Tea time was tense, to say the least. Andromeda made small talk, trying to maintain some semblance of civility. She couldn't come off as standoffish, even though she couldn't be bothered with what Delphine wanted to do.
"So, Delphine, how are your studies going?" Andromeda asked, her tone sweet but insincere.
"Fine," Delphine muttered, barely looking up from her tea. Eglnatine gazed at the princess and tried to maintain her composure. Though she had talked a lot regarding this, it seems the princess just didn't want to even be polite with her older sister.
"Just fine? That's good to hear. I'm sure you're doing your best," Andromeda replied, forcing a lovely smile.
