Volume 2, Chapter 6: Battle in the Underground Waterway
I obtained the Empress's permission and asked the guards on our side for help. I instructed them to withdraw all the Empress's guards in the underground waterway and block all the exits leading outside.
"I'm sorry. I have a really bad feeling about this," Princess Miyabi, who was beside me, looked at me.

At that moment, the guards from earlier came running and informed us that all our allies had withdrawn from the underground waterway and that the exits from the waterway had been sealed.
