When I wake up the next day, I remember that I am in Gavin's kingdom. Together with it, I remember the warmth of his love. A smile spreads across my face as I stretch out in bed, feeling happy in the morning for a long while.
"Hi, my dear apprentice."
I almost jump out of bed in surprise. Rexford is sitting on my bed, his back against the headboard, while reading a magic book.
"What the hell are you doing in my bed?!" I scold.
"Today, we'll start with the search for the stolen items," he says, ignoring what I just asked — again. "I'm guessing we'll earn a lot from it. However, before that, there is still something that we must do."
I groan in exasperation as I prepare for the day. "Aren't we going to meet Lord Hollay before we leave?"
"That's not important," he says.
I glance around the room and realize that Bryce is absent. "Where is Bryce?" I ask.
"Back to Miss Tiana."
"Why?"
