"The symbol of the sun god on the map?" Moland repeated. "Are you really sure this place is related to it, Young lady? Do you think it has any significance?"
"Yes, I'm certain," Genevieve said. "I remember a red sun symbol on the map we brought from the village library yesterday. I want to know its meaning and why it's still in use."
"It seems dangerous to explore, Young lady Genevieve," Moland said. "Perhaps this village uses it as a form of reverence? We don't know what might happen if you disturb it."
"I don't care," Genevieve said. "I just want to find out the truth about this village and this forest. I want to go home."
Genevieve insisted on going to the forest, despite the shadowy figures trying to dissuade her. She even urged Moland to accompany her if he was genuinely worried.
"I will go with you, Young lady Genevieve," Moland reluctantly offered. "But I hope you'll be careful."
"Thank you, Moland," Genevieve said.
