The next day at sewon's house-----
Ring! Ring! Ring!!
Sewon: sis open the door it must be Min-ho.
Sooya: okay.
Sooya opened the door.
Sooya: wow it's really you,What creepy starting.
Min-ho: hmm I'm glad that your starting got ruined by me. It feels so relaxing.
Sewon: why are you standing please come in. Sis did you forgot all of your manners.
Sooya: manners are for humans.
Min-ho ignores her and gave a flower plant to sewon.
Sewon: this smells so good.
Sooya: you bring a flower plant as gift.
Min-ho: I thought I should help sewon to breathe good air so I bought cause it's smell is good.
Sewon: please come in
Min-ho: thanks for having me.
Before going in Min-ho whisper at Sooya's ears
"There's no gift for you". Sooya sighs.
Sewon: sit in the sofa and feel comfortable.
Sooya: if you don't feel comfortable it doesn't matter.
Min-ho: I will feel comfortable to make you feel uncomfortable miss Sooya.
Sooya: so you can remember my name now.
Min-ho: no option.
Sewon: my colleagues will be there soon.
Sooya was staring at Min-ho.
Min-ho: why are staring at me?
Sooya: who said I'm staring at you.
Sewon: sis, did you take your medicines.
Sooya: oops
Sewon: not again please go and get them.
Sooya: goinggggg.
Sooya went to her room.
Sewon: I didn't tell you but my sister have--
Min-ho: cancer.
Sewon: how do you know.
Min-ho: she told me in the hospital.
Sewon: hospital??
Min-ho: That's where I met your sister.
Sewon: I see she really told you about her cancer that's wow.
Min-ho: hmm, but she didn't tell about what type of cancer she has ? And honestly she doesn't looks ill to me.
Sewon: I know she doesn't looks ill. Lung cancer, we got the news 5 years ago while she was in college.
Min-ho: stage?
Sewon: stage 2 , doctor said there's a hope so we shift here because the hospital here is very good and my job is quite well so I can pay for her treatments.
Min-ho: what about your parents?
Sewon: Mom died when I was 4 and Dad passed away two years ago and now it's me and my sister only.
Min-ho: I'm sorry
Sewon: no you don't have to. Look what even I'm talking about, I should bring the food.
Sewon went to the kitchen. Min-ho was silent for few minutes.
Sooya: oh my god.
Min-ho: what!!
Sooya: you can stay silent, that's amazing.
Min-ho: Funny very funny hehehee.
Few minutes later sewon's friends came. They start the party. They ate, talked, laughed. They were having fun. Min-ho was also happy to join them. Especially Min-ho and Sooya are not fighting now. Min-ho was looking at Sooya with excitement.
Sooya: why are you looking at me?
Min-ho: you can smile too.
Sooya: you too.
Both smiled at eachother. They party lasted for 2 hours. Sewon's friends are gone now. Now Min-ho, Sooya and Sewon are doing the cleaning part.
Sewon: I'll do the dishes, can you guys clean the table, I'm sorry to ask you for that Minh-
Min-ho: it's okay
Sewon went to the kitchen. Sooya looks at Min-ho.
Sooya: I think you are not creepy.
Min-ho: finally
Sooya: I mean you are like a colour changing lizard who changes his real face around others but shows his real face to me. By the way what is your profession?
Min-ho: I'm a lawyer.
Sooya laughs.
Min-ho: what's so funny about this?
Sooya: I get it that's why you are so good at arguments.
Min-ho looks at Sooya without expression. Sooya burst into laughing.
Min-ho: yeah yeah laugh as much as you can.
Sooya: I shouldn't
Min-ho: no no you should laugh at my face.
Sooya keeps laughing.
Sooya: you know when I laugh so hard j feel like I'm out of breathe.
Sewon: out of breaths, sis you ok
Sewon comes out of the kitchen.
Sooya: you were listening from the kitchen.
Sewon: it's not funny huh. You should visit the hospital Tomorrow.
Sooya: yeah yeah I know.
Min-ho was watching them silently. It's seems like he's enjoying the brother- sister bond. After cleaning up it was almost 7. Min-ho says bye bye sewon. Sewon also thanked him for coming.
Sooya: bye lizard.
Min-ho: bye stupid nonsense.
Min-ho came back to his house. He was tired so he slept early that night. The sunday went well.
Next morning----
It's raining so Min-ho could not go outside for running. He gets ready for his office. But before going he took a umbrella with himself. like every other day he's going to office in his car. On his way in the bus stand near his apartment he saw Sooya. She was waiting for bus. He stopped the car near her and opened the window.
Min-ho: Bad morning to you miss Sooya.
Sooya: for you not for me.
Min-ho: yeah of course , aren't you getting late , you are waiting for bus right?
Sooya ignores.
Min-ho: I guess I can give you lift. Where are you going.
Sooya: why should I tell you.
Min-ho: I thought I should help you but you are stubborn. I know that you're going to the hospital.
Sooya: how do you--
Min-ho: yesterday, remember.
Sooya:. I see
Min-ho: are you going in or not. The bus is not coming right now I guess. Get in if you don't want to be late for your appointment.
Sooya: fine.
Min-ho smiles a teasing smile. Sooya gets in the car. Min-ho start the car for hospital. Sooya was looking at the rain from inside of the car. In 10 minutes they reached hospital.
Min-ho: there you go, no need to thank me.
Sooya didn't replied anything and gets out of the car. It was still raining , Min-ho also get out of the car with an umbrella. Sooya was getting wet. So, Min-ho pulled her under the umbrella.
Sooya: what are you doing?
Min-ho: I agree that you like rain but doctor will not let you in if you get totally soaked in rain. So, it's an act of charity.
Sooya: is this my last on earth that I'm getting too much good vibes from you.
Min-ho: I don't want to argue with you right now. Anyways take this umbrella and don't forgot to return.
Sooya: ok I'll try to return.
Min-ho: what do you mean by return?
Sooya: nothing bye.
Min-ho shouted " hey listen don't lose it"
Sooya shouted " I can't hear you"
Min-ho was getting soaked so he gets back in his car and went for offlce.
In office---
Miss Nam: today Mr Kang's mood is quite good.
Kim: it must be for the case requests he got today.
Miss Nam: how much?
Kim: 7
Miss Nam: 7 cases means more and more work.
Kim: yep.
Miss Nam: Min-ho sir!
Min-ho: yes?
Miss Nam: did you choose which case you'll be working on?
Min-ho: I picked 3 , I have already sent you the details please check it carefully.
Miss Nam sighs..
Min-ho did overtime today. He worked till 9 pm in the office. Before going home he packed some papers and carry them in his car.
Min-ho: I think I should buy dinner from outside tonight.
On his way he stopped his car near a shop. He bought some cup noodles for himself. While he was buying cup noodles rain shows up again." Too much things are not good" Min-ho said by looking at the rain. He waited for the rain to stop but it didn't. Now it's 10pm.
Min-ho: I can't wait more I should go.
He went outside of the store , he was getting wet so he started running. He was about to get into his car then he saw Sooya. In the middle of the empty road, completely soaked in water, seems like she's enjoying the rain. Min-ho runs to her . He pushed sooya towards him.
Min-ho: are you crazy?
Sooya: you here?
Min-ho: why are you stranding in the road?
Sooya: I'm enjoying the rain what's wrong with this and see the road is empty.
Min-ho: it could be Dangerous.
He took her hand and brought her into his car. Both of them are completely soaked in water.
Sooya: why did you bring me here?
Min-ho: you can catch cold for getting wet in the rain and where's the umbrella I gave you in morning.
Sooya: I don't know.
Min-ho: what!! You have lost it???
Sooya: I didn't tell you to give me your umbrella.
Min-ho throw a towel on her face.
Min-ho: I'm assuming to kill you right now.
Sooya: why ? Cause I lost your umbrella?
Sooya looks at Min-ho with teasing smile.
Min-ho: no, because I got completely soaked because of your stupidity and I hate it.
Sooya: I didn't tell you to come, I was enjoying my own things. You're the one who showed up without any reason.
Min-ho: what's so special about rain huh?
Sooya: don't you want to go home and get rid of me.
Min-ho: more than anything else.
Sooya: then start the car.
Min-ho start the car while glaring at Sooya. After going a little far from the shop. Sooya asked," why do hate rain?".
Min-ho: I don't know, I don't like getting wet and rain. I don't think whether rain brings calmness or peace to heart or not. When I was little I used to get wet and sick rapidly. So I started to hate it and also till date no one really taught me why rain is good. I know it's a silly reason to hear but that's enough for me.
Sooya : yeah it's silly. You said no one taught you about the goods of rain, didn't your parents--
Min-ho: they passed away in an accident when I was 4.
Sooya: I'm sorry
Min-ho: Don't be sorry, it's a very old story and I can't remember any of their memories as I was very little.
Sooya: anyone else in family?
Min-ho: my grandpa raised me but he also passed away when I was in high school. He was also a lawyer , he wanted me to become a laws so here I am today. Thanks to the Money he saved for me.
Min-ho laughs.
Sooya: by the way you said that no one taught you about the goods of rain.
Min-ho: yeah.
Sooya: what if I do , will you stop hating it if I do that?
Min-ho looks at Sooya while driving.
Min-ho: try it.
Sooya: open the window and let the wind come in
Min-ho: we are already soaked in water and if I do that we'll surely catch cold.
Sooya: just do ittt now.
Min-ho : fine sighs.
Sooya: Rain is beautiful in its own unique way. Those who can see it's Beauty loves it and those who can't see it they become you. Normally cities are so noisy that we can't even hear anything clearly. But when rain arrives the sound of raindrops hitting the window panes is so soothing. It brings sense of serenity. No matter what the whether may be, a rainy day always relaxes and sooths our soul. And also there is no better smell in the world after a heavy rainfall. It cleans the air and washed away the dust so we can breathe fresh air , So I don't find anything to hate it.
Min-ho attentionally heard everything.
Sooya: if you see it the way I see it you'll love it too.
Min-ho: maybe.
Min-ho smiles.
Sooya: oh we are here.
Sooya comes out of the car in the parking lot and Min-ho too. Both took the lift and went to their own places without any word.
At 11:30 Min-ho was lying in his bed and thinking about what Sooya told about rain and later fell asleep.
Next morning------
"Aaaaachuuuu" Min-ho sneezed.
Min-ho: what is it! I catched cold because of that girl. Aaaaachuuuu, aaaaachuuuu, aaaaachuuuu.
Min-ho called sobin and told him that he can't go to office Today. He took a break cause he catches cold. After the call he tried to sleep but couldn't.
At 3 pm--
He was drinking tea then someone knocked the door.
Min-ho opened the door.
Min-ho: oh Sewon.
Sewon: yeah
Min-ho: did something happened?
Sewon: I'm here to ask you for a help
Min-ho: what is it?
Sewon: I have to go outside of the city for three days for a business trip.
Min-ho: oh that's sounds good.
Sewon: not actually.
Min-ho: why?
Sewon: Sooya got fever yesterday night.
Min-ho looked tensed.
Min-ho: fever?
Sewon: she got soaked in rain yesterday and catches cold.now she's kinda alright at night she found tough to breathe I talked to the doctor. He said she'll be okay.
Min-ho: oh
Min-ho didn't tell sewon about yesterday night.
Sewon: can you please check on her cause I won't be there.you know there's no one whom I can trust. I know she always fight with you and---
Min-ho:. It's ok I can.
Sewon: really?
Min-ho: hmm , go and work hard in your business trip ,you can go without any tension.
Sewon: thank you so much.
Min-ho: your Welcome.
Sewon: my train is on 11 pm see you later and again thank you.
At 11 pm Min-ho and Sooya says bye to Sewon. Min-ho looks at Sooya.
Min-ho: look what have rain done to you. Sneezes
Sooya: I don't I think I'm only one.
Min-ho: it happened because of you.
Sooya: stop accusing me you lizard.
Min-ho: fine. By the way if you need any help you can call me.
Sooya shuts the door on his face.
Min-ho: wowww what a nice gesture.
Next morning-----
Like every other day Minho wakes up early it's a sunny day so he went for running. After coming back he cooked breakfast for 2 people. Then Min-ho knocked the door of 206. Sooya opens the door.
Sooya: why you now?
Min-ho: to invite you.
Sooya: invite me for what?
Min-ho: I have made breakfast for you and me.
Sooya: you made breakfast for me? Why? Wait a minute do you think that I can't make breakfast for myself.
Min-ho: I'm doing what your brother told me to do.
Sooya: what did he tell you?
Min-ho: just come with me and see it by yourself.
Sooya: fine I'm coming.
Sooya entered in Min-ho's house for the first time. She was amused by seeing his apartment.
