Walking with his head drooped and Sprout on his shoulder, Reinhart walked about twenty feet in front of the women. He was starting to wish that he would have just made this trip alone.
Behind him, Saava and Vexille were explaining what life was like with Aldren and his two other wives, Maylinn and Kaelan. Kalissia nodded along as Maze covered her reddening face.
"If you really love him, then his happiness should matter the most to you, right?" Vexille, who was the most straightforward among Aldren's wives, asked Maze. Saava nodded, "We love Aldren, hence, we all came to an understanding about sharing him."
Kalissia chimed in, "Vexille and Saava make a good point. Our relationships should be for us. Not based on societal norms." Her gaze fell on Reinhart's back, "Master brings happiness into our lives in his own unique way. All I want is to be a part of that joy."
