A flight journey is tiring , no matter how many hours you stay in but at the end it feels uncomfortable to just sit at one place for some or many hours . But somehow dolly and her family managed this fact of boredom .
Dolly was always a sleephead , she could sleep anywhere , be it her own room or any other place . They all reached los angeles around 5 pm , when they found that they've arrived alfred got a big smile on his face
"what are you smiling for?" Dolly asks irritatingly as she wanted more sleep
" humans can smile anytime they want , chill" alfred replies
Dolly makes a face and moves forward!
"come , sit in the cab" dolly's dad says as he shook his arm in there direction so that they could see him.
After a while they reach home and dolly realizes that even if you go and live at any place in the world , but at the end home is home , there is no substitute to the place where you live or where you're born.
"you're not attending your lectures?" Daisy's mom asks her
" no actually i was busy with book fair at nearby library , i will probably be going whenever dolly returns" daisy replies
" returns? From where?" Her mom asks
"she is on a one day trip to italy with her family , they all must be returning anytime today" daisy replies
" oh that's great"
" they even asked me but i was having fever hahah" daisy says in a flow as she was doing something on laptop , but suddenly she realises that what she just said
" oh my god , seriously daisy? You had fever and you didn't told me?" Her mother asks disappointingly
" im so sorry mom , i just didn't wanted to upset you , even dolly doesn't have any idea regarding this , you really get worried so soon that'why i thought i should not upset you more" daisy apologises to her mom
" next time be careful and i don't want anything like this in future . I'm your mom and i've the obvious right to know about your health" her mother says
Daisy suddenly gives a tight hug to her mom and says sorry again .
As daisy sits comfortably , she suddenly receives a phone call from dolly . Daisy's face lights up with joy as she knew that now dolly is calling her , so she must be back . The news fills daisy's heart with happinesss.
"also im coming to meet you at night , we will have dinner at your place only" dolly says
"we? , so your parents are also coming?" Daisy asks
" nooo , we means me and alfred" dolly laughs
Daisy's face suddenly turns red when she learns that alfred will be at her place for dinner today. Her excitement fills the air as she eagerly shares the news with her mom . She can't help but smile as she tells her mom that both dolly and alfred are coming over for dinner .
This adds an extra touch of significance to the evening. Without wasting any time she starts preparing for the dinnner . She ensures that every dish is made with love and care .
" by what time they're coming?" Daisy's mom ask her
"probably 8" she replies
Daisy and her mom were eagerly waiting for both them . As they placed the food items at the dining table , suddenly doorbell rang . Daisy knew that it was alfred and dolly .
" wait i'll open" daisy says to her mom
As she moves forward to open the door , her heart flutters as if there is something special . No doubt dolly is special to her but today it felt like something else , something very soothing and melodious.
As the door swings open , there is alfred and dolly standing with few carrybags , talking to eachother.
" welcome both of you" daisy says in a sweet voice as she tightly hugs dolly . It was the best moment for her , meeting her bestfriend after so long felt like a relief to her . Even dolly had tears in her eyes . "staying in same city , studying at same place but still didn't saw eachother from so many days due to work" dolly says to daisy as she cleans the tears from her eyes.
" don't worry but now you're back" daisy says to dolly as they both laugh .
Suddenly daisy remembers that alfred is also standing behind continuously staring at her. She releases dolly
" hi" daisy says very calmly .
For a second alfred pauses . As if time stopped and there is no one else in this world except him and daisy . The sound of her voice lingers in the air , and alfred finds himself captivated by her " hi" . Unable to take his eyes off her , he suddenly remembers that he has to reply to her hi and he was still standing at the door .
" oh im so sorry , hi daisy" he replies
"its totally alright , come in please" daisy says to alfred.
After coming in , alfred straightly moves to daisy's mother . They exchange warm greetings as her mom welcomes both dolly and alfred with a friendly smile.
As they all sit together , alfred stares at daisy with love and care . He somehow just wanted to tell her how much she means to him . Her laughter , her voice , her smile and everything was all that trapped alfred in her love
" we should probably have dinner now , i'll set up the plates" daisy says to everyone
"sure honey , go" her mother says
Dolly and daisy's mother were having a serious discussion about the university life .
Meanwhile daisy brought the plates and other stuff. They all had dinner very peacefully , talking to eachother and adoring the unknown facts of italy .
