"Water Release·Explosive Water Rush!"
With a swift formation of seals, Tobirama seized control of the last seal, causing the colossal pool formed by the Great Waterfall technique to swiftly vanish into the insatiable desert surrounding it. In an instant, an explosion resonated through the atmosphere!
"Boom-!!"
The immense body of water, now bereft of its waves and columns, ascended majestically from the desert like a towering mountain, spanning several hundred meters in diameter.
"What... what is this?!"
"Whoa, whoa-"
In a spectacle defying the conventions of ninjutsu, the instantaneous surge of water breached its limits, generating a force comparable to a nuclear blast.
An unparalleled shockwave rippled across kilometers, with crystal water droplets cascading, catching the sun's radiant beams as they wafted through the air, creating a dreamlike allure.
Beneath this captivating display, an awe-inspiring "mushroom cloud" crafted from pure water manifested out of thin air, heralding the arrival of monstrous waves following the shockwave. The golden desert was transformed into a boundless ocean, rendering the once arid land saturated with moisture.
"This... this power...!!"
Shamon's gaze dulled as he hovered, completely drenched, suspended in the air by a small sand sphere. His gaze descended to a vast ocean, where the original desert offered no footholds, and its water volume seemingly vanished from existence.
"Is this Tobirama's might? Comparatively, his chakra is approximately 60% of Senju Hashirama's. Hashirama subdued Madara Uchiha, contending even against both Madara and Kyuubi simultaneously!"
Takeshi found himself afloat in the water, surrounded by astonished faces of several Anbu members treading water nearby, oblivious to his presence.
"While Hashirama deserves credit for facing both simultaneously, Tobirama's chakra evidently surpasses that of most tailed beasts!"
Takeshi scooped up a handful of water, wearing a visage of disbelief. It was unfathomable that the sea before him had been a desert merely minutes ago!
Is this the prowess of the elite shinobi? The ability to reshape landscapes at will, incinerate mountains, and boil seas!
"How long until I ascend to such heights, perhaps reaching the elusive realm of the God of Shinobi and the Six Paths?!"
Submerged in the water, Takeshi gazed at Tobirama's formidable back, his snake-like pupils turning blood-red, harboring inexplicable desires and ambitions.
"Shamon, do you perceive the difference between us now?"
Cloaked in blue armor and a white shawl, Tobirama stood on the water, seemingly diminutive yet commanding. Each step toward the monk elicited ripples in the surrounding water, as though nature itself acknowledged the sovereign employing Water Release.
"Damn! Tobirama, I concede your might, but... victory isn't yours just yet! Don't revel too soon!"
Enraged, Shamon, suspended in the sky, sought to manipulate the sand for retaliation. Alas, aside from the suspended grains surrounding him, the desert he fashioned lay dormant several dozen meters below the water's surface, inaccessible for mobilization!
Wind Release couldn't summon sand out of thin air. For Shamon to reinitiate ninjutsu, he might need to retreat a thousand meters. Beyond questioning if he could threaten Tobirama standing on the "sea," the distinction between him and escape blurred into the aqueous expanse.
As a Kage, Shamon may have been defeated, but escaping was another challenge. He dared not approach Tobirama on the water; the sheer volume of water would ensure his demise.
Shamon's response was stern, momentarily overwhelmed. "Humph! If you're obstinate, refusing to fight, I'll capture you alive!"
Tobirama looked at Shamon in the air, a cold smile playing on his lips. Water beneath his feet surged, forming a massive wave lifting him. Rushing toward Shamon, Tobirama swiftly executed a seal.
"Water Release: Infinite Water Bomb!"
Controlled by Tobirama, the vast water surface churned violently. Countless water columns erupted, compressing and rotating before coalescing into sharp jets, assaulting Shamon from all angles.
"Don't even think about it!"
Shamon manipulated the sand to evade the airborne currents' thorns, but the relentless onslaught of water-tooth bombs made it challenging. A bullet swept across Shamon's side, tearing away a sizable chunk of sand.
Airborne, Shamon struggled, unable to counterattack and facing imminent danger.
"Tobirama! Don't think I'm afraid of you; I haven't given my all yet!"
The pressured ascetic, infuriated, considered a scroll but hesitated, torn between revealing all his cards and enduring further.
"Hmph, making a fool of yourself. Come down obediently!" Tobirama's cold snort echoed; water surged, and a water dragon silently roared toward Shamon, sealing his escape routes.
"Damn, I can't catch up! Since that's the case—"
As Shamon gritted his teeth, ready to draw the scroll, an astonishing explosion erupted from the water. A massive yellow monster emerged, bellowing.
"Roar----!"
A roar shook the air; the sand settled under the water rose again, forming a sandstorm. Tobirama's created lake now shifted, half turning into sand. The desert, water, and sand once again contested, each claiming half the land.
"This... What is this?!"
Observers like Tsushima were awestruck by the sudden appearance of the colossal monster. Tobirama's water dragon collided with the creature, but its copper-bell eyes fixed on the small figure in front—Tobirama—exuding a killing intent.
"Yes, it's the one-tailed Shukaku! Tobirama, knowing you were here, I dared not come alone. I even brought One Tail. In the desert, One-tail's power is boundless. What will you do now?"
Shamon laughed, landing back on the sand. A stream of sand shielded him once more, quickly drying the moisture on his body.
Finally, with him successfully summoning the one tail, Shamon felt a hint of fearlessness!
Takeshi gazed up, observing Shukaku's now-yellowish body, resembling a large civet cat but bulkier. Violet tattoos adorned its body, forming a pattern representing the wind god, and a stout tail rose into the sky.
While Shukaku's original appearance was somewhat cute, it now exuded only bloodthirst and tyranny, saliva slipping from its mouth.
"Hee hee, is this the tailed beast? It's the first time I've seen it, and it truly is extraordinary, even if it's one of the weakest tailed beasts," Takeshi chuckled lightly.
In all fairness, Shukaku's abilities are commendable. He swiftly recuperates in the arid desert, possesses exceptional defense, and wields a formidable sealing prowess. His intellect, at the very least, matches that of humans.
However, the drawback lies in the limited chakra within the tail. The frequently employed air-refining bombs exhibit only A-level ninjutsu strength. The utilization of the tail beast jade is scarce, and there is no established hierarchy among the tailed beasts.
Takeshi observed Shukaku with enthusiasm, swiftly strategizing in his mind before submerging underwater once more.
"Hmph, Shamon, is this your trump card?" Tobirama cast a cold gaze upon Shukaku and Shamon. The flood surged once again, and the potent chakra overflowed, even catching Shukaku off guard.
In terms of chakra, Tobirama had already surpassed Shukaku. Even if he faced both adversaries simultaneously, Shukaku's combat prowess wouldn't pose a threat.
Nevertheless, one-tail is still a tailed beast, a strategic asset and a vital element for each nation. Tobirama couldn't afford to be overly ambitious.
The terrain was hilly, and although Tobirama's water release was formidable, Shukaku's abilities would restrain him. Tobirama sensed the impending difficulty.
"Hehe, just One-Tail. I won't be swayed!" Tobirama sneered, fixing a cold gaze on Sammon.
"What? You...!" Shamon was taken aback. Tobirama's strength surpassed his expectations, and the presence of Shukaku, who had subtly employed the sealing technique during their recent skirmish, had considerably depleted Shukaku's combat capabilities.
Anticipating Tobirama's temporary retreat, Shamon was surprised by Tobirama's unwavering stance.
"Roar—!" As if responding to Tobirama's disdain, the mindless Shukaku bellowed furiously.
As Jinchuriki, their control varied. Presently, Shukaku seemed devoid of consciousness, yet the unleashed power neared completeness.
"This is war. If you choose to engage, be prepared for setbacks."
Tobirama maintained a stoic expression, hands swiftly forming seals as colossal waves emerged once more.
"Tsushima, Kazama, and the others, weaken Shukaku slightly. Your task is to return him to the body of Jinchūriki. I'll handle Shamon!"
