They finally arrived at the church father Michael told holly and daniel to follow Damian to their rooms. The next morning father Michael went to Daniels room and spilt water over his face "Wake up kid and follow me it's time to train" father Michael said, daniel responded in a low voice saying " you don't have to be so mean about it". "What was that?!" Father Michael asked. " Oh I'm coming" daniel answered. They took a walk to the pool then father Michael made daniel wear a water suit and attached weights that weighed about 200kg on both Daniels hands and 300kg on his legs then father Michael said " your uncle's sword is quite big and heavy, so for you to be able to use it fast and precisely you need the physical strength to do it" then father Michael gave daniel an even heavier sword and said " see the dummy at the end of the pool" daniel's response "yes I do, but why do I need a water suit". Then Michael laughed patted daniel on the back and pushed him into the pool "what hell was that for?!" Daniel said. The pool wasn't deep as it only was at neck level for daniel "you'll try to slice through that dummy while under water with weights and a heavier sword and you'll be here for a while that's why I gave you a water suit to protect your skin from water damage" Father Michael said. Daniel responded "that's impossible!". " I'm giving you 31 days to do it and if you don't manage to do it by the within those given days, I'm going to throw you out of my church". Then father Michael walked away and left the room. Daniel stayed their trying but he couldn't even get himself to carry the sword under water, 3 days had gone by and he was only able to move it slightly upwards 5 more days had passed and he was able to at least carry it but not swing it. With 23 days left daniel had decided to work on getting closer to the dummy at the end of the pool. Meanwhile at the same time in a room somewhere in the church holly was being taught how to use holy weapons by church sisters (division A nuns) in the 8 days daniel had been struggling to move holly had already learnt how to use holy weapons and after trying out a variety of weapons she settled on dual wielding two magnums and for emergencies a modified double barrel pump 12 gauge shotgun (Dp-12) on her back. Holly had gone to see how much progress daniel had made but in 10 days with 21 days left he had only made it quarter way and still wasn't able to swing the sword underwater, "oh come on you've been here for 10 days and you've got nothing done yet " holly said. "Don't be dumb these weights are the equivalent of 1 metric ton and I'm in water so it takes a lot of effort to move" daniel responded. "Anyway I'll be leaving soon, it feels weird in here and its kinda making me feel fuzzy, good luck with that attitude, you'll need it " holly said. holly had gone back to her room and daniel remained struggling. " for a second I felt lighter like all the weight on me was suddenly lighter" daniel said.
13 days left and his finally made it to the dummy at the end of the pool but now he had to slice it in half while swing his sword underwater but daniel was so tired he couldn't even swing his sword, he tried to cut through but 5 days had gone by and he only mad a small cut on the dummy with 8 days left he decided to pick up the pac. he had swung at the dummy nonstop till finally the last day a had arrived and he was only half way through. *Boom* the door burst open "TIMES UP" Father Michael yelled as he walked into the room. "No I can do it I just need a little more time" daniel responded. " I said times up " as he pulled Daniel out of the water. He removed the weights and the water suit and helped daniel to his room. "Wait here" Father Michael said. As he went of to get food, a few minutes later he returned with food and told daniel to eat and rest up he'll be back in 3 days. Daniel remained upset with himself as he waited for father Michael to return and kick him out. The 3 days had gone by in a flash and Father Michael had returned. And the first thing daniel said was " I'm sorry I disappointed you". Father Michael answered " you did good and even better than i expected ."
"I understa.... wait what I won't be in kicked out" daniel said. " I'm not kicking you out see there was a lot more going on than you think the gravity in that room is stronger than normal earths gravity 10x plus the weights of over 900kg and you still managed to get to the dummy and almost cut it up". Father Michael closed the door to Daniels room an said " this wasn't just training you to be able to lift your sword but to test your resolve initially i didn't expect you to be able to move under those conditions its inhuman Daniel Carter." "Wait what do you mean". as he presented daniel with a with a blood red rosary to represent him training under the church father micheal said "as of now i don't know what to make of it but take this rosary and become a follower of the Lord".
