Chapter 39: The Birth of Farmland
"Mithril farming tools have been transmuted. These tools were crafted through alchemy using materials from medicinal herbs, mushrooms, and a Jagarman. Just as Sui said, there might be a terrifying secret behind these Mithril farming tools that accelerates seed growth."
"As expected of Lord Franz! The transmuted farming tools have become divine-class treasures!"
I've heard of divine-class treasures before. They are tools with abilities that are beyond ordinary comprehension. They're considered legendary-class items, and adventurers from all over the world are said to be searching for them. They are incredibly powerful and valuable, and if I were to use or sell them to a tool shop, I could earn enough gold to last a lifetime.
"I can't believe I made a tool at the level of a divine-class treasure."
"Even though I've never seen a treasure like this, it's undoubtedly above divine-class. After all, such farming tools are simply unimaginable!"
Indeed, even if we call it a divine-class treasure, it might exceed that considering its incredible abilities. Since Sui, the Dragon Mage, says so, I want to believe it too.
"At this rate, we might be able to harvest."
"Harvest, you say?"
"Yes, because the wheat and rice are growing at a tremendous speed, it seems we can harvest them. It's just past noon now, and by evening, they'll probably have grown enough to be eaten."
Terrifying growth speed. Until now, I've only used alchemy magic to enchant weapons and items. I had also applied alchemy magic to the sword of the Hero Grathias. Though I've undone that as well.
"I brought a little food, but at this rate, it will run out soon. I need to secure a food source. With Lord Franz's alchemy magic, we can probably produce food quickly."
"Sui must be hungry too."
"Yes, I'm already feeling hungry."
"Then let's have breakfast."
"Yes."
I had brought some food with me. It's enough for today and tomorrow, but after that, we'll run out completely. If we can harvest on this farmland, that problem will be solved. I feel relieved knowing that we might be able to harvest on this farmland.
I have breakfast with Sui. Since Sui can eat rice and wheat as well, it's convenient to cook the same dishes for both of us.
Later in the afternoon, we'll go to see the farmland. I hope it has grown more since this morning.
