THE PYRAMID
Present day,
Conrad grunts with each step he takes forward, climbing further up the mountain is surely exhausting.
The villages around the academy have only ever been viewed by him from a distance, never physically.
To locate the last girl affected by Eris's darkness, Conrad is forced to take this journey.
As he reached the village, he went into the first bakery he came across.
He found himself a seat at a secluded corner, ordered for coffee and a freshly baked apple pie.
Conrad only realized how farmished he really was when the aromatic smell of the pie greeted his nose. He wolfed down his meal and wiped his mouth when he was done.
He dropped a gold coin on the counter. The one-eyed woman sharply looked at him, grabbing the coin and quickly sliding it into her pocket.
"You must be from a luxurious background young mister!" She churtled.
