Aza'zel breathed heavily as he felt the blood essence invigorating his body. This was his first taste of a supernatural blood essence directly without the filtering of the formation in the Nameless Valley.
As the density of the source energy in the creature's body declined, it didn't leave its body.
Instead, it was retreating into the energy core inside its body, and Aza'zel was close enough to the creature to sense these changes. He didn't know much about supernatural beasts and their energy cores, but he knew that this energy was comparable to regular energy crystals from the mine.
It was hard to tell which of them was better, but if it were up to him, he would have used the energy crystals as hard currency and used beast cores for nourishment purposes, especially since their evolution path shares some commonality with the humans.
From their levels to the grades of their genetic cores, they're all inherently similar to one another.
