Chapter 76 - The Hidden Society

As Hino wakes up, he starts to think about the vision he saw while he was unconscious. He knows that he recognized the place he saw and is sure it's the secret society's headquarters.

However, he is aware that they need evidence that the place he saw is actually the headquarters.

There is a possibility that the vision could be a false memory or a hallucination of sorts, so Hino knows that they need to gather evidence to ensure that what he saw was accurate and to verify the location of the headquarters.

As Hino wakes up, he looks around the area he is in. He realizes that he is in a place he has never seen before and he questions why he is there in the first place.

He turns to look at Shizuru and asks her, "Who was the kid? What was he doing here? Tell me what happened to me the whole day?"

Shizuru turns to Hino and explains that the kid was the nephew of the previous Shrine Maiden and he had been following her around all day. She informs him that he had just been attacked by one of the spiritual beings in the city.

Shizuru explains toHino that he himself was attacked by a spiritual being and that the Shrine Maiden (Miko) saved him from the attack.

"You we're astrally attacked and the Shrine maiden saved you, and I need to be thankful for her courage for doing that, we need to thank her."

She tells him that he can be thankful for the Shrine Maiden's courage and that he should be careful while in the city. Hino is relieved to hear that the Shrine Maiden saved him and he thanks Shizuru for watching over and protecting him while he was unconscious.

Hino is thankful to the Miko for saving him, but he is also curious as to how she saved him. He asks Shizuru about how exactly the Miko protected him from the astral attack.

Hino is intrigued to learn more about the ritual that the Shrine Maiden attempted in order to protect him from the astral attack. He asks Shizuru to explain more about the ritual and what it entailed. Shizuru informs Hino that the Shrine Maiden attempted a ritual of cleansing the place where Hino was attacked and attempted to cast out the spiritual being.

However, it seems that the being was too powerful for the Shrine Maiden to handle and she paid the ultimate price. Hino is glad to be alive and is grateful for the Shrine Maiden's selfless act of courage.

Hino is at a loss for words and is silent as he tries to process the loss of the Shrine Maiden. He is deeply saddened by the news and is also conflicted by the thoughts of this whole situation.

He is grateful to the Shrine Maiden for saving his life, but he is also confused as to why the Shrine Maiden had to lose her life protecting him.

Hino is both moved by the selfless act and saddened by the tragedy. He sits in silence, mourning the Shrine Maiden, while trying to come to terms with everything that has happened.

Hino is racked with feelings of guilt and sadness, wondering if there was anything he could have done to prevent the Shrine Maiden from dying. He is filled with questions and uncertainty about how he could have stopped this tragedy from happening. He is also unsure of what to do next, whether he should continue with the task of finding the secret society's headquarters or if he should give up and leave things as they are.

He is filled with so many emotions, both physical and mental, and tries to process everything that has happened to him, and also to the Shrine Maiden.

The Shrine Maiden told Hino and Shizuru that they will be responsible for taking care of the kid who was following Shizuru all day. Hino and Shizuru both nod in agreement and decide to take up the responsibility along with their quest to find the secret society's headquarters.

The two get in the car, with Shizuru at the wheel and Hino as her copilot.

Hino suggests some ideas for infiltrating the secret society's headquarters, considering he has witnessed the headquarters first-hand.

Shizuru agrees and the two drive off to gather intel and search for potential infiltration pathways.

Hino and Shizuru spent the whole day searching high and low for any clues about the secret society's headquarters. Hino couldn't find any ads with symbols related to the headquarters, which made him theorize that some brands might be connected to the secret society.

As the day comes to an end, the two decide to go home and rest. Hino is unsure if he should continue researching on his computer or if he should spend some quality time with Shizuru today.

But no matter which decision he makes, he feels like he's made some progress and is getting closer to the truth.

Hino is on his computer trying to research and digging up as much information as he can about the secret society. He is using the dark web to make contact with people who might have some information that could help him uncover the truth.

He is determined to find out more about the secret society and what they are doing. He takes the help of his friend from the dark web to gain some insight.

Hino is determined to find the truth, no matter what.

Hino's friend's research has led to many conclusions and random IP addresses.

When Hino searches the IP addresses on Google Maps, he finds many locations that seem to be empty, some containing plants, trees, or grass fields, while others might even have some random buildings with various advertisements.

Hino feels frustrated by the lack of any useful information, and wonders if there is any way to make sense of the random IP addresses and find something more concrete.

He continues to rely on his computer research and the help of his friend from the dark web to uncover the truth about the secret society.

Hino is frustrated with the findings of his friend's research and exclaims to Shizuru, "This is bullshit Shizuru! I can't find anything!" He takes a minute to process his friend's conclusion and then decides that the Pentagon or the CIA must be behind the cover-up of the secret society's headquarters.

Hino chats with his friends and comes to the conclusion that the government agencies are trying to hide the true location of the secret society's headquarters.

He is more determined than ever to uncover the truth.
