A female student.
Wait—there's a girl!
"Hi." it greets me. I didn't answer right away.
I looked at her gentle face, fair complexion, long lashed eyes, perfect eyebrows, red lips, and most of all her long and straight black hair.
"Uh.. Hi?" The woman repeated and moved her palms over my eyes. I came back to reality and looked at her shyly.
"Hi," I greeted and waved slightly.
"Hi to you too!" She greeted Calista happily.
Wait— Calista and I stared at each other for a moment, I could see the shock in her eyes.
"Y-You can see me?" Calista asked in shock.
"Of course, you are so cute." The beautiful woman smiled at Calista.
Calista almost passed out, but I caught her in my palms.
"How?" Calista asked shockingly and glared at me.
"With my eyes?" The woman said.
Of course what, but Calista is a fairy how can she see! As far as I know, only us as a family see Calista. My grandfather, who is Daddy's father, sent him to take care of us when we left our worlds.
"I'm Valentina by the way." She promised and shook my hand as we got out.
"Travis, this is Calista." I said here and turned to Calista who was still staring at her.
"Is there—Is there a dust on my face?" Valentina asked.
"None, it feels weird because you can really see me." Calista said. I thought of it either.
"You're studying here?" I asked Valentina.
"Yeah, I am a new student here." She said while we three are walking outside
"Are we in the same building?" I asked curiously.
"No, I think, I'm near on the conference room." She said. We're far since I'm near the flagpole which is in the other side of the buildings.
"I can't still believe that you can see me." Calista butted and she looks at me. I laughed because of her weird movements.
"Neither do I, it's my first time to see a fairy." Valentina said and smiled at Calista. Yet she didn't flinched or got scared?
We bid our goodbyes when we got outside. Calista and I got more really careful because Johnny and his friends might see us.
Good thing the driver's not in the parking lot. He's already waiting in front of a house near our school.
"How was your first day?" Mom asked me immediately.
"It's okay, normal day." I said before I went upstairs.
"I met a girl, a beautiful girl— Oh! Cut the crap Travis! You just met her a while ago." I said to myself.
I mean, I'm not saying that I like her, I just admired her for being her, yeah that's it.
"Are you sure you don't like her?" I heard Calista's voice.
"Jeez! You're freaking me out!" I shouted at her.
"Come on, can't you just be used to me to pop uo everywhere? Remember—I am a fairy." she laughs sarcastically.
I didn't answer her and took my books to start my advance reading.
I didn't realize that I fell asleep while reading last night. My books were still scattered on the bed so I quickly put them away before going straight to the cr.
"It seems like you're excited to go to school, hmm, why?" Calista asked me while I'm wearing my shoes.
"Because I want to study and learn more?" I said. Why am I so excited? I mean I was excited yesterday but this time it doubles.
"Why—" I shushed her and took my things before she can say a word.
"Let's go Calista, I don't want to be late." I said to her while I walked down the stairs swiftly.
We took our paths in our secret place, Johnny and his friends might waiting us in the front gate.
He can't stop for being a bully because teacherd and guards can't see him doing his thing. Which is Johnny's bullying secretly.
When will he stop? Immature.
"Good morning class." Our professor greeted us before she started discussing.
"Are you looking for her?" Calista raised her eyebrows asking me while we're eating at the cafeteria.
"No, of course not." I defended.
"Hi!" Calista and I almost jumped up because Valentina just spoke in front up us without any warning.
My heart! Last time Calista, now Valentina?
"I didn't see that coming." Calista said sarcastically.
"Hey." I smiled at her.
"Can I sit with you two?" She asked. I nodded my hair and lend her the spare chair.
She's holding a tray and it seems like it's her lunch for today.
"Good thing we both have a same lunch time." She said out of nowhere.
"Yeah I agree, good thing." I said and smiled at her.
"Have you eaten, Calista?" Valentina asked and looked at Calista.
"Do I look like a human to you? Can't you see I'm a fairy—A fairy." Calista said.
"Oh, I see." Valentina said. What's happening to Calista?
"Uh.. Valen—" Valentina stopped me and said something.
"Sorry, you can call me Val, Valentina's too long." She smiled at me.
"Val, okay Val. What course are you planning to get in college?" I asked her. We talked and talked until the lunch time ended.
We had the same dream course which is Political Science, what a coincidence.
After we went out of canteen, Valentina bid her goodbye since she needs to go back to her building. That's why Calista and I went to my building.
We're still in touch since anytime Johnny and his friends might caught me.
"Why are you being rude?" I raised my left eyebrow at Calista.
"Talking to me?" She asked.
"Je—of course you, who am I talking to?!" I sarcastically asked.
"Oh, I am not." She said.
I didn't answered her and sat at my place. I don't know what have gotten to her but I think she's kind of awkward since she's not used to be seen from any people instead of us, my family.
