"You are..."
"S-SEVEN!!" Two yelled out, as she jumped into his arms. Seven, upon hearing his "name", he shuddered, and lifted the weeping little girl up, taking note of the number imprinted on her wrist.
"Two...? Why the hell are y-? No, first, I should say, It's good to see you..." His head focused on Nova.
"My bad, pops. Didn't know you was with my sis." He handed back the stolen wallet. "Are we cool?"
Nova pocketed his wallet before nodding, and then looked at the siblings. "It's Nova."
Yes, he was happy that they were reunited, but now what? What was the reason Two suddenly wanted to find him? And how was Seven going to accomplish it?
"Seven, was it? I thin-"
"Akira. Don't...call me that."
"Huh? Oh, right. Akira. I was saying, I think we need some explanations over some drinks?"
"I can't yet...I'm 17..."
"Hmm...Alright. How about some tea?"

"...And Nova, don't wreck the place." Was the last rule Shane had given to Nova and the siblings before leaving his house. It was a generally nice house. Plain, but nice and cosy. So they sat in the lounge area, and began to discuss.
"S- Akira...How did you survive when you left the house? I thought Ruthless killed you...?"
"Ruthless..." He winced at the memory. "She hung me from a tree in a forest and said she would come back to get me in a week. First couple days passed, and I could feel the blood all rushing to my head. Day 5, bugs and whatnot started to eat at me. Three days passed and the hunger started to devour my inside. I was unconscious throughout the next two days. On the next day, It rained. I drank what I could. Eventually, the 13th day came, and I knew I would die if Ruthless came back."
Akira sipped from his mug before continuing. "I ate my way out of the chains that bound be to the tree."
There held a deafening silence in the room. Two started to cry again, whereas Nova looked at the kid in wonder. "Did I hear that correctly?"
"You did."
"That's not possible....is it?"
Nova's question was responded with the rumbling stomach of Akira's. Two piped up.
"I-I'll make something..." With that, she left to the kitchen in which she prepared to make something to please the boys.
"Now...about you, Nova. How did you and sister become so close?"
"She actually saved my life. A mech almost killed me during a raid."
"Huh. So you're a raider? And I assume Ruthless makes Two fight...Something I refused to do that had me starved to death."
"...."
"Oh, Nova...Don't get too close to my sis, or I'll call the cops on you, if you know what i mean."
"Rest assured, that is not the case. What I want to know is...your sister asked me to help you, but is this it? I don't think finding you was all to it."
Speaking of, she returned with a two bowls of rice which she shared with them. Then she cleared her throat. "Nova....Akira....Please kill Ruthless. I believe you two are the only ones that can do it."
Akira took a huge gulp from his tea. "I...I don't know if I can face that woman again."
Nova ate a spoonful of rice. "I got my ass rocked by her in the last raid. What makes you think I have the strength to even challenge her?"
"Nova, please. I don't want One to die."
Suddenly, the scruffy boy's eyes perked up at the mention of his sister. "She's not dead?"
"She will be if we don't act fast. She'll end up like the others..."
Placing his food on the table, Nova wanted to help, however he didn't believe it was his place to make a choice. "I'll think about it. Right now, most of us need rest, and Akira needs a shower. As well as a pair of new clothes."
"R-Right..."
That being decided, Akira went to go wash himself, while Two went to sleep in a guest room. Nova turned on the news.
//"Welcome to NewestLive! Marcel Martinelli's sentencing has been postponed!
The familiar description of the terrorists sent shivers down Nova's spine. Was it the group who killed Lay, and the others? And if it was, what is this remnant they are searching for from the Martinelli's? He sighed and rest his head on the couch, gazing at the ceiling. A screen appeared in front of him.
[ Quest: Feels like home.
Household condition: Suitable.
Would the Host like to deem this plot as his home?
Y/N? ]
'Shane's house? what's so fit for a king in this boring building?'
Regardless, he accepted and completed his quest. Saying no to it was risky, as he wouldn't know if he could find another suitable house which could result in him getting killed.
[ Side Quest
Feels like Home: Search for a suitable residence fit for a King. ]
[ Quest complete.
Choose a reward. ]
Two screens blipped into existence before Nova. The first had text.
[ Reward 1:
= +2 Levels
= 6 Stat Points ]
It sounded quite appealing to him, being able to get stronger within the blink of an eye, but the other reward seemed to ominous. It was a holographic picture of a futuristic mystery box. The question was, what would it give Nova. The system had already given him incredibly enhanced eyesight, who knows if it could give him otherworldly abilities? The urge to choose was digging into the man, and his mind caved into the pressure.
Nova did what his mind told him to. He grabbed the box, which materialised in front of him, and opened it up to see what was inside.
