I sit alone on my bed, with the headboard on my back. The party had long been over and my family returned home, including Dave. I cleaned up the apartment and gave my mother all the things she would need in the future—duplicate keys, passwords, and insurance. She said she'll return tomorrow to check up on me.
I feel blessed to have such a mother like her. I feel like I have support here and I can return anytime I want. However, I feel guilty as well. I hope it will not be hard to take care of my body if I will be in a coma. But what if my body dies while I am there? I whisk the thought away. That's one risk I need to accept. Besides, I choose this path and I am sure that if I did not try, at least, I will regret this for the rest of my life.
