Chapter - 6
"Huh! Where the fuck am I?"
*Looks around the surroundings*
"This looks bad. I gotta get out of here as soon as possible"
Shut up kid, you're not a manga protagonist to think that you can escape from this situation.
Before he could speak again, the other man hit him with a stun gun making him lose consciousness again.
"Kids these days dunno their place, all they know is to spout garbage outta their worthless mouths.."
The man looked towards the other kids tied up in the same room with a malicious smile, "isn't that right?".
The other kids looked at him ferociously with a sense of disgust but knowing their place, they couldn't speak up against him or rather they thought that planning a way out would be better than wasting their energy on rage which also bore a potential risk as an aftermath of it.
Nuh uh! I need to get these pieces of glasses which this little missy shoved in my hands out, y'all don't do anything funny till then. Not like y'all can do anything anyways, haha.
The man walked out of the room to somewhere else.
"What should we do?"
"What can we do when we can't even move in this state, tied up to this damn chair!"
"Let's just think of a practical plan to escape from here"
"I have my phone in my pocket but I am not able to reach it as my hands are tied up"
"Ryota wake up you damned fool!"
"He has been slammed on his head. Ofcourse he would be out cold like this, and he got stunned just after he woke up too"
"It has been 1 hour since, I can't, I can't be here any longer. This atmosphere itself is too much but looking at this horrible state of her's is unbearable"
"I feel that way too, Kei-chan, but as much dreadful and pitiful it is, there's nothing we can do about her as she is right now"
Uh…I hear Yumeko-san and Kei-san talking, Suguru too. What is happening? Did I faint while..? Oh!! I remember now. I gotta..
"Kei-san!"
Ryota was finally back at his senses
"Ayye Ryota! don't shout, he may come back because of you"
"Suguru- uh I can't move- I'm all tied up, y'all too"
"You realize it just now?"
Ryota said to everyone; "We gotta get out of here"
"And the question is how!?", Suguru asked
"Well-" just when Ryota was going to say something his sight fell on a person, it was a woman. It made Ryota's head feel weird, also triggering a survival instinct in response to fear. Though as much as he was shocked he didn't shout; "that- that girl..."
The others were silent but there was a very sad look on their faces.
That woman was one of the missing girls from whose case the urban legend sprouted from.
The woman was in a horrendous condition, her tongue was cut out of her mouth so she couldn't speak, there were countless cut marks on her body, some hand and leg fingers were missing, a couple of burn marks on her body along with many bruises, there were even some holes in her body gushing out blood. All indicating that she has been through a series of torchers.
That wasn't all, she was completely naked, and, was seemingly raped a few times. But the worst thing was that she was still alive after all that, the culprit did his best to not let her die throughout the whole process. Though she was unconscious from before Ryota and others arrived at this place.
Ryota had realized that they all are in grave danger right now and he has to get everyone and himself out of there.
Ryota was thinking about how they all could escape then suddenly he saw a piece of glass on the ground.
Ryota was tied up on the chair, his hands and legs were tied up too. He made himself fall along with the chair and then crawled to the piece of glass "Suguru you come here too" Suguru did the same, they both got to the glass piece. "Take this glass and cut the ropes binding my hands, quickly" Suguru took the glass and started cutting the rope.
Yumeko and Aikawa were watching silently in deep hope inside as Ryota and Suguru were attempting this.
It was quite a thick rope so exerting a vast amount of force was required. Suguru kept cutting it till it finally got cut and Ryota's hands got free. Ryota then started unbinding the ropes which bound him to the chair and the ones on his legs. "What about us?" Suguru asked in a haste, "It would be quicker for me to free y'all after I'm completely mobilized"
Ryota had freed himself from the chair and now he was unbinding his legs but out of nowhere a voice came from the direction of the door to the room, it was the man standing at the door; "Ah ah! My play things are trying to escape, I didn't expect this but whatever..I'll mutilate you as a punishment" he started approaching Ryota "oh boy, ain't you a wild one?".
The man had an unusually terrifying aura coming off of him along with an innocent looking but cold smile at the same time while he was walking towards Ryota with his comparatively huge body to Ryota.
"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! This damn rope- get off" he was desperately trying to unbind the rope but it was getting even worse.
The man raised one of his hands forward to grab Ryota. Ryota took the chair lying beside him and threw it with full force on the man. The man ducked his head down taking a defensive stance and blocked it with his hand, the chair broke from the impact though it did result in some minor injuries to the man.
In the meanwhile, Ryota took the glass piece from Suguru and got the rope binding his leg off with force (it resulted in the skin of the area the rope was tied on his legs to tear out), he then hurriedly jumped off of the window beside him, falling to the ground floor.
"Here he goes.." the man said this in a careless tone. "Hey kids! Do you think he will come back to save y'all or call for help?". Suguru replied with rage "what's with that question? Ofcourse he would!".
The man looked at Suguru with a mild but genuine smile on his face and said "he won't…because I'm going to slaughter him before he does" the man then suddenly jumped off the window to the ground floor, landing on his feet.
"Now, where could he be hiding?"
The man was searching around the house for Ryota looking from close to far away distances but Ryota was nowhere to be seen, it was hard to say where he was hiding so the man shouted "hey boy! come out otherwise I'll make sure your friends see the darkest of hell!" Though there was no response
Meanwhile, Ryota had instantly gone inside the house again after he jumped down, the sock on his body from jumping off the 1st floor summed up with his past injuries made him feel dizzy for a bit but he was fine now. He was checking in the house for weapons; "the woman was extensively tortured, it's only obvious that he has used a variety of weapons for that. I just need to find them"
Ryota was running against the clock and he was getting very anxious after he still hadn't found any weapons but after a short while he finally found a large box in one of the rooms which had a variety of weapons inside it, beside the box lying there was a short sword, more of a dagger.
Ryota took the necessary items and sneakingly went outside in search of the man.
The man couldn't find even a trace of Ryota so he said to himself "Aah aah! I'm getting a feeling that he went inside, I should just check in…"
Just when the man turned around to go inside the house through the door, a knife came flying towards him from the side and pierced his skin upto his abdomen. "Uh- Woa!" The man grabbed the knife and pulled it out gushing out blood along with it, the knife was covered with blood.
The man looked at the knife and said "ohh..my blood, it's so sickening.." he then swinged off his blood on the knife and looked towards the way the knife came from, he knew that Ryota was there and the only emotion he was feeling at the moment was - joy.
You finally decided to come out to play with me, boy? Haha! Hahahaha! Perfect! Attack me with all you have got and I'll do my best to tear you limbs from limbs, let's play to death. The man rushed towards Ryota, another knife came flying but this one was catched by the man.
Ryota was moving away from thay location -
I gotta change my location before he comes here so I can ambush him again-
"Bam! Found you"
Ryota was surprised by the man's speed but he instantly focused on the situation and attacked the man with a dagger on the same place where the knife had hit but the man dodged the dagger, took it from Ryota's hands and threw it away.
"Now you've run out of toys, kid"
The man continued with a series of attacks by the knife he was holding on Ryota, though he was intentionally making all of them only to make shallow cuts and not severe injuries so he could enjoy this situation longer.
He then attacks Ryota on his face with the knife making a cut on Ryota's cheeks also kicking him in the meanwhile which made Ryota fly backwards and then fall on the ground.
The man then spoke to Ryota
All your struggle amounted to almost nothing in saving you or your friends, naught. How do you feel right now? Utter despair? Regret? Anger? Fear? How do you feel knowing that you and your friends are going to be brutally tortured to death? I wanna see that emotion on your face, that absolutely negative emotion.
Show it to me, and keep it on till the time of your death, I promise to make the wait feel like an eternity and make you suffer for the whole time. The man slowly approached to grab Ryota who had fallen on the ground and was sitting on his buttocks.
The look on the man's face was rather unnatural, a blend of joy, malice and cold, something that could simply be described as 'terrifying', like a monster disguised in the skin of a human.
The man muttered to Ryota
"I want to make your life a literal living hell"
