Luke! who was calmly chewing down the fruits immediately startled and drown himself within the waist length river. Gets his composure back. Came out of river and enters inside the cave but foul stinking smell slapped on his brain waves.
He immediately jumped back out of the cave but seeing the sparking red, brown, violet eyes of lurking shadows in the dense wood, packed with vicious, bloodthirsty vibes, beyond of river, showing their presence for a sec then hide.
Seeing such, a chill ran down in his spine as well a waking shiver brought him back to his senses. He rushes back inside the cave while covering his nose by right hand, sits down in a corner.
Luke felt like vomiting but kept itself under control for sometime. All the while browsing through the continuous notification of system.
"Ah! I just remembered, Pesky said that before, that it's going to upgrade or something during in my meditation. Hmm! So it was upgrading, no wonder it didn't buzz at all. Huh! well, Unh! I can't concentrate in this foul smell. I will wait for this smell to go away, might as well take a nap."
Luke! after thinking of napping looked back in distance, some grawl were going on somewhere, while some flickering eye lights were still focused towards the Cave. He steadied himself then crawl within a corner, shut his eyes. Soon a sleeping snore can be hear within the cave.
He didn't notice but a transparent thin layer of oval size, covers him all throughout the night, as well another layer covering 10 meter wide radius of place, made those creatures vulnerable whenever they touched the threshold and immobile. A legendary feast was celebrated that night but Luke! didn't heard a thing and slept like had never before.
==========In the Morning============
"Woaaaahhh! It feels awesome. I slept for long. Huh!" Looks around, found itself within a pitch gloomy dark space with foul smell, a figure around 2 and half inch tall aimlessly looking around in confusion. Simultaneously, when the first figure was processing it's thoughts and trying to connect with its newfound environment, another figure of same heights but slight difference warp out of nowhere.
"Hun! oh! Shush! Shush! Master is in deep sleep, don't bother him." Second figure put its tiny paws on first figures mouth, when first figure was about to burst out in anger, stopped it from waking Luke! from his slumber.
"Master! who's Master? No one is my Master! I'm my Master." Looking at the sleeping silhouette the first figure furrowed its brows showing its disdain, pointing its tiny paws, "You, You can't be serious. How can he be my Master? He doesn't have Godly Bones, nor Celestial Blood, forget about being a child of destiny. No matter how I look at him, He can't be My Master."
"You can't be serious, Greeny! can you? I mean, weren't we supposed to merge with a Destined no Chosen one, from A Martial World. How the hell I ended up with you here and wait what's with this place? Why can't I scan this world. Does this world's law interfering, no that can't be possible cuz I'm one of the supreme, how can a meager world law will, interfere. Huh!."
While first figures continued bombardment of questions, second figure lazily sit down next to Luke's back facing the cave entrance.
"Seriously Greeny! enough of your bickering. What's happened, already a past, now", second figure looked back at Luke!, "we have to do with this."
Hearing Second figures acceptance of situation, First figure Greeny! resort to its violent nature, it baffled out, "Oh! So you have already submitted yourself to him. Nope, count me out of it. You know Darkin! You were always a pushover, who give up, whenever found itself in a complex dilema. But, But you've forgotten who am I. I'm one of the....."
Before Greeny! harsh out more, the tall figure of approx 6 ft, grumbled and yawned, "Woaaaaah! I slept like never before but....", Luke! turns back and faces the two figures who were materialised some time ago and also added a chilly spice in his sleeping. His face, which was nonchalant, sleepy, has now been contrast of awe and shock. He rubbs his eyes many times even to the point of pinching his cheeks by his own hands.
"Am I hallucinating, no, no, I must be dreaming again. Yes! that's right, I must be dreaming. Hahaha! Yes! No way two humanoid Squirrels with fluffy ears and within colors even I never imagined, could exist. Yes! this is just a dream. Hahaha!" Luke! continuously laughed out. Thinking it's just a dream, which fuels the anger of first figure. She in her anger, ran on her four limbs, from middle of cave to the corner, and jumped on left shoulder of Luke! and immediately bites him.
Momentarily, two things happened. First, The first figure Greeny, a squirrel girl, felt a huge thunder like current of pain all over her body and fell down on cold floor, Stunned!. Second, The pain of getting bitten has been transferred to Luke's brain, to his bit shoulder. His eyes snapped open in shock and reality kicked in. He didn't shout but rubbed the bit part, then looked down to two figures.
"The one who bit me, must be this one seems to be in electric shock. Well this one's hairstyle is quite interesting, sparking, not usual in squirrels and", He caught the half ass breathing Green squirrel and strated examining it. Curiosity crazed him like a hawk has founded its most prized obsession.
"Hun! Hmm! Oh! Aha! Marvelous, it's just So Marvelous. This squirrel is in green from top to bottom but these Red lines from middle of its head, far going back of its tail which then sprung into a woven cotton of mix of dark and red. Then there's this pair of Dark wings on either sides of its buttocks."
"If not There's a circular horn on top of its forehead, although hasn't bloomed yet, just bitsy of nip, showcasing its presence. And last but not least, its Chest covered with Dark fur but so smooth, it feels so warm and alive. Huh! There's a half, green with dark shadow overcast Star, behind its right ear, intersting, very interesting, but what's it doing here off all places."
Luke! examining Greeny! gotten mesmerized by her appearance. Even her Squirrel appearance made him marvel in depth appreciation of her otherworldly beauty. While he was murmuring in between, a strange appearance but quite familiar voice resonates within the uncomfy cave.
"Master! I Darkin! at your service again. Our upgrade was successful. Now you can access new functions. But Master for accessing these new functions you have to accomplish tasks to get System coins for Purchasing, Upgrading,. Unlocking and for others. Master I amply your orders."
Luke! who was in his own world heard the familiar voice, startled momentarily but then again gets his stature back, confused as well astonished by seeing the other squirrel girl bowing down to him on her one knee, showing her utmost loyalty. For full one minute he was speechless, until Darkin! looks up. An excitement poured over him as his usual calm face turned like a malicious joker of a horror movie.
Seeing him like this Darkin! didn't felt anything other than excitement, of her future of uncertainty. Previously everything was fix when she was sent to become a loyal guide of ungroomed prodigy. She was excited but yet worse happened.
She was unexpectedly collided against Greeny or Greeny did it on her own, but luck has it somehow both lost their respective paths, collaged, lost senses and gradually accepted by this world of nowhere, as if fate has it, stumbled upon Luke! and merged with him.
Although both of them have recently have awakened their respective personality but Darkin! seems more logical and while Greeny dwindling in pieces of memories, Darkin! akin to her nature fudgling with system database. All the knowledge were inside her soul, she just winked and all the information were in her grasp.
Luke! Finding it difficult to, how to communicate with a squirrel girl, when she wiggle her tail and turn her ears sideways. Although he felt familiar with the voice, he sense, cautiousness is a necessity. He doesn't approach her directly instead, just over her without any motion,
"So, you're Pesky! aren't ya?" He was puzzled, previously system other than an interface have no physical form, so he raised this question. Although he have his own doubts but the answer he got made him more surprise than he is now.
"No! Master! that was a self replicated persona of us. We don't know how that happened but seems like our personality got mixed and created that system you called Pesky!. Although we were in asleep but once I woke up I looked at the memories of such Pesky's and found out it really helped Master in some occassions while in other it didn't had any authority as well ability to assist Master! cuz borrowed power won't work for long."
"You are well aware of that Master! And for your sprouting questions, I will gladly answer that, We both are the cosmic beings but aren't part of this reality. This is unexpected, but our souls are now bound to you. If you die, we die, you soar high above the sky, our authority will accelerate, and there are others but you need not to worry Master! cuz as of now I Darkin! am yours faithful System of Time. With me around you will never face any time irrelevant or irregularities."
"As for her in your palm, She is Greeny! She is the System of Space. With her you have authority over Space itself, but remember Master even a little spark can burn the forest so does meddling with Space and Time. So beware of Consequences. Now Master I have elaborated everything bubbling inside you. Yes Master I can hear your thoughts. We are connected remember."
