The next day dawned with a sense of anticipation that hung in the air like a delicate mist. Andromeda, having put the previous night's spectral encounter behind her, was poised to immerse herself in the grand event of the day: the tea party hosted by the Duchess.
In her usual composed manner, Andromeda began her day just like past days. She had breakfast with her parents and showed fake concerns about her sister Delphine, whose existence she wanted to forget she was even there but of course her mother didn't forget to remind her. She also had to fake concern, looking sad and showing that she wished to meet her but thankfully, her mother told her that it would be better if they didn't meet for now. She only hoped that Delphine wouldn't join today's event.
