Chapter 56
First thing we did before docking at Sabaody was getting Spade his face-change again. We changed him a bit more than we had last time. I doubt even Luffy could tell if this really is his brother now. While you could tell some sort of resemblance, it was too vague to say.
We docked on Sabaody Archipelago right next to a Marine Ship just to piss them off. They were about to complain but once they saw who we were they just put their heads down and walked back.
Diana: Hey you!
The Marine who was wearing a Commander's uniform started to sweat heavily as he started walking towards us.
Commander: Admiral Diana…?
Diana: Not really an Admiral anymore, so you don't need to call me that. But more importantly, don't we need to pay for our visa? I'm pretty sure we're not allowed to dock here for free…
Commander: Yes ma'am! I mean… yes. Um… 300 Beri for the week or 100 Beri if you are leaving today.
Me: Sis, we might be here longer than a day. We need to stock up a lot. We depleted a lot of our food supply and all from Mycan.
Diana: *hands over 300 Beri* Here.
Commander: Thank you
The moment he gave us the paper that proved that we paid for our stay, he walked/ran off. Probably to inform his superiors that we were here.
Walking down the Archipelago, people still recognized us. We weren't wearing our signature Admiral Marine Coat but I was still wearing the same old tights (they're new, just the same ones) while Sis was wearing the same black formal wear. Most people avoided us as we walked through the streets while a few tried to follow us from behind.
I saw multiple bounty hunters eyeing us, but there weren't any idiots like from Kizaru's time at Sabaody. There were many, but nobody tried it.
We assigned everyone roles on what to buy so we just split up at the Market District and went our ways to buy everything we needed.
It seems I was right in my assumption that Sakazuki gave the order to not engage us. Wise choice Sakazuki, thanks for making our lives easier.
Me: All the grain, flour, and eggs you have today please.
Shopkeeper: Eh? EH!!! yes, of course!
Seriously, what's up with these people getting surprised when I start talking to them. This wasn't really talking either. This was pretty much getting ridiculous at this point. If I met the president of my country in my previous life, I would get my nerves together and act confident.
As I dumped all of them in the big bubble cart that I borrowed, I went around buying more and more. Spices, food, drinks, snacks, and a lot more of things we probably wouldn't be able to buy outside the Archipelago.
After all, even if my heritage is from Wano, I grew up in Sabaody after all. The food here is my favorite.
We all had a two day long massive shopping spree. Spending over a Hundred Million Beri on food, repairs, supplies and more. Of course, we more than easily earned 300 Million beri by just snatching up pirates that were trying to hide from us on the Island.
Me: 340 Million Beri
Marine: But… Pirates aren't allo—-
Me: We're not Pirates. Give me the money
Marine: But crimina—-
Me: You already took the Pirates. Do you want me to go in there and set them free again? Equal transactions. If you won't give me the money, than I take back what you took from me for free.
So we easily got our money back with some friendly talk and convincing. During the entire time, we met multiple reporters and got our pictures taken by a least two dozen Den Den Mushi and I'm pretty sure they got dozens of good pictures of our ship and flag. I guess we'll be known by that flag now.
That night, we all had a serious meeting about our future. What we want to do and how we can do it. We didn't want to be Pirates; having to pillage and steal in order to live…no. We wanted to be something unique but powerful. We wanted our own domain in the New World… but we didn't want to be recognized as an Emperor.
Diana: We've always wanted to try and achieve World Peace. It's not going to work out every problem but I say we try and make THAT. We've got the resources, we've got Billions of Beri to back us up. We can do it. If we pull this off, we have the legitimate reasons to wipe them off one by one with most of the World on our side.
Everyone: We do…
Me: I say it's worth a try. Besides, nobody can really stop us from doing so anyway.
We smiled. This was the perk of being powerful.
Diana: We can't just do this without telling anyone. Pulling off something of this scale will catch the attention of the entire world. We're going to need to make sure they won't interfere. Especially the World Government, we don't want them poking their noses in where they don't belong.
Me: I've a simple solution to that.
Sarah: Tell us
Me: Let's warn them. Set course for New MarineFord.
We docked at New MarineFord and walked right through security, into the offices and straight up to Sakazuki's office.
Sakazuki: I was wondering which idiot would dare dock at New MarineFord but it turned out to be you guys. What do you want?
I ignored him and went over to dad, who was now an admiral, and gave him a hug.
Me: I just came to see dad, is that not allowed?
Sakazuki: Do you THINK it's allowed? You're both wanted people!
Me: Yeah yeah whatever. Sis, could you do the talking? I want to sit on dad's lap.
Dad, who was petting me, easily solved that problem by walking up to Sakazuki's desk, pulling up a chair, sitting on it, then putting me on his lap. Now all 3 of us were in front of Sakazuki.
Diana: Hi dad, let me get the information out first and we can have Soba together. Anyway, this is what we're going to do. Whether you choose to avoid us, help us, or fight us is up to you.
Sis passed a very thick packet of paper detailing our plans to Sakazuki. There wasn't enough there for them to properly set up a plan against us, but there was enough to know what we're doing and why.
As Sakazuki started looking through the papers, he grunted.
Sakazuki: *grunt* Well, at the very least you won't have us as enemies. Do as you wish. If this is completed, I don't see a downside for us. I just have to convince those old dogs to properly look at the benefits.
Me: Also, could you print out a list of some Pirates in the New World? Like the bad ones. I doubt we'll have extra time but we want to know which ones we need to wipe out before they become a problem.
Sakazuki: Your family Issho, always brings me more trouble and paperwork.
Me: Shut up. In a way we already retired and we're still doing your work for you. You should be thankful.
Sakazuki just passed me a paper with the names of the crews and captains before grunting.
Me: For every innocent Pirate or something that shouldn't be here is on the list, it's going to cost one Marine Base.
Sakazuki: I'm not dumb enough to risk that and you know it.
I did. He might hate Pirates to his gut but he wasn't one to move just because he was mad. He was a planner, a careful one at that too.
Sakazuki: Just eat your noodles with that Soba addicted father of yours and get out.
We did exactly that, gave dad a nice hug goodbye before setting out. On our way out though, Sakazuki was there…again.
Diana: Didn't we see you an hour ago? Also, why is the Fleet Admiral out on the dock when he should be doing his paperwork?
Sakazuki: Just shut up and listen. I've just called the 5 old bastards. If you really manage to pull this off, then we'll drop the bounties on your crew.
Diana: Not necessary but appreciated. Don't know if it was your order or some smart officers but none of the Marines we've met so far had the balls to attack us.
Sakazuki: My orders, though I can't think of a single high ranking officer that would be dumb enough to order his or her unit to attack you.
Me: If that's it. We'll be on our way.
When we started to sail off into the territories where the influence of the World Government started to weaken, I felt this excitement that I have been holding it in for a long time.
Me: Sis, what we're about to do… is definitely something not in Canon.
Diana: Finally, we officially break the powers of the sea. The 3 way Balance will be broken with this. I honestly didn't think we'll make it this far.
Me: Me neither, but here we are.
Diana: Here we are.
