The gang was on their way to fushcia city when professor Oak gives Ash a egg as a gift.

"Scissor street? Is not the place is known as Breeder's Lane?" Yellow asked. As she had heard from Daisy.
Brock noded and said,"That is right, it is well known for its pokemon salon and Beauty parlours."
"So that is the reason we are here, Brock always wants to see the latest Breeder's gear." Ash said
"There sure are a lot of pokemon beauty palours here. " Glissle said
"Yeah. " Misty said
"Humm." Brock hummed as he countinued to look to left to right.
"Is there is any special place you want to visit Brock?" Ash asked
"Hmm." Brock countiued to Hum
"I take it as a 'yes'." Ash said with a smirk in his face.
Others chuckled at Brock.
"Wher is it?" Brock said quietly
Misty walked forward,"Hey."
She stopped near a poster and the others followed. The poster had an Arbok and Weezing dressed up with a number of accessories and a makeup.
"Look this must be the newest fashion." Misty said
"Um.." Ash said
"Come on we got to go in." Misty said as she grabbed Ash's wrist and then dragged him away and the others followed behind.

Misty dragged Ash for a few minute with her before they came a stop near the shop with the same poster. The others stood behind with them as they heard in the speaker a woman's voice, "You won't belive how beautiful a pokemon can be. Step in and see for yourshelf let us amaze you with the latest fashion by the experts of Salon Roquet."
"Did she just say 'salon Roquet'?" Ash asked
"Why is that name sounds so familiar?" Misty said
Ash already knew that Team Rocket was here using a fake salon to get some money.
Brock looked at the poster and said,"Is that poster supposed to be a pokemon or a big cristmas tree?"
Ash just laughed a littld and when he turned to the window to look inside, the doors slide open and a woman walked out happily, with a charmander that were colored and had a lot of makeup on their body. Ash and the others looked at them in shock as they walked past. All of them exchanged a look.
Brock smiled as he pointed to a side and said,"It is there."
They followed his fingers direction to a shop and he quickly ran toward it.
"I found it." Brock said as he stood in front of the door that had a picture of vulpix on it.
"I have been looking all over for this place." He said as all of them walked closer.
"This is the store you have been looking for?" Misty asked
Brock did not answer as he slowly reached for the handle but froze there.
"What is up?" Ash asked as he walked past him.p
Ash opened the handle and stepped in with The others. A beutiful young woman was standing there massing a chansey. She glanced at them and turned back to the pokemon.
"How can I help you?" The young woman asked
Brock ran in and bumped into Ash, making him give him a look befofe looking back at the young woman. Ash recognized the woman as Suize, a breeder who masseges pokemon, according to Brock.
"Just relax realse all your tension." Suzie said to chansey. After a moment she stood up straight,"Now you will have more energy."
Chansey jumped off of the table, looking in the mirror in delight.
"Beutiful." Glissle said with a smile.
"Wow." Misty said
A man walked in and said,"chansey I came here for you, buddy."
Suize and chansey walked closer.
"Don't you look precious?" The man asked in delight
"Thank you for bringing chansey to my salon." Suize said to the man.
The man looked at her with a smile and said,"See you soo suize."With that said he and chansey turned around left.
Suize looked at them and asked,"May I help the next customers?"
"We are just looking around." Ash said
"No." Brock said while blushing.
Yellow pushed Brocxk with a smile and said," Look this vulpix the cutest thing?"
They looked forward at a vulpix sleeping on a chair. The gang walked closer to it. "Aw, He is cute." She asked
Ash pulled out his pokedesk and scanned vulpix.
[Vulpix, a fox pokemon. Its six tails are extremly beautiful.]
"I love it's hair. I wish I had a hair like that." Yellow said
"A hair like vulpix?" Ash asked in a confused manner.
"It is so shiny and soft." Yellow reached forward but quickly withdraw after a warning from Ash. That it will not like it and It can use fire attack on her.
Suize walked closer,"That is one of the reason. My vulpix didn't like to be petted by strangers."
"Uh...suize?" Brock said from behind.
"Yes?" Suize asked
"My name is Brocxk nice to meet you suize." Brock greeted quickly and the others looked at him." I want to Breed like you, I mean, I want to be a breeder like you."He said
"It's very nice to meet you Brock, I am a little flattered you want to make me your role model." Suzi said
"Yes I want to model you, I mean, I am flattered that you are flattered, I mean your vulpix is nice." Brock said.
"What I am trying to say is suize I am begginv you to accept me as your pupil." Brock said. The gang stared at him in shock, while suize just stared at him.
Ash ran to stand next to Brock and said, "You can't be serious Brock."
"Yes I am serious Ash and I know What I am doing. Please say 'yes' suize." Brock said
"I do not have any pupil Brock breeding takes all my time." Suize said
"So who is suzie." Misty asksed
Brock glared at her and said,"How dare you ask that? The sensational Suize of scissor strret have been awarded the trophy for excellence at the world Breeder's contest for three years And the readers of pokemon friends magazine named her the most popular Breeder for four years runing."
"Now that I call a great Breeder." Glissle said
"Yeah." Ash agreed
Brock was still glaring at Misty said,"She is the most amazing Breeder that I got to meet and you don't who suize is?"
Misty slightly backed away and said,"Okay Brock I get it."

After that ash, Glissle, Yellow, Misty, Brock and pikachu introduce themselevs to Suize they all sat in a table drinking tea and eating snacks while pikachu ate his pokemon food.
"So all of you are travelling on a pokemon Journey together. " Suize said before looking at pikachu "your pokemon have beutiful shiny fur." She said and looked at Brock,"Are you the one who makes their food Brock?"
"Yes."
The others also complimanted Brock's food.
Suize smiled at Brock and said,"That is amazing Brock."
He blushed in embarrassment.
Vulpix woke woke back up from its nap and smelled Ash's pokefood and sat next to pikachu.
Pikachu gave some of his pokefood to Vulpix. Vulpix sniffed it and took a piece. Then swallows it.
"Oh well this is a surprise." Suize stared at Vulpix with surprise, "Vulpix never eats anything unless I make it myself."
Ash and the others smiled.
"Hey Suzie, do you ever dress up your pokemon like they do at nearby store?" Misty asked
Suize sighed sadly and said,"Ever since that salon up trainers have been taking their pokemon there. They belive that making their pokemon look flashier is more important than what is on the inside."
"I think it was a tacky. Beside a pokemon is truly beauty is found within like its strenght." Ash said
Misty finally understood what Ash said.
"You are right Ash. My pokemon probably would not like to be dressed up." Misty said
Pikachu let out sighs of relief.
Suize looked down and said,"I wonder if it is outside or what is inside that really counts in the end. Ever since that new salon opened I have been wondering about my methods."
Brock stood up and said," Do not say things like that."
Suize looked at him.
Brock countinued, "Suzie you have got to keep following the path you belive in."
"Yeah I prefer you methods over some silly salon." Ash said
"That is very kind but how can we?" Suize asked
"Well if they want to put style over substance we will give the customer that do would never except." Ash said

Later Suize decided to give a Lecture which drew a small crowd but she followed Ash's plan so she was not all that worried.
Suize massaged pikachu who was lying on the table and said. "Each pokemon needs your speical care and attention. Whenever a pokemon has been injured in a battle it should be given a therapeutic massage."
Suize gestured Ash to come with pikachu, "This volunteer and his pikachu will now demonstrate the technique we learned today's lecture." Suize explained
Ash noded and started massaging his pikachu.
"How does that feel pikachu?" Ash asked
Pikachu noded in happiness.
The crowd watched in amazement.
"Good communication between pokemon and their trainers is the key. This technique builds in trust and bring out a pokemons
personality." Suize explained
"I think Suize will agree with me that any technique is only good as the Trainer who uses it." Brock added.
"Somebody, Help." A voice said
Everyone turned to the scream and saw a trainer running to the crowd.
"What's wrong?" Misty asked
The trainer looked up with a panicked expression,"The salon Roquet took my pokemon."He replied
"What.?" The gang said.
"I knew something was weird about that salon." Ash said
"Let's go." Glissle said
"Don't worry we will get your pokemon back." Brock said
The gang and Suzie ran to salon Roquet location.

When they arrived the place was different.
They saw a Ditto inside a Cage on a throne like chair.
"Ditto." The trainer yelled out.
"Hahahaha." The three famaliar laughed echoed through.
"Team Rocket." The gang said
Team Rocket appeared all dressed up like royal people.
They announced themselves and said their motto with a twist.
"To protect the world form.... " Jessie stareted
As they were doing their motto, Ash gestured Glissle to go free the Ditto. He noded and headed towards the cage.
After finishing their moto after that they said to hand over their pokemon to realse their Ditto.
Ash said,"You would not either way.
"That is true. " James said
Arbok and Weezing appeared but dressed in dresses that are in the poster.
"Go Arbok." Jessie said
"Go weezing." James said
"Go pikachu." Ash said
"Geodude go." Brock said
"Pikachu thunderbolt." Ash said
"Geodude use tackle." Brock said
The attacks hit Arbok making it paralyze.
Geodude hit Koffing hard.
James and Jessie lokked at their pokemon in horror.
"Oh it is a disaster." James said
"Lest's finish this." Ash said
"Wait vulpix and I need to say something." Suzie said and face Team Rocket,"it is time to get you a lesson in breeding if all you worry about is a pokemon outer beauty then its inner strenght will be lost."
Meowth appeared in between Arbok and weezing who gets back up, "Come on guys we got a battle to finish let's go." Meowth said
"Vulpix use firespin." Suzie said
Vulpix began to charge.
"Wait what about ditto it will get burned." Meowth said
"Look again." Ash said
"What? " The trio turned to see Ditto freed from the cage and sutting in Ash's arms. They tuned to where the empty cage was on top of the stairs,"oh no."They said
Vulpix used the attack on them.
"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN." The trio shouted before disappearing into the air.
Everyone looked at vulpix.
"Now that is an attack." Ash said
"Amazing." Misty said
They all looked at the Trainers outside all were still there and had watched everything.
"Did you see that?" Ash said,"A cute exterior hides the inner strenght that is the true personality of pokemon."
The crowd taking the words to their heart started to remove a the flashy items from their pokemon and wipe off the applied makeup.

Afterwards the gang and suize heads back to suzie's sallon to get ready to go towards fushcia city.
Suize was petting vulpix, "Nice work Vulpix." She stood up as she looked at the gang,"Thanks to all of you, I belive in what I am doing again. Yoh helped up regain confidence in my belifs."
"It is not hard when the person you are helping is great as you are." Ash said
"And Brock?" Suize said
"Yes." Brock asked
Suized placed her hands on her hips and said,"I was very impresed by your breeding skills Brock. I have a lot more to learn about Breeding pokemon even if I wins many competion, I am still a student not a teacher. Looks like both you and I have a journey a head of us."
"You are leaving Suize? What about the salon?" Ash asked
"There are things I can't learn if I don't leave from here. I want to countinue your journey too, Brock. From now on we are rivals." She held her hand for him to shake and he quickly did.
"Sure. " He said. Vulpix walked closer and rubbed itshelf against Brock's legs.
"I wi be grateful if you will take care of vulpix for me." Suize requested
"Huh?" Beock asked little shocked
"You are the first person other than me that Vulpix has been friendly with. " Suize said "Right now I belive that you can do a better Job of raising Vulpix better than I could."
Brock looked at suize with tears in his eyes and said,"Thanks I don't know what to say."
The others just smiled at it.
"All right, let's go vulpix." Brock said
At the moment a beeping noise was heard from Ash's bag.
Ash quickly went into his bag and took out the flashing egg in its incubator. He took the egg out as everyone stood behind him. Everyone had to shield their eyes as the glow got brighter. When it died down there was a pokemon sitting in Ash's lap. It was a small pokemon.
Ash take out his pokedek and scanned the pokemon.
[Gible, the land shark pokemon. It's mainly found in shino.]
Glible opened its eyes and saw Ash. It smiled and hugged his chest. Ash smiled and rubbed Gibel's dorsal fin which made it purr happily.
"Wow a Gible." Glissle said
"How cute." Misty said
"I have never seen a Glible before." Brock said
"It looks like quite healthy too." Suize said

After getting Gible into his pokeball, the gang said goodbye to suize and left the salon. Suize waved at them and they waved back.
"Bye." Suzie said
"Goodbye suzie." Ash said
"Bye." The gang called out.
Ash heard footsteps running and looked to Brock's side to see Team Rocket running away as they screamed with many angry Trainers running after him.
The gang exchanged a look before they chuckled.
