Ishtaar scanned the frozen landscape quickly, her sharp eyes darting around. She tugged on Saad's arm, voice low but urgent. "Quick, let's hide behind that rock," she whispered, already moving toward the massive, jagged boulder. Saad didn't hesitate, following her lead, and Aali padded silently behind them, her scales shimmering faintly in the beautiful light of setting sun.
The moment they were concealed, the Crimson Sovereign floated down beside Saad, pulsing with its typical, glowing arrogance. 'You know, Kael,' the ego-shield's voice echoed inside Saad's mind, full of smugness, 'I think I'm going to take a little nap. Do try not to die while my glorious self is not watching over you.'
Saad rolled his eyes. 'Yeah, thanks for the vote of confidence,' he thought to himself, but Crimson Sovereign didn't respond and went back inside his inventory.
