Koto and Tsuku walk through the huge front doors they are greeted with what looks like a common room
"Dude how rich is this school"
"I…I knew they had money, but this is just insane"
Before them stood four pillars each made of gold, a diamond chandelier, and the number 27 engraved on a wall in full platinum
"Hey Tsuku, you're rich, do I look out of place being here?"
"Honestly I think we both do, this is nothing like how the pamphlet described"
"Excuse me gentlemen, but who are you?"
A very well dressed man appeared in front of them
"WHA…who are you?"
"I am the butler of classroom 27, now I will ask one final time who are you?"
"We are students, students of classroom 27 Sir"
"You're late on your first day…what a embarrassment"
"Well yes Sir but we didn't mean to be we got caught-"
"SILENCE"
"I do not care about your excuses, go through those doors under the 27 and get to class"
Both Koto and Tsuku are scared but they start walking toward the doors
"Shit man that butler is intimidating"
"Ya man he's no joke"
Koto and Tsuku try to gather themselves but as the butler watches them they are to scared to stop
"Koto I dont think im ready anymore"
"You were the telling me to relax, im not letting you chicken out now"
Koto almost pushes Tsuku through the door before it automatically opens. What they saw took both their breath away once more.
"Woah"
"This classroom is huge"
They stood at the top of the classroom overlooking the professor and the students
"Well..well..well..look who finally decided to join us"
The professor took at look at his watch
8:17
"Boys it seems you are 17 minutes late"
"Yes professor we are terribly-"
"Did I say you could speak?"
"Class, did I ever give them permission to speak?"
"No Professor"
"Then can someone please explain to me why these 2 DELINQUENTS SPOKE WITHOUT PERMISSION"
The classroom went silent Koto and Tsuku stood there frozen in fear and embarrassment
"Now why are you late? Lets see Tsuku, answer that question"
Tsuku's mind was racing he had completely forgot what him and Koto talked about just moments ago
"Well Sir we were on our way here when we got smashed by-"
Before Tsuku can say another word Koto elbows him in the back
"BY GUYS…we got smashed by guys on our way here"
In that moment time stood still for Koto
"Of all things…of all the things Tsuku could have said, HE SAID THE ONE THING THAT WILL GUARANTEE WE GET NO BITCHES FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR"
Koto came back to reality and tried to make a desperate save
"Professor it's not what it sounds like, what he ment-"
"I've heard enough, take your seats and don't disrupted class for the rest of the day"
For a little over 3 hours we sat there, every minute felt like a lifetime. The class would look at us off and on in disbelief it was the most embarrassing moment of our lives
12:00 pm
"Ok class go to lunch, report back here by 1:30 and don't be a minute late"
The two make it into the common room they can feel every eye on them
"Hey Koto I thinks it's a good idea if we just go"
"I agree"
They make it outside classroom 27 back on the sidewalk
"Tsuku…I thought you said you was a good lair"
"Look man i'm sorry i guess i just froze and panicked"
Koto takes a deep breathe
"Ok maybe this isn't all bad, sure we've probably struck out with our whole class but there's plenty of other classes here"
"Nope… dude look everyone is staring"
"How could word possibly have spread that fast"
"Excuse me"
A girl starts walking up toward the two of them
"Hey is it true what everyone has been saying?"
"What exactly have people been saying?"
"That you two got smashed up by some guys, I mean your clothes do look dirty but you don't seem like the type to cause trouble so everyone is curious"
In this moment Koto and Tsuku both realize the same thing
"Dude they think we got in a fight"
"This could not have gone better we can say we tried to save someone but there were simply to many and we got outnumbered"
"Dude…look at us…getting hit by a truck is a more believable story then that"
"Ya your right but hey let a man dream"
"So are either of you gonna say anything or will you just keep staring at each other"
"Oh yes sorry about that, the truth is we were on our way here some old bullies from high school jumped us, I guess they wanted to get one last beating in…we tried to fight back but look at us"
"Woah im so sorry that happened to you, i'll make sure to tell people be extra nice to you for the rest of the day"
"Wow thanks that's so kind of you"
"It's no problem, have a nice day"
The girl ran off to spread the message about the guys
"Wow dude that was incredible, I had no idea you was that good of a liar"
"I didn't either to be honest"
"Well I guess that's solved, we should head to the dining hall"
"Yeah man lets get some food"
The two approach the front door of the dining hall
"This is a lot bigger up close'
"Well what do you expect? This is where every student eats'
"Not every student actually, your allowed to leave campus as long as you make it back in time"
"I guess but why eat somewhere else when the food here is free"
"Because not everyone is broke like you"
Koto puts his head down
"Why do you have to be so honest"
"Relax buddy you have me remember'
"Sometimes that's not always a good thing"
They walk inside the dining hall
"Wow its amazing, but it's not as good as our common room"
"Take into consideration the higher the class number the more elite they are"
"Woah really so how many classes are there?"
"Did you even read the pamphlet"
"I meant to…I just never found the time"
"It was only 5 pages!"
"Thats 5 more pages then what I normally read over the summer"
"How are you so smart and so lazy at the same time"
"I know its a true gift"
"There are 30 classes we are class 27?
"WE ARE THAT HIGH UP?"
"What class your put in is determined by your test scores, only the select elite can pay there way to the top, it's a honor to be in class 27"
"I never thought the numbers had meaning"
"Koto your class number at this school maybe most important"
"Woah really, Do you get special access or something?"
"You become more popular with the ladies"
"I should have known…ok just tell me about the dining hall"
This place has 5 main restaurants each serving food from all around the world
"Ok well Tsuku since its the first day i'm going to let you pick"
"I WANT MEAT"
Koto looks on in disbelief
"Could you not have worded that any different"
"What are you talking about man? Lets go get steak"
They make there way over to Ringo's Steakhouse
"I cant believe a restaurant like this is free"
"Big upgrade from the daily noodles you had"
"Man I made great noodles"
Koto and Tsuku finish their meal and leave the restaurant, when they step outside the door they notice a massive fight has broke out in another restaurant
"Wow everyone seems so nice and peaceful can't believe they still have fights here"
"That explains why they looked at us funny earlier"
"Hey Tsuku im going to bathroom i'll meet you back at class"
"Ok man its only 1:00 so we still got plenty of time"
The two go there separate ways
"Now where is the bathroom"
Koto looks on the walls for signs but he finds none
"They have to have one around here somewhere, guess i'm going to have to search"
Koto searches around the building, as soon as he turns a corner he sees another fight that's broken out
"I wonder how common this is?"
"Nevermind them I have to find this place fast"
Koto after 10 minutes of searching finally find it
"I cant believe there wasn't a single sign"
After Koto is done he washes his hands suddenly two men break through the front door fighting one man is in a very well dressed suite with a mask over his face the other looks is a fellow student from a lower class
"Little punk you think you can rob us and get away"
"I'll pay you back…I swear"
The student is beaten mercilessly to the floor a terrified look is all that is seen across his face as the man starts pouring oil all over him, Koto wants to run but his body won't move
"Please don't do it, you'll get your money I give you my word"
"That's what you said last time, the boss is tired of you, and when the boss doesn't like you anymore you disappear"
The man pulls out a lighter and throws it at the man lighting him and the surrounding area on fire
"AHHHHH"
"You knew the price of failure when you made the deal this is all your fault"
The man's attention turn toward Koto
"Im sorry kid, but I can't have any witnesses on this one"
In the blink of an eye the man leaves the bathroom and barricades the door trapping Koto inside
