GREGOR'S FLASHBACK ⚡🔙
I entered the room, angry. I dropped my school bag on the floor and then laid down on my bed.
"What is it, Gregor?"
Phillip asked as he came to sit beside me.
"Mandy..."
"...I thought you said you would wait until after exams? Did she turn you down?"
"No, she didn't. Mandy never changed; she's a goat in sheep's clothing. That's all!!!"
I replied as I sat up to face the already speechless Phillip.
"She is trying to sabotage Savannah."
"Really? How did you know? I thought they were friends. How come?"
These questions were much.
"Well, I thought so too, but you know Mandy, right?"
He nodded, then finally replied,
"Then what is your business? It is not you she's trying to sabotage; it's Savannah. If she wants to sabotage her, she should go ahead, it is not a big deal."
I turned to face him once more with my eyes wide open.
"It isn't fair; she would lose her scholarship for something she knows nothing about."
I stated.
That was really unfair for Savannah. She didn't deserve any harsh treatment.
"So, Gregor, why are you concerned? Do you like Savannah?"
I rolled my eyes at that question.
"Eww, no. She isn't my type, and she's poor. I don't like Savannah; I just feel sorry for the poor girl."
Phillip stared at me for a minute before talking.
"Are you sure? The boys and I noticed that you have been all over her."
"No, I haven't. I was just picking on her, that's all."
"Are you sure?"
I nodded.
"So, what are you going to do?"
This time Phillip was serious; I could see the keenness in his eyes.
"Well..."

"What is the problem, Gregor?"
The invigilator said as she walked to me.
I sighed and started while pulling the answers to the exam out of my booklet.
"I found this in my booklet."
I said as I handed it over to her, and her eyes widened as she saw the content.
"Oh my God, how did this get there?"
She asked puzzled.
"You shouldn't ask me, I should be asking you that question. Aren't you supposed to check before distributing the answer booklet, or are you teachers trying to set me up so my dad would donate big again?"
I said rudely. All this long talk for Savannah.
I didn't know why, but I prayed she appreciated my effort later.
I looked at Savannah and gulped; she was surprised and scared.
"Don't be scared, baby girl, I got you."
I whispered to Savannah as I stared at the already panicking invigilator
OMG
"I am sorry, Gregor. Stop creating a scene here."
"Well, clearly someone is trying to sabotage me."
"I am so sorry, this will never happen again."
She was literally begging.
"It is fine, ma. No prob."
I placed my hand on my chest to show her there wasn't any problem. She wasn't at fault, but I preferred she lost her job to Savannah leaving the school.
But
No one is leaving, not the teacher nor Savannah.
It is all Mandy's fault.
The teacher nodded as she walked back to the front.
I turned to look at Phillip, then at Savannah, who was still surprised, and whispered with a smirk,
"Chillax."
"What happened now must end here. I don't want to hear it anywhere else, ok?"
The teacher stated as she rubbed her forehead.
"Yes, ma'am."
She nodded slowly, and then the bell rang.
"Start, guys."
