Walking into the room is a group of four people, three women and a man.
The sudden entrance, draws Leon's attention. Before he can speak, the man talks.
"Why are you in this room, this is our squads training hall?"
"Look at the small gem, he will be easy to kick out" one of the women whispers amongst the party, Leon barely hearing the words
"There were no indicators on the door suggesting a booking" Leon replies calming first making sure he didn't make a mistake.
"You don't seem to understand, we as seniors can kick out juniors as we please. Its the reward of the strong" another woman gleefully states.
Looking them up and down Leon eventually responds with "Then you can leave, I still have more training to do." Finishing his declaration he slams the end of the spear into the ground and waits for them to move.
"You prick, this is going to hurt" the man begins to gather magic and steps forward.
'What is wrong with people here? They are all probably warrior class, this will likely be challenging' with the thought he prepares for conflict.
Just as the two parties were about to engage, the door opens once again. With it a powerful surge of magic draws everyone's attention. Entering the room is in long leather pants, her deep blue hair glistening as two pillars of water follow her in, spiralling with great force.
Flicking her index finger forward, she confidently announces "you four can leave now."
"Who does this bitc-" before the woman can finish her sentence, the man covers her mouth. Beads of sweat start running down his cheek.
"Oh what was it she said" crossing her arms to prop up her modest mounds, she smiles. The pillars of waters form archers that draw back their bows, equipped with arrows of water. The bows appear to twitch with great weight, alerting everyone that if they were to be unleashed, their target would be devastated.
"She praised your beauty Lady Elise" the man quickly replies.
"As is natural, now be on your way" making a motion with her hands as if to shoo them away.
As the four quickly scramble to make their way out, she turns her attention to Leon.
"Do you happen to know who I am" she fidgets with her hair as she closes the distance between them.
"He called you Elise, the same name was on my recommendation. Was that you?"
"Why, yes it was. Do you mind if your big sister watches you train?"
Nodding in agreement Leon continues his training as Elise watches from the corner.
'Now why did Sir William recommend this boy?" watching Leon fight, she slowly develops an opinion on him. 'His magic is rather lacklustre but also quite deceptive. The crux of his magic is lack of output, it looks like he keep his flame active for quite some time but it doesn't have the necessary fire-power. Is it because the root of the magic is a lower tier?'
She looks at Leon's face before continuing her thought 'yet it is rather deceptive, with a small clear gem you wouldn't expect the magic he uses nor his capacity.'
Leon having passed the five minute mark this time restarts once again. 'Even if I factor in his low magic level, his combat potential is unexpectedly high. Neither weak nor strong, very curious.' Feeling as if she is missing some information, she relaxes as Leon continues his practice for the next hour or so.
Deciding that the level of training he had completed would likely prove sufficient for tomorrow, Leon walked over to grab one of the towels nearby. Taking off his shirt he begins wiping off the sweat. His face reddens a smidge from the blue eyes watching him. Seeing Elise's nose twitch he couldn't help thinking 'do I smell bad.'
Elise heads over to Leon seeing his training was done. 'Wow that definition and scent, such a hard worker.' Before the spicy thoughts running round her head get any more traction she begins speaking "would you like me to escort you to your room."
'Hmm does she want to talk' thinking about her suggestion for a second he replies with "sure I would, are you ready to go."
"Yeah lets go" with her response the pair begin to walk back.
Walking through the grass while the moon is out gave the pair a feeling of loneliness and tranquillity. Elise deciding the mood was appropriate, asks the question that was on her mind "why were you training so hard just now, are you worried about your spar tomorrow? If you want I can stop it, Galatea has to yield some respect to my family."
"Thank you but I am fine. Rather I am looking forward to it, it will be my toughest challenge yet and I fully plan to overcome it" seeing the fire in his eyes she couldn't help but blush at her suggestion.
"Then I wish you luck, come find me any time you have a problem and I will try and help."
"Thank you" happy to have found another friend he smiles.
With them having arrived at the boy's dormitory, they both say their farewells.
Just before midnight a cloaked figure made their move. In front of them was a woman from the night class.
"Its a member of the cat tribe this time huh" seeing her slight feline they remark.
"Not a particularly useful one" the deep voice gives their evaluation after looking them up and down.
"That's not very nice. How about we play?" She sends power to claws before slashing them, creating wind blades.
The figure unperturbed from her actions jumps over the first one, when it reaches it then. As the blows continue, they slowly creep forward dodging each of them.
"Nyah" giving a shocked voice she changes to close combat. Her hand speeds towards their stomach.
Before it can reach, her neck lifts and eyes widen as the lifted heel of their right foot drops at an insane speed. Without time to even think about dodging, the blow sends her face burying into the floor. Though she didn't stay their for long. A left kick sends her into a nearby wall.
Blood seeming to be dripping from everywhere she focuses her anger.
"You'll pay for that" putting every drop of energy she can muster she surges forward.
Crack. Crack. Thud.
The first impact of the left fist, shatters half her ribs. The right to her jaw, breaks it, leaving it dangling. Finally the right leg boots her back into the wall. In the end her consciousness fades while the wall envelops her backside.
"Now should I drain her?" after a breath they answer their question. 'It isn't worth the effort and I just thought of something better.'
Crack
The figure then uses the blood of the victim for their message. 'This might be the first pin to fall for what is to come. Now what will be your move Henry.' With their message complete, the cloaked figure disappears into the night.
