Chapter 1 - Reincarnated into a TCG?? (Info dump)

I am currently lost in thought.

"Why?" you might ask, well I'll tell you.

I have been reincarnated into a game. A common trope, I am aware, but still a suprising one. However, that isn't the worst part.

Rather then being reincarnated into a visual novel, or and rpg, or anything similar. I've been reincarnated into a Trading Card Game.

What does that mean? It means that rather then knowing the future events or the world around me, I only know the cards and the rules of the game. I have no advantage other then the memories I inherited from this bodies owner.

The dim light from the clock in front of me reads 6:00 AM, meaning I have been sitting here blankly for almost 3 hours after being awoken by the worst headache I could experience.

This unfortunatly means I have to get ready for my first day at school, which starts at 7:30. Forcing me to stop staring at the wall in front of me.

Sighing, I get up out of bed and head towards the bathroom, only to be startled by the body in the mirror. Although a bit skinny, the figure reflected is a bit handsome. In fact, compared to who I was before, the figure is way more attractive.

"Ah so I really am not Luke Carter anymore, I guess I have become Aaron Moore..." Another sigh escapes my lips.

[Assimilation complete]

[Welcome Host, to the world of Alduria. As you may know, this is no longer the Earth of your past life and I hope you keep this in mind.]

[Due to various circumstances, an aid has been uploaded to your system. A better known term would be a tutorial. Once the tutorial is finished, the aid will cease to exist and you will be on an equal plain as everyone else.]

[Now to start please say "Status"]

Blinking rapidly I stood there dumbfounded as the words blinked in front of my eyes.

[Please say "Status"]

The words flashed again before I thought of something.

"System, can we start in after I finish getting ready for school..." This isn't an excuse to ignore everything around me. Probably.

The light in front of my eye shrinks into the shape of an envelope and flashes to the top right of my vision of my vision. Looking at it now, the system is beginning overlap with the games ui...

Shaking my head to stop my thoughts from going more astray I finally finish heading to the bathroom.

----------------------------

30 minutes later

----------------------------

Sitting on the bed with my white and black school uniform on, I call out "system I am ready"

[From here on, to interact with the envelope icon, please say "Mail." Now back to the tutorial. Please say "Status."]

[I will only be covering each section briefly as I am a tutorial AI and not a comprehensive analysis AI.]

[We will start from top to bottom, with your existance. As you can see this is your general data, which includes your name, age, and race. I can not go into detail but as you live you may come across information that will adjust your status here.

Therefore what you see here is not gurenteed to remain the same.]

[Moving on we have Techniques, this will includes techniques you learn on your own, whether it be a fighting skill or a cultivation technique. As passive and active are self explanatory I will move on.

[Now we have abilities, I will go into this a little more later but for now you can think of these as abilities you gain from your summons]

[Next we...]

"System what are summons" As I had already played the game before I already knew mpst of this, however I am expecting it to be a little different since this is real life and not a game.

[I said I will elaborate later, so sit still and wait for me to finish.

Next we have your status, I will be skipping Self explanatort stats such as agility and strength and such and will only be explaining Mana and Luck.

Mana is a stat that can be improved through cultivation techniques and can be used to call out your summons, use various abilities, and use various techniques.

Luck on the other hand is one of the most important stats, but is that much more difficult to improve. To most people it is an unchangeable innate stat, that is how difficult it is. The luck stat influences your draw rate for summons and various details on certain abilities and techniques.

It overall has a greater influence on the world around you.]

[Overall your stats are about average for your age, except for your luck which is about 10 times more then the average persons. Although, to effect the world around you as I stated before it is insignificant.]

[This concludes the explanation on your status screen.]

[Continuing the tutorial, next will be your summons starting with the gacha screen.]

[Please say "Gacha"]

As I was about to say the words my eyes caught the clock on my desk which read 7:00. Realizing that I might be late for school I got up and ran out of my house.

The words in front of my shrank into the mail symbol as I ran to the bus stop, just barely making it in time before the bus left. I breathlessly made my way to the back left of the bus and sat down next to a girl whos eyes were closed, and head leaning against her backpack on her lap.

Looking at her briefly, I turned my head to the front and thought for a moment. The bus won't arrive for another 20 minutes so I should have enough time to at least go through the gacha tutorial. With that thought I called out "Mail" in my mind.

[Please say "Gacha"]

'Gacha'

Another screen popped up in front of my mind that made me excited and a little scared. The amount of money I wash away everytime I see this screen made me unsure of how to feel.

[This is the gacha screen, as I said before your luck is very influential on many things and this is one one of them. To start we have a few different options on screen, Daily gacha, random gacha, item gacha, catered gacha, and summon gacha.]

The most important of these is the Daily Gacha. When a humans luck exceeds a certain threshold it is called a milestone. As yours is 10 times that of the average humans, you have reached the first milestone naturally. This means that while the average human is summoning 1 random summon/item a day, you can summon 5.

Each milestone increases your daily summons by a certain amount, and certain ones give you other benefits. Of course you luck also influences the rarity of a summon or item as well.]

[As for the other gachas I will explain them briefly. For all gacha's except for dailies, which are free, you have to sacrafice something to draw from them. You can find out what and how to do this on your own. Item and summon gacha are self explanatory so I will not elaborate.

Random summon can give you anything included in all the catagories you have unlocked, meaning that if you summon 10 times, all 10 could be from any catagory. To make up for this however, you have a higher chance of summoning something with a better rarity.]

[Catered gacha on the other hand lets you sacrafice an item to summon something related to it. If you sacrafice a Lion carcass, for example, you will be more likely to summon an animal, with an even further increase for the animal to be related to a Lion directly.]

[Finally, every thing summoned has a ranking from G-SSS. G is the lowest while SSS is the highest available for you now. G are items or summons that are of mortal quality, such as a house cat as a summon or bread as an item.

SSS are the limit of mortals, such as an elder dragon as a summon or a weapon of myth like excalibur. While an Elder dragon can be SSS rank, please be reminded that it is the limit and not the standard. They can also be SS or even S rank. Not all summons are the same.

[Everyone in the world, for their first daily draw, gets to draw 10 times with a 10x luck multiplyer, with every draw after that being related to their milestones and luck.]

[Please draw from your daily gacha by saying "Daily Gacha"]

As I was about to say the words, the bus came to a stop. Realizing I've reached school, I forced myself to not draw anything.

'I will draw later system, I won't have enough time if I do it now.'
