Chapter 1 - The Trials (Part 1/6)

A black-haired and a red-haired boy, seemingly friends, both maybe around 20 years old, were sitting on a couch and playing video games. "Fuck, yeah! Damien, I won! Now you have to call me young master for a day!", exclaimed the black-haired boy. Suddenly he heard a creepy whisper. "Anthony 'Young Master' Merin", the voice said.

'Oh Fuck, he is angry'

"YOU CLEARLY CHEATED! YOU CAN NOT TELL ME, THAT I DID NOT TOUCH THE BALL!"

"You actually.."

"Shut the Fuck up!"

'I have the Feeling that this young master needs to start running.'

"If you run, I will wait in front of our dormitory!"

"Did you just read my Mind?!"

"Your facial expression makes it really obvious."

Just as I wanted to sigh like a proper defeated man should, I felt horrendous pain. Everything became brighter and brighter and after a few seconds I was forced to close my eyes. I convulsed in pain and even started to think that I died, because the pain was so horrendous. It seems that at some point I simply passed out, because when I woke up it was as if I awakened from a deep sleep. Suddenly I saw a blue lines appearing before my eyes:

[The Soul Spirit arrived at this World!]

[All sentient Existences were sent to the 'Tower of Trials']

[To return to your Home World you need to pass 5 Trials]

[At the End of the Trials you will receive a common-grade Treasure, a first stage skill scroll as well as a 'Mana Awakening Orb']

[Also you will get acces to the System Interface]

"What is happening? My head is still dizzy... *blargh* Oh fuck, I vomited.", I said while wiping the remains if the vomit of my face.

[You will now be sent to the First Trial, the Trial of Strength]

"Bro, you sent me trough this Hell and now you do not even give me Time to rest! You fucking shit!"

Suddenly everything around me started to turn white and then countless Walls appeared before me, seemingly Stone Walls.

"What in the name of God is that? Its like… an immeasurable amount of Stone Walls! And where did they come from? Also, what the Fuck is the Soul Spirit?! I hope I wasn't kidnapped and something was installed into my eye and now I'm a guinea pig, right? *sigh* At least this time I had time to sigh. But what do I have to do now?"

[Punch with all your might]

'Okay, thats a simple Order, but am I really supposed to break Stone Walls with my bare fists? Hmmmm, this situation reminds me of the light novels Damien usually reads. But there Trials like that are always deadly. And I don't see any Danger around here that could possibly kill me. Still, I guess I'll try.'

And then I punched as hard as I could and different from their appearance, they were quite easy to break (in comparison to Stone Walls). I managed to destroy seven and the eight one cracked.

But after a minute passed, I still got no message on what to do, so I started thinking how my family was, and since I at that time deemed the Trials as not life-threathening, I wasn't worried and treated this as some competition. I was pretty sure my Father would ace this test, as he is a martial arts instructor and he knows how to concentrate your power on one point. But I wasn't so sure if my sister would get a good result, since she was still nine years old. And my Mother... *sigh* she died as a result of giving birth to my little sister, at that time I was 12. As if the System knew I finished thinking, a blue message appeared:

[Your Strength is 7 (Average for a fully grown human male: 10)]

[You will now be sent to the second Trial, the Trial of Speed]

Author's Note: This is my first Chapter I have ever written, and although it's pretty short, I'm still proud of it.
