I heard the buzzing of the system which helped me keep consciousness. I found myself stuck to the wall with my back buried inside.
The wall was almost cracked in half diagonally and there were numerous cracks on it.
Bending myself a little more with a groan, I came out of the small hole in the wall on which I was stuck.
Supporting myself with the wooden sword, I examined the situation and found Maa scowling at Rachel.
But when I saw the condition behind Rachel, I was terrified and shocked by the destruction.
"Rachel, are you okay?" I screamed but suddenly I saw Maa's hand move and she took out her sword from the inventory.
It was 'The Extingusher', the divine sword of our kingdom. The legend says that whenever the flames of war go out of control 'The Extingusher' will extinguish it with the blood of the enemy.
Seeing the sword in hand I panicked and shouted.
"What are you doing Maa?"
She glanced at me for a second then said.
"Son, pardon me. I need to finish some work."
Making me shudder for a moment, her killing intent poured out as she flew towards the broken wall behind Rachel.
"Rachel"
"Rachel?!"
"Rachel-Rachel, are you okay, answer me." I screamed as I saw her in a trance for a moment.
___
I was lying on the bed, half-naked while Rachel wiped my body with a wet cloth. The water she was using was mixed with a special type of potion which had healing effects.
~knock~knock~
"Miss Rachel, I have brought the Runic script you had asked." Broza the butler of the mansion said from behind the door.
"Okay, come in."
He came in and shut the door with a click, then gave the Runic script to Rachel.
Rachel opened the scroll and placed it above my abdomen, which was red and a little swollen by the kick.
"Your Highness, I am going to use 'super heal', so please try to bear the pain a little." To her words, I nodded in response with a pained expression.
She poured her mana into the script and activated the runic circle drawn in it. My body and the runic circle glowed softly in a blue light.
The moment the light was emitted, the portion of the red swollen area started healing and gave me a good amount of pain.
Runic scripts are the imitations of magic circles, that are written in the Runic language to get the same effect as the magic circles.
Since ancient times there have been only 43 types of Runic scripts created because creating a script requires a very high level of talent in the Runic language and magic too.
The scroll Rachel used contained high-level healing magic called 'super Heal' which is a 'B-rank' skill. She couldn't cast this magic because she is a '5th Class Magician or can say 'Master Magician'.
Till now the highest level of skill that has been imitated in runic scripts is 'B-rank' skills just like the 'super heal'. Many researchers, 7th-class Magicians and Runic Grandmasters are still researching to create an 'A-rank' runic script.
As I coughed up some blood, Rachel hurriedly wiped it from my mouth with a cloth on her other hand.
"Just a little more Your Highness." She said in a firm tone and a stoic expression but I could see some tears in the corner of her eyes.
[She is always... argh... so worried about me. Maybe... argh... I should give her some... Mn...present this time.]
"Haa~ haa~ I think... I am alright now." Taking deep breaths I said.
"Your Highness, please lay down. Your condition is still not good." She said when I tried to lift my upper body.
Just when I was about to reply to her, I felt a hand on my head and suddenly I felt a little warm inside my body.
"I am sorry son, I really don... I am sorry." I heard a familiar and ethereal voice. It was Maa who had placed her hands on my head.
I realized that my body was healed like nothing had happened in the first place.
I slowly turned towards her and was about to ask for the reason behind the sudden kick but stopped after I saw her sad expression.
"Why... It's okay Maa. I know you had a reason but next time you won't be able to kick me like that, this is my declaration Maa." She made eye contact with me when she heard my reply and her face regained her lost shine.
I gave her a bright smile and she also matched my smile.
"And I will teach you how to do it, my son." She said while hugging me.
"I am ready any time, Maa." I hugged back.
After ending the hug, Maa encouraged Rachel.
"You are one of the most talented magicians I know, Rachel but to reach the level of your grandfather you need something more than just talent. And when you realize what you need come to me."
True, her grandfather was known as the 'Sage' in magic. He is still admired by young magicians because he was the founder of the Magic Tower and was rumoured to have reached beyond 7th class.
But he was killed by my Father 100 years ago which ruled out the rumours as my father was a Grandmaster.
"I will work hard Your Majesty." Rachel replied with a bow.
Maa didn't apologize for the incident to her because she is a ruler, a Queen and apologizing to a maid is beneath her.
"Now, Rachel go rest for a while." Maa commanded and Rachel complied.
Broza who was watching us from the side was too awkward and nervous.
"You too." Maa said which he happily complied.
After Broza left Maa made some unknown hand signs and then muttered something in a low voice.
"Celestial Art, Domain."
A cube-like structure of a bright blue translucent light formed between her hands. With a gesture, it expanded and covered the whole room.
"Now we can talk in peace." She said and sat in front of me in a chair.
"So let's talk about your swordsmanship. To be honest, your swordsmanship has not at all improved. If you had listened to me two years ago, you would have been a Master level Swordsman but you chose to see the world outside of our kingdom." She said.
"And if you had agreed to follow my training regime then you would have been rivalling a Grandmaster."
"But I am happy this way, Maa." I said with a dull smile to which she just sighed in defeat.
"And that's why I can't argue with you, I want to give you all the happiness this world can offer." she said with a smile.
"Maa, I want to ask you something. Am I really doing the right thing with Princess Veronica?" I suddenly asked.
"Humm... What thing?" She raised an eyebrow.
"The marriage, Maa. You know that we like each other and are unofficially fiancees but you know that I will not live longer than a hundred years due to not having any mana in me, just like father." She remained silent and looked at me with a smile.
"Marrying your father was one of my life's happiest moments. We knew that conceiving a child would be very hard and he would die after a hundred years. But instead of worrying about the unknown future, we lived our life together, exploring the mysteries of life."
"But Maa, I want to live, live together with you, with Veronica, with Rinn and Rachel too. I fear to be separated from you all. Today when..." I halted my words as I might have hurt her by saying something.
"Humm... Today what?"
"Nothing, it's just that I remembered that I had promised Princess Veronica to play piano for her."
I changed my words.
[How can I say that her kick gave me a death experience and now I fear death.]
"I see, good-good, this is a good way to impress her more."
"Son listen carefully, I am not going to repeat it. If you don't have something, you can achieve it. If you can not achieve it, you can steal it. If can not steal it then just create it yourself." Her words rang in my ears like a thunderclap.
"If you are determined then never give up on yourself."

The sun had already set while the moon was slowly illuminating the capital with its soft light.
I was in the carriage with Rachel who was going through some documents, while I gazed at the moon.
The Moon was so beautiful that it reminded me of a certain purple-haired girl.
I remembered her hazel eyes, her cute and beautiful noes, her cherry lips, her big breasts, her hourglass figure, her big ass, everything.
[I want to bloom in your arms like the moon blooms in the night's arm.]
As I thought that a tear appeared in the corner of my left eye. The tears slowly started to fall but before they could cross my cheeks, I wiped them clean without any hesitation.
[Today I realized my true feelings.]
"Rachel, after we reach the dorms, I want you to deliver a message to Princess Veronica."
