"Hmmm, Cornelius, I think we need to get up now," I say when after a few hours, Cornelius still has his arms around me.
"I will be surprised if you can still get up," he whispers, his eyes still closed.
He is right on that, at least. Still, I move away from him and slowly sit up. My body is stiff with soreness. I wince from the pain, but gasp when his arms circle my waist and pull me back on the bed.
"No more!" I complain, afraid that he wants to have another round again.
"You're not going anywhere," he murmurs sleepily.
"I need to practice my magic. Also, there are other magic books that I need to read. Moreover..." I say as I try to move away from him. "You have duties to attend to, and they are far more important than the things I have planned for today."
Cornelius groans. Then, reluctantly, he releases me. I sit up again, trying to get familiar with the ache in my body.
