Chapter 7 - My, mother of Africa

Original Written: December 8,2020

Oh, mothers of Africa, enchanting figures of nurturing grace!

The fondest dream a child could conceive is to have a true mother from Africa.

Oh, mother of Africa, you stand as the epitome of maternal excellence,

Mama, you reign supreme, your heart, a crystal-clear sanctuary that shields me.

Your influence permeates every corner of my world; your boundless love, an undeniable testament I proudly bear.

You perceived the silence of our cries,

Distinguishing your resolute voice amid a thousand miles.

In darkness, you saw me and recognized me when shadows prevailed.

You've selflessly sacrificed everything for my happiness,

Bestowing upon me the choicest lessons from life's harshest tests.

The love you harbor transcends any wealth I may possess.

Your heart blooms like a morning flower, never withering even in the evening.

Oh, mother of Africa, an angel sent from above,

You've birthed one of the greatest beings known to humankind.

From your womb emerged legends, warriors, and creative minds,

Oh, mother of Africa, how priceless and unique you are.

Mother of Africa, my mama, the idol of every woman,

Your handprints eternally engraved on my heart, and your footprints indelible on this sacred land.

How blessed am I to be a daughter of Africa!
