Chereads / The Legend of the Demoniac Hunter / Chapter 2 - The First Kingdom

Chapter 2 - The First Kingdom

Mesopotamia, Ancient Babylon, Babylonian city ruins, unified border of the Southern Levant with central Babylon.

Sounds of air explosions being released were heard, the atmosphere being distorted by the unknown pressure every second.

Suddenly, two beings stand out in the middle of the devastated field, where both were fighting.

One of the Beings, attacked in a bestial way, like an uncontrolled beast.

The Other being, had movements so fast and precise that it was difficult to distinguish its identity, however, taking into account its size and stature, as well as physical form, it was probably a human.

The fierce Being, revealed himself as a legendary Creature, while in the shadows, such a creature, shadowed by the darkness of the night and the raised smoke screen, spit torrents of flames of fire at the other humanoid being, who, revealed as a true human being.

These were Belmesh, and the Dragon that had formerly attacked Babylon.

Swiveling his left arm vertically, Belmesh supersonically moves his right leg at an oblique angle, whereupon, leaping into the air above, he delivers his attack:

With the Oblique Angle combined with the vertical of his limbs, Belmesh lands a physical blow combo while his body was positioned at an oblique angle, similar to the triangular shape of a pyramid, thus delivering an Ax Kick to the Dragon's skull while taking advantage of his oblique angle to simultaneously deliver a blow with the front of the Forearm right in the Dragon's stomach.

Through that blow, Belmesh created an impact so strong that it formed tremendous shock pressure, thus creating an air explosion, shattering the region's soil into pieces and countless gigantic Craters.

Shot away, the Dragon spurted blood from its scales, however, the Dragon lands on the border of the Levant with Anatolia, and so, using its Tail, shatters several mountains and shoots them against the direction where the Mesopotamian border of the unified Southern Levant is located.

But, Belmesh, his eyes glowing red, unleashes a sequence of Basic Punches, which shatters the mountains to pieces.

That's when, suddenly, the Dragon found an opening in Belmesh's defense when he was destroying the last mountain, and surreptitiously shot a blast of fiery flames from his mouth, hitting Belmesh at close range.

Charred, Belmesh, with his eyes losing their red glow, observes that his body is completely burned, and his skin destroyed, and so, as a last effort, Belmesh gathers all the power contained in the energy that his eyes emanated and that spread throughout his body, and coats himself in that energy, where a Red Energy Armor is formed.

With the Armor, Belmesh recomposes himself, and while he does not feel the deadly effects of his charred body, he creates for himself a Sword of reddish energy, where, thus, he leaves for the Dragon.

At tremendous speed, Belmesh crosses the distance between the Dragon and himself in less than 1 millisecond, where he grabs the Dragon, holds it by the tail, and swings it, crushing it into the mountains.

The Dragon, however, pierces Belmesh's chest with thorny blades that emerge from its scales, causing Belmesh to spit Blood and fall to the ground, half-dead and with his Armor undone.

Suddenly, from the sky, an explosion of light emerges, which, involving Belmesh, regenerates him, restoring his body.

Even poisoned because of the excess of physical blows he received from the Dragon, Belmesh Grabs the Dragon by the neck, and then, the Dragon Roars, exploding the surrounding environment with the shock pressure, burying the two in the debris of geological structures, such as Mountains, rocks, etc.

The Dragon emerges from the wreckage, where Belmesh appears erasing the wreckage with crimson energy, and then Belmesh, seeing that they both possess limitless stamina, decides to up the game.

Focusing his Crimson Energy on his hands, Belmesh fires a blast of energy that pierces the Dragon's Skull, causing the Dragon to spit blood and be torn apart by the blast.

Amidst the environment being erased by the explosion, Belmesh sees the Dragon emerge from the explosion as it ceases, and the Dragon, even now, with its wings torn off and pulverized, decides to attack.

The Dragon, reciting an ancient language, surprises Belmesh, and so the entire Near East begins to deteriorate, with countless regions being erased from the map.

However, Belmesh, draws his ancient sword, and covers it with Red Energy, and bathes it in the blood of the Dragon's wings, thus, the Sword shines, and increases in size.

With a Gigantic Sword, Belmesh goes up, and delivers vertical blows with his sword, but the Dragon dodges, and with a last Roar, the Dragon invokes its Ancestral powers, and assumes its true form:

By Converting from a physical being to a being whose presence emanated blasts of cosmic energy, the Dragon transforms into an entirely different being, formed by darkness and energy, as it was not physical.

Belmesh Smiles, and says:

"So that's it huh...", recognizing that type of being, Belmesh goes up, where with his sword, he makes a frontal cut, thus tearing the mystical tissue of the unknown Creature in an explosion of Energy, which, when expanding, retrogrades all space and time, making the entire Planet Earth return to the state of the beginning of the fight.

However, the Creature survives, revealing its appearance:

It had no shape or body, only a cluster of red and dark stars was recognizable, which aligned formed a stereotype of a humanoid shape.

"What the hell is that?", asked Belmesh, realizing that that being was beyond human comprehension.

However, the Roaring Creature, thus starting to emit an absurdly strong aura of energy, which expands more and more, looking like it was going to explode.

Knowing the consequence of the explosion, Belmesh throws himself on top of the creature, and grabs it by the neck, shouting:

"Come on, big boy, let's get into this together...", with that, Belmesh self-explodes in energy, where at the exact moment that happens the Creature erupts in explosion, forming two distinct implosions that surround the planet earth.

After the larger implosion ceases, it is revealed that all the damage had been restored, where the person responsible for restoring the planet Earth to its natural state is revealed, so, this was a brilliant being, formed by light, his facial expressions were humanoid, and beautiful.

The Being, raises Belmesh, completely bloodied and torn apart, and sees that the "Dragon" had been erased from existence, realizing by the simple state of Belmesh, that Belmesh unleashed a Reen-Make on the Creature with all his energy and power, which cost his natural essence.

However, The Being, touches Belmesh's chest, and thus restores him to his original state of life and being, making Belmesh wake up from his apparent death, and see that his body was regenerated.

"The Return is at hand, but 'He' is with you, Belmesh.

May the Spirit of the Lord accompany you on your journey.", mysteriously declared the Being, seeming to know Belmesh. "

"Huh,?!", Confused, Belmesh looks at him perplexed, and upon recognizing such a figure, says:

"Impossible....You are.....", before completing his speech, Belmesh suddenly blacks out, and the Being disappears.

4 weeks later:

The Return Is At Hand, But "It" Is With You, Belmesh.

When Waking up, Belmesh finds himself in a Dungeon, but when he realizes, he was not in Mesopotamia, he was sure of that.

"You are very lucky to be alive, young man.", an unknown voice spoke.

"Who are you?", Questioned Belmesh, seriously.

"I am Drakonídas, and you are on my Earth, my dear.", He spoke, revealing himself to be a man with light skin, brown eyes and black hair, bearded and with armor.

"Welcome to Greece, my friend.", Said the man smiling.

"This.....is the city of Minos.", the man declared seriously.
