Chapter 1
SAVANNAH'S POV
It was my first time being alone on my own. I have always had my family and friends with me and finally I had to venture out
Well, there is always a first time to everything
I quickly checked my phone to see if I was going on the right path, but my screen's brightness was so low.
"Shss, I forgot to turn this brightness when I was in the car"
I looked around to see if there was any shade for me to go under, so I could see clearly. This school was certainly a really big one and
a beautiful one at that. I struggled to check my phone in the sun.
The sun was so bright that it was blinding my eyes.
Right time to wear sunshades

Thankfully, I brought one
As I quickly reached out to the side of my bag to get it, I mistakenly bumped into a guy, causing his belongings to crash to the
floor.
"I am so so sorry"
I said, as I bent to pick up some stuff, my hands could reach
" Next time watch where you are going "
He said as he snatched his things, I managed to pick them up from my hands and walked away
"Rude much"
I muttered to myself as I finally took out my sunshades.
Mmm, much better
I glanced at my phone, it was pretty useless. I still couldn't see anything
I slowly turned it on and tried turning on the brightness without looking at it
"Phew, finally "
I sighed as I finally turned on the brightness
I looked at the map and I was almost close to my hostel
Good riddance
I quickly grabbed my luggage and off I went
I got to the room I was assigned to and mehn , it was so big. Almost bigger than our entire house
I quietly dropped my stuff in a vacant space and gazed at the whole room, which was like a paradise on earth and then again, while
staring, I bumped into someone
"Not again"
I muttered as I looked shyly at the person I had bumped into.
Alas, it was the same guy from earlier.
"Oh my God, you again? "
He asked as he placed his hands on his temple in disgust.

I said as I repositioned my glasses well and faked a smile.
" What are you doing here? "
He asked as he pulled his jacket off.

"Or are you the new cleaner? Good riddance, the boys haven't got time to clean "
He said with a corky smile,
"C-leaner? Oh no, you are mistakenly. I am a new student and this is my room"
"Whoaaaa"
Two guys yelled as they came into the room.
"A female roommate? That has never been done"
One said
"How did you know this was your room? "
The arrogant guy asked rudely,
"Well, the map says "
I said as I showed my phone
"Lemme see"
He said as he snatched my phone while the other guys rushed to see
"How do you unlock this? "
He said as he stared at the back of my phone
"Give it back"
I yelled as I tried to snatch my phone back but he just raised it higher while I tiptoed to get it

The other guys squealed
"Give me back my phone"
I demanded
"No , Tell me the password"
" Why?"
"Just say let's verify if this is really your room, 'cause girl, you are in the boys' hostel "
He said as he scratched the corner of his eyes .
" Boys' hostel? "
I panicked
"Yeah, So...Password? "
"Farts ... "
I stated my password, emphasizing' sss'

" That's my password "
I said with a silly smile.
So embarrassing

One of the other guys said with disgust written all over his face.
He quickly typed FARTS while I told him it was with triple's', my phone got unlocked and the map greeted our faces

He said as he pointed to the part of the map where it was clearly written

"Can't you read maps? "
He asked as he handed me my phone.
This was so embarrassing.
" I am sorry "
I managed to mutter

"Guess you are just dumb"
He said as he sat on a bed while I shamefully left the room.

First day of school and I was already having a bad day.
