We enter the drawing room, and my anticipation is palpable. Gavin Ohira is standing there, dressed in a royal reddish-brown robe. He looks imposing - tall, huge, muscular, and confident. There is also a charming smile on his face and he is hiding his monster aura so efficiently that he looks just like an ordinary human.
He bows briefly to me before turning his attention to Cornelius. "King Cornelius of Cairns," he greets in a low baritone voice.
Cornelius narrows his eyes as he stares at the other man. "What brings you here?" he asks, his countenance opposed to being friendly.
Gavin's attendant comes forward instead. "King Cornelius of Cairns, allow me," she starts, and all I can think of is that — this attendant is also doing her very best to hide her aura. She also feels like an ordinary woman — a voluptuous, beautiful woman at that. I wonder if she is one of Gavin's lovers, especially now that he is king.
