave you the reason to kill so many people!? Was it for your self-esteem, because of pride!?
???: *laughs*
Nitro: HUH! What's so funny?! You killed students, teachers and knights of this magic school and you laugh!? And then... You kill my father and sis sis... and laugh... Haven't you any self- no, mutual respect for anyone, YOU MORON!
???: *laughs a little more and then crouches down to her* Little girl... I don't think you should go asking those questions, when you won't expect an answer...
Nitro: *conflicted* Really?! YOU are in no position to question MY questioning of the matter.
???: ....(Damn, why are humans so nosy.... I understand her hassle, but can't a man like me just PROTECT himself... I had no other choice...) *some silence*...Tell you what human, I have a deal for you...
Nitro: *annoyed* (In my position, anyone would ignore anything you say! However, since I am feeling a lot of mixed emotions... so be it....) What?
???: *smirks then crosses his arms* Okay, I'll tell you... You and I will meet again in order to fulfill this deal, but in the mean time I'll give you three years to prepare yourself for that time...
Nitro: *annoyed and confused* ...Why three years...?
???: By that time you should be able to handle what you are going to participate, since you seem to have even more potential then these monkeys...
Nitro: E-eh...?! (Participate? Am I being registered to some tournament or something...?) And if I don't cooperate?
???: Heh you need not worry, I won't do anything to you - for I pity your existence... However, this proves to me you haven't the determination to carry out a task. You'll be no different than the ones I disposed of here... You understand, right?
Nitro: (H-huh!? Oh well, I can't go against anything just yet, I'll just try to play along...) Yes....
???: Good... Now I'll be going now...
Nitro: *shocked* You're leaving...?
???: *confused* Why yes! I finished with this planet, I have to go elsewhere....*prepares to fly off by spreading his wind-piercing wings*
Nitro: W-wait!
???: *stops* Hm?
Nitro: Can I ask one thing of you...?
???: Hmm, sure. I have nothing else better to do...
Nitro: Who are you...? What is your name? What do people in YOUR world call you?
???: *turns to face her* ....
*silence for a few seconds*
???: Fine I'll tell you...
Nitro: ...!
???: You'll know me as, Fourth Demon King, Ares...!
Nitro: *visibly astonished* Demon King...?
*distant drifting noises from what seems to be a red car*
Sophia: *yelling from her car* Nitro!
*The treacherous demon was alerted by her yell and looked over at her direction scornfully. Nitro did a similar action, however it was more of a worried or concerned look.*
Demon king: *turns back to Nitro* Hm, looks like I'll take my leave now, human.
Nitro: *looks back at the demon king with an unsurprised look* ....
Demon king: Remember in three years time, we'll meet here, alright?
Nitro: *glares at him angrily* Fuck off.
Demon king: *laughs* You better not forget....
*The Demon King spreads his wings out and flies straight out of the earth's surface, as Nitro looks up worryingly, trying to deduce every bit of the situation. She then turns over to Sophia as she notices that she was heading towards her instantaneously.*
Sophia: *worried* N-nitrooo! Are you alright, my child? Did that monstrous fiend hurt you...?
Nitro: ....
Sophia: *a little annoyed in her tone* Come on Nitro, stop screwing with me!! Can you answer my question, please!?
Nitro: *sighs* No... he didn't hurt me, mother...
Sophia: *even more annoyed* W-well then, what the hell was he talking to you about?! What kind of conversation were you having with that devil?!
Nitro: W-well, it was nothing too much to be honest....
Sophia: Y-yes?! So what was it?!
Nitro: He was talking about how I should meet him here in this exact location, let alone this spot, three years from now... I don't know why, but he wants me to...
Sophia: W-well then, in that sense, we are stuck! That's no good....!
Nitro: Yeah....
Sophia: *pacing* By the way, I witnessed Nitra and Arthur leave the house to check if you were ok. Well you being alive and WELL, already answers that question, however.....
Nitro: ...
Sophia: Where are they? Are they alive? *panicking* Did they run somewhere?! Where are they?!
Nitro: *hesitative* T-they... are not...
Sophia: *concerned* They're not what?! Speak Nitro, speak!
Nitro: *cries a little* ...They're not here, mother!
Sophia: ....!
Nitro: They died, trying to fend against the being that brought terror upon this very school! And... all I could do was stand there... observing the utter man slaughter that happened, before my eyes!
Sophia: *holds her mouth in shock whilst imagining how the fight would've went down.* ....
Nitro: *shaking* I....I....I couldn't do ANYTHING! *punches the ground, creating a fairly sized hole*
*Some tears trickle down Sophia's face but despite that, she still speaks to Nitro with a straight face...*
Sophia: Listen, daughter... When someone close to you dies, it would inevitably be a sad event, however, ones who have died protecting the lives of others deserve to have their souls purified 100 times over!
Nitro: *sniffles and wipes her tears* ...
Sophia: You see daughter, what your father and sister did, was possibly the greatest thing they would've done, and I'm happy about that. Although I'm not happy that they've died, I'm happy that they died trying to protect you and all of us...
Nitro: *cheers up* You know what, mom. I think what you said was pretty acurate. Sis sis and father did do their best to protect us, and I will be grateful for that, despite feeling down about them dying...
Sophia: ...
Nitro: *smiles* However, I feel happy... because at least they get to rest easy...
Sophia: *smiles* Yes, well said daughter...
Nitro: Now then, let's get back on track, in terms of the 'Demon King' situation...
Sophia: *attentive* R-right! (The Demon King? I guess that's that devil's name...)
Nitro: The Demon King, after having destroyed this school left. However before he'd left, he made sure that I was aware that we are to meet each other here in this area, three years from now...
Sophia: *puzzled* Three years.... why three years, specifically....?
Nitro: *also confused* Hm... Maybe he wants me to train myself before I meet him...
Sophia: Train!? Wait, would that probably mean, he wants you to fight him!?
Nitro: Well that was the first thing that crossed my mind when I brought up about this topic. Not only that, why else would a guy like him give someone three years before meeting them again...?
Sophia: N-nitro, that's not the point here! Carrying out an act such as this one would cost your life! I don't want another one of my family, let alone my only daughter to die by the hands of that fiend! You should've refused!
Nitro: *mutters* But, if I had refused the request....
Sophia: Well?! What are you muttering about?!
Nitro: N-nothing! However, mother. I'm not refusing.
Sophia: *shocked* W-wait you're actually going with this!
Nitro: Yes, I am... For as long as I have lived, I had never turned down anyone's request, no matter how bad, mundane or pointless it was. I plan to keep it that way...
Sophia: Nitro, you're only seven! You have better things to do in your lif-
Nitro: *cuts in* I know, mother! But this requ- no, 'challenge' I was given, is not one I'll be turning down! *stomps her foot down on the nearest rubble* I'll face it like a 'man'!
Sophia: *so shocked that she struggles to say a word* N-nitro....(I am proud of your resilience, however sometimes you need to tone down a little... *smiles* But in this case, I can't stop you now...)
Nitro: So what will it be, mother...
