Chapter 61 - [Vol.2] Chapter 54: To ignore, or not to ignore. Wait, don't tell me that...

My eyes widened as the transfer student leaned forward, suddenly pulling me by the necktie, closing in the distance between us.

She then made an outlandish proposition that no one in this room ever saw coming.

Putting a perfect smile on her face, she opened her mouth and spoke.

"Yukiya Saito. Be mine."

She told me, full of confidence, with a smile I could tell was fake by how her smile doesn't quite reach her eyes.

"Eh!~"

The whole room gasped in shock. I too was stunned for a second by the transferee's sudden proposition.

From everyone's perspective, an ojou-sam that came out of nowhere just suddenly gave me an offer to become her possession. Well, I said offer but it was more of a demand than anything.

At this exact moment, two imaginary floating windows popped up in front of me.

There are two options:

> [To Interact] or

> [To Ignore]

Thinking of how to react, I quickly regain my composure and gave my reply.

With a serious expression on my face, with a stern and unwavering tone to my voice, I answered.

"I refuse."

I flat-out rejected her offer.

As the man full of mysteries, being the mysterious quiet person in the class, I chose the option [To Ignore] in order to stay lowkey.

Shiori-senpai had a silent sigh of relief, hearing my answer, as she watch peeping through the back door silently like a spy.

Even a person as clueless as I am, I too know the influence of the surname "Tamami". Being a person of high class, she stands out too much.

'If I ever try to associate myself with an ojou-sama like her, I'll surely stand out.'

I thought to myself, thinking I should avoid standing out like the quiet and mysterious character that I am. [He's already standing out.]

Unsurprised, the transfer student just accepted my reply with no retaliation or asked why I declined whatsoever.

"Hm, I see..."

She just calmly reacted, accepting my rejection to her offer, as if the offer she just made was something trivial.

Aria Tamami-san's smile fades, at the same time reacting as though her proposition was just a trivial matter. She proceeded to move on, shifting her gaze to the person sitting in front of me.

"You there, move."

She ordered, directly pointing her gaze of intimidation to the person seated in front of me, indicating for him to go seat somewhere else.

Though the guy was reluctant to agree, in the end he happily complied knowing her background, not wanting to have any trouble with Aria-san, a Tamami.

Initially, Aria would have wanted to be seated at the desk beside Yukiya (aka Mocha's desk). However, her desire to be seated at a desk beside the window was present as well.

Actually, for a brief moment, before Yukiya gave out his response, Aria glanced at Mocha for a split second, which sent chills down Mocha's spine as they made eye contact, as if a predator just found her prey.

After the guy sitting in front of me left, leaving the desk vacant, Aria proceeded to let herself be seated.

Having this somewhat disappointed expression on her face, that didn't let show, all I could see now is her back turn against me as she properly sat at the desk in front of mine.

Sitting in front of me, with her back turned, she mumbled under her breath.

"...Idiot"

She mumbled silently, only she alone could hear.

Meanwhile, Mocha-san's perspective, seeing how everything unfolds.

'What the hell just happened...!?'

She thought to herself, the same thoughts as everyone present in the room that witnessed what just occurred.

Seeing that Aria-san, the new transfer student and her Master (Yukiya Saito/me) acting normally after, as if the conversation they had just now never even happened.

The class proceeded normally, glossing over our conversation, leaving everyone questioning. 'What was all that about?'

Mocha-san has still yet to fully recovered from my connection with Haruka-san, the famous idol, and now there's a rich girl, an upper-class billionaire at that who just happens to suddenly appear, demanding for her master to become her property.

Mocha-san was sent into a panic, as she assessed the flow of the situation.

'Why is there a new girl already?'

Usually, the sudden addition of a new love rival meant either two things; One, the plot is going stale, and second, the series is coming to an end.

'However, it's barely even a week since I came to this school. But why is there a new love rival already?!'

Mocha-san thought to herself, with knowledge of how the tropes work in the manga industry.

'Don't tell me that this series is ending already?! ..Am I that boring of a character?! Are we getting axed?'

She put her hands together, closed her eyes and prayed.

'God, please, please, please give me a sign that says this series isn't ending soon.'

Desperate to know what was going on in her life, she asked the heavens to give her an oracle to explain what is happening right now exactly?

Shifting her gaze around, desperately looking for a sign, her eyes ended up looking to the right, feeling some sort of intense pressure coming from the back door of the classroom.

There, she saw a girl with black hair and blue eyes, staring directly at her with this somewhat passionate(?) gaze that screams "Maiden in Love".

'Eep! W, who's that!? I..Is she looking at me?!'

Mocha-san was shocked to find a girl peeping from the glass panel of the door, staring at her with such a passionate gaze.

But then she quickly realizes that, 'No, wait! Rather than looking at me, it's as if she's looking past me. Wait, she's actually looking at Master Yukiya-kun!'

Mocha-san realized that the way the peeping girl stared at her, was more like she was seeing through her, looking at the person behind which is her master Yukiya Saito.

Noticing the risk banned pinned on her arm, Mocha-san had realized the identity of the spying girl.

'That risk band ...Isn't that the student council president?'

'The famous idol Haruka, the school's student council president, and an Ojou-sama that transfers out of nowhere...'

Mocha-san came to an epiphany,

'T-This can't be... Don't tell me that I'm part of Harem?! NOOOOOO!'

[This is the moment Mocha-san realized, she's not in a shojo genre.]
