It was a blissful thursday morning ,the chirps and tweets of morning birds were quite melodious. The choo','chug' and 'chuff' sound of the train could be heard from distance. The cloud was very beautiful and calm. The day looked very promising,one can say. Robinson was busy turning from one side of the bed to other like one being itched at every moment they turned to one side of the bed.

The alarm bell ranged,this time it seemed louder, alerting Rob from his now uncomfortable sleep. This was the third time the alarm was ringing. He jumped up immediately realizing that he was almost late for his 8.30am class. He rushed to his magnificent bathroom,a bathroom the size of a bedroom. The bathroom have an exquisite bath tub,an autoflush, gold plated sink and to name a few. After his bath he proceeded to his kitchen to make a quick breakfast. The kitchen had an elegant view,it was very tidy and expensive.

Rob rushed and packed his laptop and notebook,he went for the door but realized that he forgot his car key and phone and went back to pick it. Rob's apartment was one befitting of a Manik,it comprised of huge sitting room which was occupied by gold painted sofas and table. A 146 inches TV could be see on the north wall of the sitting room,there were many electrical gadgets ranging from PlayStation, home theater and many others. From the sitting room one could see the entrance leading to Rob's bedroom,a very large space containing 150cm wide and 200cm long bed. By the wall side one could see the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci,there were something to behold. North to the bed were two sofas and then a small sized table. Moving close to the paintings by the left one could see the magnificent wardrobe which on a closer look hung a younger portrait of Rob.

He got his keys and Left for the garage, before he got the keys he contemplated on the car key to take,he has many options,they were three very expensive cars in the garage; a Rolls- Royce sweptail,worth about $13 million,a 690 horsepower Mercedes Benz Maybach Exelero, and a $30 million worth Roll-Royce boat tail. All was customized and in black. It was his favorite color.

Life have not always been a fair thing to Rob,fair was an understatement, before now,he was something far different from what he is. To him even if God told him that he will be this wealthy he would have easily laughed it off but here he is living a life many may think to be too good to wish for.

Rob whose full name is Robinson Luther Manik. He was the first but illegitimate son of his father Diego. He was the son of Sofia her mother.

Rob at a very tender age was already exposed to the hostility of the world. He was cared by his mother Sofia until she died of cancer at his very seventh birthday. Rob was told that his father died before he was born and he made peace with that. Her mother lied to him in order to protect him from his origin. Life wasn't something to wake up to for Rob at this time.

Sofia was a janitor who worked at one of the Landsteins bakery company. She was from time to time humiliated, assaulted and abused by powerful and influential individuals. Rob atimes do witnessed this,he also noticed the disdain looks people always give to them. Rob was very young but still he understood the discrepancy between them and these echelons but still hoped one day to get his revenge.

His mother was not one that believed in hope or faith,she clinged to survival, something realistic and she made sure that Rob understood this. To her hope and faith were false feelings and teachings given to the poor and less privileges by the rich to keep them from exerting retribution and causing havoc.

Young Sofia was a beautiful,shy and naive girl whose only parent,her mother was one of the cleaners of the Maniks castle. She always after school come by to help her mother in her job. It was on one of this occasion that he met the handsome Diego.

In a short time they felled in love with each other and in the process she got pregnant. She was very scared and afraid and hid it from her mother,she was sixteen then. He confided in Diego who at hearing this panicked,he advised that they should abort the child but Sofia optioned against it. Diego was afraid of what his family will think about him,he was afraid that his father will be disappointed in him.

After sometime, Diego's mother noticed some sudden changes on her and she became alarmed as she have noticed the surprising closeness between his son and her.

She sent them packing on finding out that she was pregnant for Diego. To save her son and family reputation she told them to leave but not without giving them some money. She threatened to kill them if anyone comes to know about the pregnancy.

Sofia and her mother left and reside in a peaceful town called Freetown. Not long her mother felled sick, Sofia used a good amount from the money given to them to treat her. Later on she gave birth to Rob but few weeks from Rob's birth date her mother died. She was going through a lot of pain coupled with the fact that the remaining money was very small.

At the time she was tempted to reach out for Diego but optioned against it after remembering the stern warnings of Diego'smother. She then moved to Beverly with little meager funds,a habitat for life miserable individuals. This new place could barely shelter them let alone to offer comfort. Since then she have been Rob only guardian until her death. On her death bed she wrote a letter to Diego through a friend emphasizing on Rob, they son.

After her death,Rob was taken under the care of they closeby neighbor Mr Crewell who fancied him. Mr Crewell was an English teacher who teaches at Beverly high school. He lived alone. He was single despite being in his late thirties,he is a divorcee. Mr Crewell was barely doing well himself this was largely due to his low pay and Gambling nature.

By age ten,Rob was already getting himself involved in menial jobs in order to save up for high school. He seriously believed that education was a way out from his misery hence was very desperate to save up for high school. He later started getting himself involved in street activities,he was at the time was selling drugs to the streets but luckily for him the suppliers was busted by the law enforcement agencies.

After sometime he was enrolled in Beverly high school,the same school that Crewell his guardian teaches. Beverly school was not for the weak,they were very toxic and it contained individuals who like Rob have seen the mean side of life despite their young ages. Rob was made more tougher and stronger in every challenges that he encountered,he in a way adapted to them.

Rob life came to change when his father later got hold of the letter. It was almost five years since her dieing mother sent this letter but now was when Diego came for him. The letter was intercepted by Diego's mother who took it and hid. Later on she died and during one of those cleaning days in her room the letter was found and it got to the reach of Diego who reacted swiftly in search of his First son.
